You're one of, if not the best place to go to too look for information in diablo 2. You and a few others have done all of us a huge service. Thank you for taking the time, you've got a like a subscribe from me and I'll continue to consume your content.🤘
13:16 that's my exact feeling of the items, they have a specific theme, magical, fire, melee, caster, poison, ice, but some of them don't have very well difined or reach the correct amout of abilitys to correctly define the theme of the item.
37:39 just imagine if they give this item a thorns aura like level 20 of thorns, and the attacker resives a 300 dmg for example, at least metalgrid could fit better for the theme intended.
Sweet phil just dropped the video . a member gave him 40 unique rings from 62 nightmare Andariel runs and he got three Stones of Jordan rings in 40 unique rings... what luck
That Stone of Jordan seems generally useful and I'm not surprised that it was once used as a currency. What led to it falling out of that role, and are runes the current currency?
It was used as currency because everyone had 7 Everyone had 7 because they got duplicated to an absurd level. They fell out of favor as currency because of the addition of the unique item code which caused duplicates to disappear. Yes runes are currently used as currency with various values.
Did they remove Constricting Ring? It was a L95 item that gave 95% resistance to everything (+20% to max) but a negative HP regen which would drain ~2 HP/s.
The metal grid can be used to get aura bonuses on non necromancers witch is really cool also 22 iron golem is a big skill investment I’m curious to know if the 22 iron golem would stack with say someone who had 20 in clay golem and 20 golem mastery for a golem that’s made with 22 and essentially 40 synergies potentialy maybe fire golem 2 for some crazy golem madness because as long as you have rank 1 in iron golem your golem won’t break it will have the stats you summoned it with so you could wear it just to summon a rank 22 golem saving you a bunch of skills
Small note about non necromancer iron golems. Instead of following you from game to game they refund you the cost of the item in gold he's made out of. And destroy the golem on the next game entry

If iron golem worked better it would be a more solid option

Idea for a video ...do this video but with only set items and rings , unless of course you already have and I just haven't seen it

I’m not sure but I think iron golems carry over from game to game ?
