She Tested NIV positive.
A lot of people buy these new versions because they think it will help them understand the Bible better. I did the same thing not long after I became a Christian back in 1977. I just decided one day to go out and buy a couple of other translations. They were the NASB and the RSV. I didn't ask anyone about it or even tell anyone, but it soon became evident to me that there were some very serious differences. I was only 20 y/o and knew virtually nothing about the Bible. God gave me a great love for it and I began reading it voraciously right after I got saved. Couldn't get enough, but I didn't always understand what I was reading. After a while, I began to realize these new translations were not helping the matter and I saw some problems. I believe the Holy Spirit led me to not read them and to stick with the KJV. I still have that NASB on my shelf now, but tossed the RSV in the trash where it belongs. I will stick with the KJV until I get raptured or die, whichever is first.
I can see your point, brother. I got saved on Sept 13th 1975 from a Roman Catholic background. Started with the Living "Bible", then the Good News (False Views!) then the RSV (Ridiculously Silly Version). My Christian growth was slow and stilted with many setbacks. However, in the summer of 1979, I bought a small KJV (with centre column references). I absolutely devoured this Bible and read it through from cover to cover many times and, oh boy, did I grow in leaps and bounds in my Christian life! Sadly that Bible eventually fell apart, but my Christian life didn't! Now, after many years I still can't get on with reading modern versions. Clearly, there is something precious about the old King James!!
I have a similar backstory. Bought everything from the message, to the NIV, NKJV, NLT…but the Holy Spirit led me to a King James Bible preaching church that loved and blessed Israel and ever since I have NEVER been able to read the modern versions of the Bible. I even tried to be more “open minded” and tell myself not to get too wrapped up in these “minor” issues and therefore continue reading modern versions. But I was never able to overlook the inconsistencies within them concerning the character and authority of God. I am KJV preferred today without apology and I seek to educate those who are unaware of the issues with modern translations
@@fed_up_cowboy Amen brothers. Amen.💜✝🙏🏽
I have always thought of the NIV as the devil's tool
Thank you so much Dr. Stringer for your fight against this atrocity against the Church and God's Holy Word.
I would love to have an inexpensive pamphlet that I could download or purchase and make copies to pass out. This is a subject very close to my heart and it's urgent to get the truth out to the masses. May all at KJBRC remain empowered by the Holy Ghost and blessed by the will of God, much appreciation.
I pray that God would provide you inexpensive pamphlets to spread this information
@@Mr-pn2eh~ Thank you so much & God bless you.
@boldasalion6436 your welcome
So which King James should we be reading since they all don't say the same thing and even contradict each other in spots
@@randywheeler3914 ~ Make sure it is an "Authorized King James Bible", there are quite a few publishers, just depends on letter size, real leather binding etc. that you prefer. Personally I recommend "Local Church Bible Publishers" depending on where you live if may choose another publisher.
(Jude 1:4-5) "For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. {5} I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not."
I had an NIV Pastor call me ridiculous when I brought up the fact that the NIV uses "Morningstar" to talk about both Jesus and Satan.
No, I'm not ridiculous.
I believe the King James Bible is the perfect word of God.
The NIV pastor DOES NOT BELIEVE the word of God.
Same happened to me.
@@stevieb5058: Was he a Calvinist?
@@19bmase he’s one of those that would say he’s not, but has all the same doctrine that a Calvinist has. Had to break contact with him when he said, believing on the Lord Jesus Christ isn’t enough to save someone.
@@stevieb5058: Whaaaaaaaaa?
That's utter insanity!
What was his reasoning? Did he list "obedience" as in Perserverance of the Saints?
Calvinism is from the pit of Hell.
@@19bmase yep you called it!
This was very well done. Thank you. God bless
Thank you for watching!
The NIV is even worse than I thought.
I hate how the other translations replace the ecclesiastical office of bishop with the generic term overseer.
Nefarious intention version makes me ANGRY!
Very important topic, and great info... but the camera movement is a bit dizzying and distracting.
AMEN, very sad! Thank you Brother.
That was really helpful, but the constantly shifting camera angle is dizzying.
Thank you Dr. Phil Stringer for your commitment to the truth. I have been blessed by your teachings. By the way brother, why are you sitting in that dark room? Have they put you in the witness protection program or something? Lol, just kidding. Keep fighting the good fight brother.
Because why not
I have never used the NIV.
NIV may be the most sold English bible. But I doubt it caught up yet the the KJV as being the most read English bible.
