    You're doing quite a commendable job explaining things for the amateur beginners! You certainly have a knack for imparting information! And perhaps you possess more common sense than most professional astronomers! Keep up the great videos!

    Is that a 10” dobsonian? How do find it’s portability? Thanks

    Will you be explaining eq platforms for dobs and tracking in the future?

      +Be aware Well, I've never used an equatorial mounting platform for a Dobsonian. Just did a quick search and they look really pretty awesome. I'm away travelling for the next few months, but maybe I'll have to look into more when I get back to my telescope!

    Hi Benjamin. If I am not wrong your telescope is a GSO 250/1250. I would like to buy the very same one. Do you recommend it? Cheers from Spain and congrats for your great job!

      Hi Pep, that is right! I think it is a great scope, especially for the price. I've also used a Skywatcher 8" and I wasn't too impressed compared to the GSO. In the end, I think buying nice eyepieces will make the biggest impact on your viewing experience.

    Hey bud, I'm also in NewZealand. I've been really interested in getting a telescope, I was thinking about an 8" Dobsonian. Where did you buy yours from?

    hi
    Do you see the planets with the same quality as with the smaller telescopes or better?worse?

    • @benjaminpoole9383
      @benjaminpoole9383  7 лет назад

      Hisham A.H You can see everything with more clarity and detail with a bigger telescope. it can take in more light than smaller telescopes. Having the right eyepieces and good seeing conditions are very important for good viewing. All the best!
