I'm sure I'm not the only one who said this, but I was mulling over the QPAS and some other stereo filters, and this is the video that pushed me over the edge. Beautiful and dreamy.
I know Im asking randomly but does someone know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me
@Howard Thaddeus thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm trying it out atm. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Any idea if you could use both the mono 1u input tile and the mono 1u output tile with the built in quarter inch ports, or does it only have connections for one?
Awesome video! I am debating getting either a QPAS or a SSF DiPole and it is killing me. I love make noise stuff, but the dipole seems so interesting... Your video is sending me back on the QPAS rabbit hole now. What to doooo? So many modules, so little money...
I have the mineophon and I find the preamp very very noisy, same preamp as is in the morphogenetic unfortunately. The effect is that the noise gets multiplied by the delay and then has to be filtered out. Also zone parameter doesn’t change pitch because it’s just a time box, but pitch will definitely change when changing the rate parameter. Lovely patches!
pitch wont change if you gave it a clock, but that makes the shortest timezones less useable. Yeah, it has its weaknesses, but overall it's still the best effects module i've ever heard.
can this be partly remedied by improving gain staging SNR - by feeding a stronger signal into Mime (before clipping), so that its preamp has to provide less gain, and then if needed attenuate the output signal after Mime ? also, i wasn't able to find out in MN manuals, but i wonder if the dry/wet mixing on Mimeophone and Morphagene done in analog or digital domain ? have you tried using Mime 100% wet in aux bus send/return setup, instead of as an insert effect ? this should also improve SNR somewhat, especially if wet/dry is done in digital. trying to decide whether to get one anyway or not.. thanks
The mimeophon has a Lil bit of noise inherently.. but noise was also used on the qpas later in the video via overdrive patching. ? So the answer is yes and no and yes.
that mime is way too noisy for any serious work. i love make noise, and have many of their earlier modules, but this is a clear badly engineered blunder. otoh, qpas is wonderful, and is definitely on my shopping list.
This is not good to watch after selling some gear. The only use case that remotely gets me interested in going back to Eurorack is to build a palette into a stereo FX system. oi.
STOP MAKING ME WANT A QPAS
I WILL NOT
I lost as well... @@JoeCS
I have the Qpas. I just ordered a Mimeophon today. This vid now make me want to get a Planar.
Biggest filter ever in the smallest case seriously usable. Thanks for making me feel better about my decisions :p
LOL any time

This is really wonderful and put a pleasant smile on my face first thing in the morning :)
lovely. i´m doing similar experiments with my qpas, sending it into the DLD, Desmodus Versio and Magneto. Added the Panharmonium lately and its magic.
Great to watch and read your process. QPAS and Mimephon on the bucket list now.
Inverted- Popes They’ll both be dynamite with your Morphagene!
Well this is just lovely
😊

@Howard Thaddeus It worked and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thanks so much, you saved my ass!
I hit like when you said you had to really get it to explain it. That made me smile. I really enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing it :)
the last patch when you patched the output to the frequency input sounded so so good!!
Yes more please. Perfect style.
Any idea if you could use both the mono 1u input tile and the mono 1u output tile with the built in quarter inch ports, or does it only have connections for one?
question about your case...do the modules flicker when you shut down...or does it just turn off. thanks
This was fantastic. Look forward to more.
Thanks very much!
this is very good!
very very nice video
Thanks! Love this video! Make more like this for sure. Even longer! Lol
lol! thank you for watching

the perpetual dilemma, isn't it?
@@JoeCS It never ends!

6:10 is that a cover? It’s eating me that I can’t recall it.
Is the noise coming from the Mimeophon?

Awesome sounds! Was on the fence about a QPAS and just pulled the trigger!
cool stuff!
nice!
Such a great video sound-wise, but unfortunate you are moving in front of the lighting a lot.
Yep. Didn't realize until I was editing the video. Thanks for watching.

uh oh. I've got another vid with a somewhat different configuration of this idea coming next week.
Joe C.S. Bring it on, I can take it.. I think.
