Nice video. I just opened my V8 after 2100 miles. I replaced the tire and tube anew. The battery side cover was heavily cracked and taped. That cover was replaced. I did notice cracks to other pieces only observed after opening the wheel. Both inner shells were cracked, in the front, due to an impact a thousand miles ago. This wheel is well designed concerning its one of the cheaper wheels out there. I have nothing but praise for the V8. It has been exceptionally faithful. I still ride 20+ mile rides almost every day. I rarely use my car. Oh, the tire and tube replacement was very easy. Also, I found very little dust or water intrusion inside. I am in search of my next wheel. Desiring much greater range and a bit higher speed. I learned, as many have, on the V8. Now with a new tire, it ride like a new wheel. Anyway, thanks for the video. Peace from Maine USA...Guy

Hey I am about to completely overhaul my v8. New outside panels and interior support panels and I want to know if I can add silicon or some other waterproof sealeant to the seams and t where wires enter control box and whatnot. To make extra waterproof
Mine v5f wont tur on and the tire seem to be stoped like if it was with breacks. I opend it and i coulnd see any broken wirds so idk whta the problem . Also when i conect the mottor wires the wheel start to get stuck,
I want to hire someone else to do this. Just changing the tire was at the edge of my capability. But now I need to replace the inner casing(s). Who can do this? Anyone in the Bay Area? West Coast?
Keith Hennessy. Have you found anyone. I have to replace both outside casings and the inside structural ones. I wrecked it a lot learning. Lol. I’m in Seattle and kinda scared to attempt this myself
