Its amazing to see how different driving skills sets are across the country. I grew up on a steep farm in Herefordshire with two wheel drive tractors. There was a local contractor in his 60's who'd moved to the area from lincolshire and had never driven on steep ground before. He was terrified, but to old to learn and kept getting stuck. He had a 6 cylinder 4wd Renault and I was forever having to recover him from position's where he'd got himself stuck. Half the time I could drive his tractor out without a tow. When I did have to tow him out I only had a dexta or a nuffield. We had family farming in Wales and they were at least ten leagues ahead of me with stuff like this. I've understood why people dig themselves into the ground once the wheels have broken traction and or clogged up with mud. It's far better to pull in a low gear so that you can stop as soon as you've broken traction. It's much easier to move the tractor and re-hitch than have to dig a tractor out of the ground, especially when the ground has the same moisture content as slurry. In my experience it's best to have a walk about and suss out where the grip is. This took a lot of peoples time to recover from something that was borderline as to whether it should have happened in the first place. The case driver should have been aware that the tractor was sinking at least 3-4 seconds before he came to a stop. The fastrac driver looked like it was his 1st time off road. To much power, to much wheelspin and to slow reacting to it. It's much better to risk stalling at low revs. I've never the kind of lifting capacity that a loadall can deliver in this situation, but to my mind lifing the stuck tractor out of the ground and dragging it sideways made a lot of uneccessary mess.
well done guys, not an easy thing to get a big tractor out of deep mud. that tele/loader came very handy :) best of luck with the rest of your season frank (canada)
Well believe it or not i've also been driving tractors for a fair while, and over the years i have recovered plenty of stuck tractors and lorries from ditches, fields and snow, this being the first time i've got set myself. Hindsight is a great thing and if i was presented with that situation again i would handle it differently, i.e by getting the loader first.
Correct, but after about two seconds of spinning i was already down on the axles and it was game over, it surprised me how quickly she went down and from the cab i couldn't tell that i'd just dug some holes, the ground was like pudding and had no bottom to it.
Hey Chalky, yes its an extra, the boost is good but its a shame its not available for pto work, i could really do with that bit extra on a big baler. how's the silageing going, we just started mowing today
what we did back home with tele handler was bring long chains and a bucket, dig bucket into ground, chains onto chassis (chain down points?) and then just boom out... tends to drag most things out bar loaded 16t spreaders lol, tho you do need to be mindful of drains with bucket
Most of the time in these shots, the best way to get un-stck would be to pull in reverse from where they were headed. If they have a plow, do like they did then pull forward . Best thing to do is make sure field is dry enough for plowing
Total agree. When bogged down it takes three times the weight of the tractor in force to get it out, so a 10 ton tractor bogged down will need a 30 ton tug to get it out. If the implement weighs 1 ton and you drop it then you will get away with 3 ton's less force needed to get the stuck tractor out if it can't get itself out.
ye its easy to say i agree. but i also work on a farm, and drive tractors everyday and its one of the first things i tell people for when they start sinking in a wet field. also release air out of the tyres to get a wider surface area on the ground
Well done to telehandler the old buzzer was going of a lot. Land has been a nightmare trying to judge this last year did u manage to get all the holes sorted after?
Well things did get a bit dryer and we got a bit of drilling done, but after all the snow and rain of recents weeks its just as wet again. but its slowly drying up again well till it rains again lol.
Ursus is not only a small tractor. "kadkarFarmer" didn't write about what exactly model thoughts. There are also larger models such as 1934, 1954 or 1634. But on the such ground and pulling tractor with machine each tractor could well collapse in the mud
Why can the JCB lift walk all over the place, but the tractors got stuck? The tractors were in a pull [draft] when they became mired, but the lift was vertically lifting while pulling. Strange juju going on.
The best is snatch straps that can flex upp to 7 percent then you can build upp some speed and it's just soft and you get more pulling power I have one that takes upp to 30 tons for the truck works amazingly.
1. Once the wheels start spinning - stop. You will only get stuck yourself. 2. When trying to pull out a vehicle do it in a straight line. Not at an angle.
Panic first, then stop and asses the situation! thats what we all do! Tractors are getting too big,and too heavy, why dont they use cage, and dual wheels, spread the weight and traction, But you cant predict a soft wet patch ,in the middle of a field! i never thought, the little telehandler would get it out, without bogging down,a good job,i think!
Lol, well i know a lot of people that have got set this year, in various different situations. They all shouldn't be driving tractors either then i suppose?
The only reason it worked is because you remembered to have a guy standing there in coveralls with his hands in his pockets. I think that is a requirement for all big jobs.
have you ever heard of PTO driven cable winches for the Three-point hitch? they are made for Forestry, you would have pulled out the Case in few seconds
Its amazing to see how different driving skills sets are across the country.

best of luck with the rest of your season
frank (canada)
Very impressed with JCB 535 tele handler. I cant believe how it made short work of getting both tractors and the cultivator out the mud
Thankyou Frank, its not been the easiest season but its looking better now, hopefully the weather will stay kind to all of us!
Well believe it or not i've also been driving tractors for a fair while, and over the years i have recovered plenty of stuck tractors and lorries from ditches, fields and snow, this being the first time i've got set myself. You are obviously an expert, i can tell from all of your "videos" and comments on your channel.
Bloody hell, now that‘s mud ! Looks hard and dry on top,but later gives you quite a headache :-):-):-)
Lol, pleased to meet you George! I've got a william in the middle :)
The telehandlers are one of the best bits of kit on a farm!
John Somerset no

First smart recovery, DROP THE IMPLEMENT AND GET IT LATER!

