Thank you.😊 Either a little water or acrylic medium works well. Sometimes using the acrylics basic range is enough, as the paint is naturally thinner. I tend to use the white in the range quite a bit for skies, as it has a thinner consitency when adding other colours.

Hi, the canvas was already primed, but you can add a coat of gesso too if you like. 😊
