- We bought Pinakbet ingredients to cook Filipino food recipe Pinakbet. This Filipino food is Pinakbet without pork or simply called Pinakbet na Gulay since we only used vegetables to cook this. It is a healthy recipe and even we, Koreans, are in love with this Philippine vegetable stew!

There are actually two popular vesions of this dish: real "pinakbet" of Ilocos region with sweet potato and thick sauce. This is the more popular all across the Philippines, called "dinengdeng".
I suggest putting the egg plants the last because they're the quickest to cook. Also, allow the squash to "melt" a bit into the sauce. The sweetish taste and pale yellow color will give the sauce a good mix of sweet flavor. One last thing; lightly fried samgyupsal and shrimp will elevate the dish if you don't want pure vegan version of "dinengdeng".

Pinagsasabi mo. One pot method ang pinakbet walang gisa gisa. Tsaka walang kamote ang pinakbet kasi di naman nag-shrunk iyon. Traditionally walang kalabasa ang pinakbet.

That's yummy yummy Pinakbet. An Ilocano veggie dish. It's best cooked in fermented salted fish, called Bagoong. I think I saw you putting salted little Anchovies? Really looks yummy. You are also eating Lanzones and Rambutan. Those exotic fruits are very yummy. It's very expensive to buy them here abroad.
