Only now in 2024 with a google search, I found the global tea hut magazine, the Sep 2015 version talking about Tea Sutra… the way you describe tea, the meaning behind the tea sutra translation and the graphics, images in the magazine blowed my mind! I’d say it’s the best tea magazine beyond language! Thank you for all tea lovers and masters behind the scene of Global Tea Hut!
I subscribed to this publication just in time to recieve the very last monthly issue, the Dong ding issue, along with the tea,and I was VERY impressed! A few days ago,I received the new quarterly format, with the beautiful Puerh, and was even more impressed! I will be trying the late 80’s Puerh tonight, and am very exited. I was still in high school when it was harvested, wow! I should first try it in a Gaiwan, but I can’t wait to steep it in my Yixing, circa 1980. Thank you for providing an excellent periodical, and equally excellent tea!
It depends on the type of tea and how rare/expensive it is. The short answer is "as much as possible within budget." Each of the four teas willl average somewhere between 30-50 grams. Some teas literally cannot go that high, though, since the leaves are big and you can only stuff so much in the container without breaking them :) So it really will depend on the season, our budget, etc. We also try our best to let excess budget spill over to the next box, meaning that due to the topic we may want to choose specific teas and they happen to come in under budget for that season, so that means that we can get some even better teas the next time around. The spring 2023 box, which we are putting together now, has some stunning teas, for example.

The new format is wonderful and so well thought out. I'm excited to dive into the teas and the magazine
Congratulations for this new era! We totally love the new format. Thank you for so much effort and work full of love!!❤
Fantastic changes! I'm a former member who lapsed when my life became very nomadic. This feels like the right time to rejoin, looking forward to it.
I already have it. It's amazing 🥰 I love your magazine. It's so good that you increased the amount of tea
How many grams of tea are in the subscription container?
