    I really miss fish dishes in the Philippines. Cooking it in traditional way using coconut vinegar.🤤🤤🤤 The fish really fresh and has a sweet taste to it.

    I always cook this dish and when there's remaining of this dish has left in the morning, we fried it for breakfast and its actually tastes better because the fish was already marinated with vinegar and other spices.

    I love watching all your videos. Everytime i went home, i always asked if we have paksow or pinangat, also my Nanay is the best when it comes to pinangat, we usually also include dried kamias to this and it so delicious..

    Try to cook paksiw in clay pots. I find it more tastier if you cook paksiw in clay pot

    Paksiw can last without spoiling if you dont add water. You can also add eggplants sliced thinly.

    Paksiw is cooked the way I like. Lots of green chillies! What are the green leaves please madam. We use guava leaves sometimes. Yummy with unli rice 😂😋😋👍

    i love that. It is smoky since it's cooked through firewood. One thing id like to add? Bittergourd and Okra. Nothing I will change. Probably add boiled egg too in the middle. But, that's my favorite of the dishes. I always forget I'm on a diet when eating fish paksiw

    a sheet of banana leaves or cacao leaves will also do thing,
    you can also add one of your choice either a sliced eggplant, camote tops, or bitter gourd will do on that paksiw dish.

      Inun-unan don't have fish sauce. Southern Visayas and Mindanao we don't usually use patis.

    My Ilocano foster grandfather would absolutely love how this was made! The only difference is he'd make it spicier and probably add kamias to it as the source of sourness.

    I don't put water in my paksiw. Just vinegar, salt and spices. You may add eghplant, okra or bitter gourd if you like.

    That looks very delicious. You could add eggplant or a little bittergourd for more veggies in it. A pinch or two of sugar will also balance the flavors.
