I met her in the mid 2000s when I was interning at one of the big fashion houses in Paris, when she had the short blonde hair. She used to come all the time to the studio and not only was she one of the coolest girls I’ve seen but she was also so kind and down to earth. She always remembered my name.
Probably fall 2006 season (the only season she walked shows with a blonde pixie cut)

@@bal9944 tutte le modelle come mariacarla che lavorano in high fashion non hanno il viso tradizionale bello, il look high fashion è più interessante.
@@bal9944 anche io preferisco altre modelle dalla bellezza più classica! Di sicuro lei ha un aspetto unico, diverso e per questo molto originale! Candice e Barbara sono stupende, ma sono inquadrabili nel modello “Barbie” visto e stravisto!

Non sempre significa felicità.La depressione in certi ambienti,è molto diffusa.C'e molta solitudine quando poi ti ritrovi da sola in albergo.E spesso le città dove vanno per le sfilate,nemmeno le vedono.
@@hesperides7838 Non metto in dubbio che la depressione sia un disturbo bruttissimo. Ma può venire anche a chi vive nella stessa città in cui è nato e che fa le stesse cose avendo persone intorno e molto amore. È una malattia che può venire a tutti. Se vedi bene il video lei dice di aver vissuto un periodo spensierato, dove con la bicicletta girava per ny , molto giovane e molto felice. Sono esperienze da film che non capitano a tutti, anzi.
Sin da piccola ricordo quanto fosse unica! È una vera icona di stile nell'aspetto, ma soprattutto nei modi e nella personalità. Un vero spirito libero! Grande Mariacarla, Life in looks adorabile!

The most fascinating thing about her is that she can look white, Asian, black or brown as per very subtle changes in her makeup. When I saw her in mugler show I thought she was Asian. Then I saw her in versace show where she looked white then in an interview and there she look black. Her looks are very fluid

I remembered when Gianni Versace was killed and who was making the Versace fashion show rehearsal in Roma ? A very young Maria-Carla. Interviewed by journalists, she was crying "It was my dream to work with Gianni Versace ! And now he's gone." Heartbreaking. Glad that she is a legend now, she deserved all the best. Btw she is an Italian Countess, classy inside and outside.

Not too cold in southern Michigan yet! But I live in and old apartment building and the heat is honestly a little gross - I usually just do electric heaters and blankets, layers as long as I can. And I honestly don’t have to turn the heat on at night until December usually.
