A Trip to An Rinn (Ring, Co. Waterford)

On this trip we went to An Rinn just outside of Dungarvan Co. Waterford.
We wild camped for the night and although it was raining, its was very calm and virtually wind free. After that we headed back along the Copper Coast (plenty of lovely future sites to visit) to Tramore strand for fish and chips and the watch surfers. We then headed home - we stopped off in Bodenstown Cemetery to visit the grave of the great Irish patriot Wolfe Tone.

Hello to all. Great reflection on history. Love the bit on the beach where V sticks her head in at the end. There's a light that's unique to Ireland and hard to beat when taken advantage of.

Very true re the light - it was lovely and the stillness (zero wind for once) made a difference. I turned just as she was doing it - she was caught rapid (as we’d say). It was incredibly interesting to visit the grave… Plenty of spots like that in Ireland on my ‘to visit’ list. - St Patrick, Joyce etc.
