Hey, TheThings fans! Welcome back to another video. Have you ever been in awe while watching a child actor on your screen? It’s unbelievable how much talent child stars have today. However, we noticed that a lot of the times these young Hollywood actors are bringing to life characters way beyond their years. Not just in age but in maturity.
So, we did a deep dive into the casts of some of your favorite TV shows and Movies to uncover all of the child actors who were way too young for their roles. From productions that involve explicit scenes, assassins, and major vulgar language, these actors range from as young as seven years old.
Can you guess what mature role Millie Bobby Brown was cast in at just eleven? Or what seven year old thought their time on The Haunting of Hill House was fun instead of traumatic?
Other films and series we’ll be discussing include The Hunger Games, The Queen's Gambit, Ginny and Georgia, and even The Handmaid’s Tale.

Growing up in the spotlight must be so hard. They don't get to live a proper childhood.
A child is supposed to live a happy fun life
Not a life about being a star
I mean being a famous star could still be fun for them
They could make friends on the sets would be fun r
Imo i honestly think it all depends on their parents. If they are being watched out by adults then why not encourage them to do what they love. They still go to school and have to maintain education while "working" and just think about the amazing adventures and fun enjoyment of this great world they get to experience. That's the basic definition of a happy childhood. It doesn't appear at all like any of these kids are being forced into slave labor, but just doing what they love and choose to do. The entertainment industry has drastically changed from 50 years ago and protect these kids no matter the cost to ensure their well-being. In today's society, I applaud them. I guess it simply depends on what one considers a "proper childhood". Would you rather them being indoors on video games and computers all day like majority of this generation. I wouldn't. I don't mean to offend anyone and just expressing my opinion. But just take a look again at their happy faces in interviews. If they are happy then praise them and their parents for getting them out into this world. I would say they are having the greatest childhood that we can only wish we had.

Saying they're too young for their roles is a bit demeaning
No, it really isn't. There's a lot of damage that's been done to child stars over the years, people aren't saying "they're too young" because of their skill, or their IQ, it's because, even if a movie didn't disturb them very much now, it could later, or it could result in inappropriate behavior from adults in the industry, because that is known to happen as well.

I love stranger things i started watching it when I was 6 it never scared me at all
I was around 6 when it came out and I first heard about it when I was 8 but I never watched it I only watched the RUclips clips lol 😂 BUT I did watch a horror movie (the conjuring) and I thought it was funny so I’d probably not be scared of stranger things

Thank you for saying that. These kids are super protected and not forced into anything they are uncomfortable doing. This is not the 1950's where child actors had almost no protection in entertainment. It's like everyone missed the fact that these "children" are also just people who are acting. It's called acting for a reason. It's not real!! They aren't actually going through any trauma whatsoever and aren't being forced into anything.

Adu is another show in this category. The actress was 5 or 6 and had a bunch of stuff to deal with. He lost him mom after she got Beaten. Her sister froze to death while they were on the wheel of an airplane, he saw her fall out of the plane as the wheel stuck out. He got caught and went to a police station where he met a guy. He was 5.

As good as they all were in their respective roles, what will their careers be like in the future? Hollywood has not been kind to child stars in the past, (Drew Barrymore, immediately comes to mind, as does Judy Garland and Shirley Temple, and so many more), with all sorts of abuses going on. Drugs, Alcohol and sexual abuse has all been brought to life in the gutter-sniping press over the years. The industry is littered with kids who who either destroyed their lives with excesses or were abused by others and never became grown up stars, or worse in some cases where they became "Adult" stars. And even with the new rules in Hollywoodland, and all sorts of scandals coming out (Some justly, but so many unjustly) it is certain that these new stars have to be looked after and given a chance to shine in future projects.
(10) 11-12 is perfect fitting in most cases, 8-9 (10) is really to young for huge roles in focus.
