Those Pen + Gear Sketchbooks are BUSSINNNNN 😫😫😫 they work so well and the pages are so THICK! I can use water based markers on them with no bleed through 😩
Another tip for broke artists is to check the clearance section(s) of your local department store and/or your nearest craft store. I got some Faber Castell pitt artist brush pens for just over $1 each on clearance when the normal price is just under $5 each.
I love cheap material I find for beginners it's the best, in addition when you start with cheap it allows when you start wanting to take more expensive not to go into exaggeration, personal for watercolor I started with the watercolors in tubes from the action store with 6 or 8 tubes for 2 to 3 dollars and I went to a palette of 18 monali (Cultura) pans for 13.89€, the price is very different between the both without be too expensive
I don't normally trust that brand because most of their products I've had bad experiences with. If it works for you, that's good though! It's nice that Walmart has increased the amount of art supplies it offers.
@@aldebearart same I kind of paint in them only with paint that is not mixed with water idk how it doesn't bleed maybe if I don't add water to paint a lot I only use it for backgrounds
Sorry for the weird break at around 7 minutes. I was really tired when recording but also editing this and completely forgot to cut it out. XD
