Boys on the Side (1995) Official Trailer - Whoopi Goldberg, Matthew McConaughey Movie HD
Jane is a night club singer, out of work. Robin is a quirky real estate agent looking for a ride-share to accompany her to California. Her advertisement is answered by Jane, who at first was uncertain about her. A stop in Pittsburgh picks up a third, Holly, escaping a violent and drug-dealing partner. Girls on the road, reaching understanding, respect, and care for each other. But this trio is different - Jane a lesbian, Robin suffering with AIDS, Holly running from her past, seeking one-night stands and a good man.

Drew’s hair during this period was absolutely iconic! Her entire style was 🤌🏽
Yeah she's pretty hot during this period.
Agreed! Those tight locks are adorable!
She was IT in the 90’s. I loved all her movies.
I love this movie..I was 20....this and Reality Bites really defined the 90's! I really miss that time, it was more simple without all the social media bs we have now.
Yes! Those 2 movies on VHS were on repeat for me and my baby sister on the weekends. I was in my early 20s and she was in her early teens. Winona Ryder was the coolest to me.
Amen girl! Pixie
This film is so underrated.
agreed
Maybe it is now but back in 1995 it was very popular.
I LOVE this movie and love the soundtrack. Wish the cover of Magic Carpet Ride was released or at least on the soundtrack CD. I can't find a recording of it anywhere.
I agree!
90’s films are the best!
yeah
Amen
80s
Yep!
They really are. It’s a travesty what Hollywood has become
This movie is so magical to me. It was 1995. I was 19 yrs old and I had a date to this movie. Well the guy and I didn't florish into more, but it was a magical date to a magical movie and I'll always associate this movie with good vibes.
SkydiverSG
so agree with you
Did you watch two dance in the festival? I am the dancer 😉🙂 ... It was in tumacacori Arizona, 40 minutes of my house at the border across Mexico.
@@CarlosAReyes-oi1rx Oh wow! Yes, I know the scene well! That was a cute scene. I wish they would’ve shown more.
Awe that's sweet
This movie is now playing on Hulu. Welcome to 2022! Love it !
Its moved over to STARZ now. I'm watching.
I casually reminded this movie after years and I'm still crying, so beautiful!!
I’m balling my eyes out THAT WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST MOVIES IVE EVER SEEN i know it’s simple but the way it was written is magical to me, we get invested in the first 3minutes and the wlw underlying tone sets my soul on fire wow 5/5
When I saw this at the cinema at the ending as people left.. Some of them had been crying it was such a emotional message that even today stands the test of time..
This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. Great cast, acting and soundtrack was all just amazing
this is a great movie about friendship and love. this movie is about three Women who become very good friends on their way to l.a. but one ends up very sick and then they stay in Arizona. the acting in this movie is awesome. whoopi, drew and mary-louise have such a great chemistry with each other. the directing is great too. this is just a great movie. if you have not seen this movie then i recommend you do. this movie is cinematastic rating 5/5
What an incredbile gem on a movie I happened to find on Prime, ill never forget it
90's TRAILERS are the best!
Turns 25 today! Wonderfully shows the strong bond between women. Even secrets cant break true friendships apart. Feels along the lines of Thelma & Louise and Fried Green Tomatoes.
Had no idea mcconaughey was in this and I think I saw a young Niecey Nash too
i saw this movie when i was maybe 13, it changed my life
The part where Whoopie chases her car is not in the movie. It was cut out.
oh man
@I. Wynn Wynn yep
One of the best!! They don't make them like this anymore ❤
When it ended the people leaving the cinema had tears in their eyes and none of them we're speaking either..
I saw this when I was a kid it's a amazing movie.
One of my favorite movies
One of my favourite movies. My ex kept my copy, but it just arrived today Thurs 16th Dec 2021on blu Ray. Know what I'm doing on Christmas day, enjoying watching this beautiful film again.
just finished watching this! nice movie!
Just saw Spitfire Grill trailer too B4 this, both movies made me cry.
M-LP in this and Fried Green Tomatoes and I was just done. No more tears to give. So my heart moved on and ran off with Mary Stuart Masterson...
great movie, but it makes me cry every time I watch it.
I totally want to watch this movie!
I love this movie. Watching this trailer made me laugh - Whoopie said "singing Carpenters songs" at the beginning and the song at the end of the trailer was Dreams by the Carpenters. Very cute
Love this movie cry every time. True friends in end love it

This gave me such a 90s vibe that I thought Bill Clinton was still in the White House
J Bro 😂. I never wouldve seen this if my mom didn't watch it. Glad I did. 90s seems better than today
@@anonymousgamer3509 90s were awesome! Hardly any personal technology. The U.S. was in such a peaceful, laid back time. Take care!!
I remember being forced to watch this as a kid in the theater.
Now how do you feel about it

Matthew Mccoughey?
Yes! He plays a cop in this movie.
crazy
@@Hollins23 my mom loves him
@ConkeyCrack lol
Funny

aaaaaaaaaah
first of all holly doesn't actually kill her boyfriend, he trips and falls on the bat and dies so I don't understand why Holly gets arrested and tried for manslaughter when she doesn't actually murder him. Also even though Abe is a cop he still shouldn't have arrested Holly if he was in love with her and should've understood why she had to attack her boyfriend. Another thing why would he need to adopt Holly's daughter when she could've past her as Abe's daughter by putting his name on the birth certificate. Not that adopting her wasn't sweet but he could've just said she's my daughter without adopting her as long as his names on the birth certificate legally she'd be his.