The legend to the rescue..
that it did, we've got a new one now, As soon as i get it working i'll have another video up,
Well done George, and well done the Tele-handler and its driver! Was it as cold there as we've been having it?
Fair play man! I've had too push and pull tractors out with the 360 as nothing else could travel. Nice vid :)
Sank like the titanic LOL. Cool vid
Thanks Chad, its been a tricky year alright. the holes were just left and seeded around as a reminder lol.
The diff lock was selected but would not engage, one of its inhibits was active.
The first rule of pulling a stuck tractor; don't get stuck yourself.
Darrell Weathers Very good point
And if possible keep the recovery vehicle on solid ground and use a longer or multiple ropes. Even better a winch.
Lol you are right Wladek i think you would need a few chained together to pull that lot out!
The bloke in the blue coveralls with his hands in his pockets doesn't do a lot.
That is the owner of the channel
@@kendal5210 no, George is wearing yellow, he's in the Fastrack...
etikkboksen he isn’t blonde though and I thought George was
But they both look alike I can hardly tell
He's the manager!
The JCB loader driver is a welcome counter weight:D
I thought the same thing :)
Haha, yes we were lucky on this occasion, the 360 was next on the list :)
nice to see a young lad with his hands in his pockets ☺
That would be a sound investment i think!
Thanks Balmesh, the boss was on the loader and he's a dab hand lol. It was pretty cold, about 1 degree i think it was.
Well done to telehandler the old buzzer was going of a lot. Land has been a nightmare trying to judge this last year did u manage to get all the holes sorted after?
well done guys ... keep up the good work farming is a hell of a job .... :)
Well things did get a bit dryer and we got a bit of drilling done, but after all the snow and rain of recents weeks its just as wet again. but its slowly drying up again well till it rains again lol.
Shorter chain works better when pulling a tractor that’s stuck, the short distance between both seems to gain better traction for some reason, 👍
Thankyou.
For a minute i thought the loadall was going down too!
thankyou, that it is !
You obviously haven't bothered to read the description before commenting.

Thanks, she does sound nice :)
Backhoe is good when stuck but now i'm amazed 👌 what's that rack on jcb fenders?
Its near Sandy Bedfrdshire.
Why can the JCB lift walk all over the place, but the tractors got stuck? The tractors were in a pull [draft] when they became mired, but the lift was vertically lifting while pulling. Strange juju going on.
Yes it did well!
Well i'm probably wrong but according to google translate he seem's to be suggesting that an Ursus would pull it out. Am i wrong Wladek?
great video and do you have any tractors besides JCB?
Crane Lifting straps are the safest for pulling like that. No elasticity in them. Chains will fly when they snap.
The best is snatch straps that can flex upp to 7 percent then you can build upp some speed and it's just soft and you get more pulling power I have one that takes upp to 30 tons for the truck works amazingly.
the joys!! things any dryer now?
Superb loader driving
no offence, but the guy in the telehandler was pretty big, and the thing still pulled it ! Strong girl she is
That loadall is pretty handy.
one hell of a bloke in the loader!
Sometimes things just don't go to plan.
good video, damned good operator!
1. Once the wheels start spinning - stop. You will only get stuck yourself.
2. When trying to pull out a vehicle do it in a straight line. Not at an angle.
the joys of farming. includes mud
Lol you got me there!
Great vid. Great big tractors
Thankyou:)
George Saunders
hey dringo how are you doing!
That he is !
Never heard of soil health,or is it just a big lark ?
Is thag a 3230 xtra or a norm one?
The boost on the xtra is insane, I've been driving on today on silageing!!
The counterweight in the JCB loader wasn't heavy enough ! ;-)
That it is Hans! :)
That usually works!
Loadall saves the day again! Would farms be the same without them...
Daniel Hutchinson It doesn't bare thinking about a life without loaders!
Muddy business George!
Probably should have stopped when she started to dig in. I guess it takes the old legend to get them both out
Haha at the end the JCB even got more stuck than the case was xD
is it possible to put duals on those tractors?
Yea you can
Northern farmer-of course why wouldnt you
Why didn't he use the DIFFERENTIAL LOCK?
Think you should invest I crawler George ?
Why did u keep going when u were just getting yourself stuck
Gota try every way to do the job
Who is the guy driving the Jcb forklift
Should've got George on the back of the tally handler as a weight
ok;-) Btw, Nice videos. Gotta love that sound on the Fastrac:-D
good job!
Pastor Leonard Williams CAYA Thankyou:)
Love be how the loadall save the day in the end and is probably the worst off-roader……. In the mud at least.
Geez, It don't look like theres a bottom in the field.
Sam King A bit like pudding!
Panic first, then stop and asses the situation! thats what we all do!

i never thought, the little telehandler would get it out, without bogging down,a good job,i think!
Yes, the telehandler worked pretty well, but the Fastrac was not much to write home about, perhaps they should stay on the paved roads.
ever heard of using the dif lock
Easier said then done, especially when your looking at video.
How got the case stuck
It’s amazing how these vids have over 1m views
Lol, well i know a lot of people that have got set this year, in various different situations. They all shouldn't be driving tractors either then i suppose?
....... and some people just shouldn't make comments.
The only reason it worked is because you remembered to have a guy standing there in coveralls with his hands in his pockets. I think that is a requirement for all big jobs.
Super video
Hard man on the jib!!!
Looks like time to invest in some tractors with tracks.
It was touch and go at times lol.
You need to carry a roll of carpet in this situation
Plenty weight on the teleporter anyway
I would like to see that!
Check the comments, I've already answered this "question"
He's a big ole surrey in the telehandler
The soil looks dry enough...But I guess it's not
have you ever heard of PTO driven cable winches for the Three-point hitch?
they are made for Forestry,
you would have pulled out the Case in few seconds
Gud counter weight in loader anyway
The field was too wet to get the work done