Amen
I went to Bible College, they forced the use of the NIV.
I became KJB only.
Excellent video!
Well done sir.
"Doctrines of Devils"...KJV bible
This is a really great and super relevant topic to cover today, but the filming and editing of this video is far from optimal for watching and staying focused on the subject as it is being laid out. The music is unneeded when Brother Stringer is talking; I find it is competing with his voice and even drowning him out. The repeated camera cuts to his mid torso as he takes the books into his hands did not help either; we can't see the books in the dark room, nor what's on the pages. If you can re-edit the video, I would highly recommend it. At 8:31 in the video, I'm annony enough to give up watching the video, except I love to hear what Brother Stringer has to say about the Bible and its history.
"Free from the KJV"?
The fact that she went down such a reprobate path after her departure from using the KJV proves the KJV is the Word of God. She appears to have hated being convicted of her sin while using the KJV.
If anyone is interested on the true origins of the KJV and the modern versions then check out the three part documentary that you can find here on yt.
Part 1: A Lamp in the Dark
Part 2: Tares Among the Wheat
Part 3: Bridge to Babylon
Eye-openers. You'll never want to use a modern version again.
God bless. Maranatha!
I know John Doerr (the producer of the 3 films)
He put all his life savings at the time into those films.
He's a great guy.
AMEN

Only KJV followed the Hebrew when translating Zachariah 13:16. Most translations, including even the so-called most accurate translation NASB, only put what the Hebrew said in a footnote.
Zachariah 13 only has 9 verses; did you mean verse 6?
David Suchet who did the NIV audio bible does one-eye symbolism and other freemasonic signs and poses like the "sign of a most excellent master" and the "grand pontiff secret monitor" point.
Tripod. Better lighting. . . . .
I hope everyone sees this.
Thanks!
It was so sad she was so deceived, and she believed a lie.
The niv was never a bible in the first place!
Who is the man in the video?
That is our Vice President, Dr Phil Stringer
Kinda of odd he's hiding his face. Send kinda sketchy!!!
@@kevinjodrey7664 You're kind of sketchy
@@alegotronnortogela7695 I'm not hiding in the dark!!
Jesus can deliver them. Is anything too hard for God?
Leviticus 18:22 NIV"`Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable" Leviticus 18:22 KJV "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." Says the same thing!!! Your argument doesn't hold water. And, also, there weren't any raging homosexuality before the NIV???!!! Also. How do you know there weren't any homosexuals on the KJV translating committee?? If she wanted to get rid on homosexuality in the NIV she did a terrible job!!!!
Why are you sitting in darkness?
More like Virginia MollenKRAP!
You are in the dark. The piano is totally annoyingly loud. And I DO NOT RECOMMEND the NIV because it leaves out whole verses of the scriptures, and it changes words that change the meaning of God's Word. It may be the biggest seller, but I HIGHLY recommend you don't use that Bible.
MARANATHA !!
Wicked Bible (KJV Circa 1631)
“THOU SHALT COMMIT ADULTERY” 😱
The funny thing about the King James only crowd as they will scream you should only read the King James but then they don't even agree among each other on which King James you should read since they all don't say the same thing and even contradict each other in spots😂
We don't read the 1631.
It's not even easy to find a 1631 and for good reason.
The 1611 is the one you need.
Most of us reject the 1631 because of that verse error
I have copied stuff from the Bible, I missed words, stuff, its not that easy. Even worse back then when they put letter blocks into areas backwards, then paper, then printed it.
Love the NIV
So from what I could gather you are more worried about her lifestyle then what the NIV actually says and when you do point out a verse it is more of a problem of you don't like how it's translated well I can do the same exact thing with the King James that you did with the NIV how about Acts 5:30 in the King James and how it says Jesus was killed before he was crucified... how about you judge the King James with the same standard you judge the NIV
The accuracy of the NIV by Kenneth L barker is a good book for anyone willing to listen to both sides
@@jordyE..I am always willing to listen to both sides and why I am not sure of his stance I will check them out sometime
@@randywheeler3914sorry I maybe was a bit unclear in what I meant to say. It’s a defence of the NIV from one of the main translators (he has 3 small books looking at different aspects of the NIV)
@@jordyE.. also Dan Wallace has some great videos on manuscripts
@@jordyE.. for some reason my other comment keeps getting deleted it's about one of the other translators of the NIV that has some good RUclips videos
