That’s a very nice gadget. I like the high and low combination cooking aspect. I heard the crispiness of the chicken. Yum. Thanks for sharing 🥰
Thanks Braz 💞
Doug! I've been trying to find an amazing all-in-one multi cooker for the past couple months. Your videos have helped me extremely! I've decided on this cooker because of the cooking surface and the impressive results. I can't wait to try it out. I got it for 150 at Walmart. I'm super excited!
Subscribed and I was so blown away by the results from the Speedi that I had to watch the video again!
🙌🏾
I got mine at kohl’s and paid 96 at Christmas !! What a steal I got on this ❤ can’t wait to use it ..
Ok, now I'm officially mad at you, Doug. Just kidding, maybe just kidding.😄
Your videos are the reason I have so many cooking gadgets. I don't need anymore, but gosh darn it, now I'm going to have to get this one too. We love your videos and cooking ideas, keep them coming. Can't wait for you to do a review on the Cosori Aeroblaze. It's our new fave for now. 👍
Just bought one of these over the foodie. I don’t have a lot of countertop space, and I don’t need a pressure cooker, because I don’t eat meat. I have kiddos and a busy schedule though; and you made those chicken thighs sound soooo good 😂. Thank you for the good review.
Doug you find the neatest gadgets & as usual the food looks delicious. Thanks for sharing with us. Blessings.
I would also add a small can of drained English peas and carrots to the rice as some veggies....looks delicious.
Thanks for the video. I actually ordered mine from Amazon. First cook was pasta, broccoli, and chicken. Was done in 12 minutes. Perfect cook.
💞❤️🙌🏾💪🏾
Hi Doug, thanks for demo. I need to see you cook a few more things. So far I still love my Foodie!
Well keep it locked cause MORE is coming
I just bought this for my husband for Christmas and I happened to see this so I can learn before I unbox. I can’t wait to use it! Thank You for posting!
I've had my speedi rapid cooker for about a month and it's amazing. Tried their recipes and they taste top notch.
This is a great video, I completely agree with you this is a fantastic product. My wife and I got one of these back in July, we use it at least a couple times a week, often more. As with a lot of the Ninja products there is a bit of a learning curve if you are blind or visually impaired which we are, I wish the thing would beep when you powered it on and off and also when navigating the menus, talking menus would be great but I know that's not happening. Nonetheless, once you figure the menus out it's pretty simple to use, the Speedi meal builder is a life saver and it is great to be able to just put everything in one pot and have it done in 20 minutes. Going to check out the rest of your Speedi videos.
Ninja surely stepped up their game with this machine! Great review and thanks Doug! Delicious! Can't wait for you to go off the cuff with it. 😋 😍💯
Pair this with their outdoor smoker grill and you have a complete tailgating party making BBQ system.
TY Doug! Love your new gadget and what you cooked in there. If I had a bigger home with larger kitchen I would buy them
Much love Tanya ❤️ thanks for all your support too 😘
Make room lol. I'm getting mine
That is a real nice gadget. Ninja is top dog in my book❤️
🙌🏾Thanks Vel 💞
Just bought one…so far…love it…thanks for the video…I will be making this tomorrow. ☺️
I picked one up using your link. Excited to give it a try!
🙌🏾❤️❤️💞🤗 THANKS!!
You won't regret it!!
I was wondering when you would review this one 😎 I have never done combo cook but this looks cool. I love onions like that too. 😋
💞
Wow! Thanks Doug I so enjoy your videos! First time I’ve ever seen this one. May be adding it to my collection of gadgets
Love it. Just got corsoir dual blaze go back for this
Looks yummy Doug. I’ll crack mine open but first I need to make room lol Thanks for sharing.
🤣U GOT THIS!!😉
All things Ninja! Go Ninja, go Ninja. 🙃
I wish I had room for yet another Ninja appliance. I love my Foodi Grill and Griddle and I use it a lot.
Thank you for showing us this product, I've never heard of it before. It looks easy to use and the food looks delicious.
🤗
Thank you for this video...I know now which new gadget I want to get!
Doug thanks for making these videos. You are a great host. Ninja needs to sponsor you, I bought the Speedo just because of your channel.
I thought I saw the bone in thighs to the left of the boneless thighs.
Thanks for the video!
It said boneless skin on.
💞❤️
I am loving your videos I got mine yesterday at Sam's Club 129.00 and it has an extra round pan. I am watching all your videos and love them
Great video. Being trying to choose a Ninja for months and after watching your video, I've decided this is the one for me. I hope this is available to purchase in the UK really soon. I'm so looking forward to seeing you do more combination/ full meal videos. You have a new subscriber.
Ps. Can I ask if the rice was quick cook rice, ie 10 mins or normal 30 min rice?
Thank you,
Diane, Belfast.
#ninjaspeedi
Looks like a keeper huh doug
Yes!!
If you don't like the chicken grease drops down onto your rice then place a piece of heavy duty aluminum foil big enough to cover the entire area underneath the rack with 1.5 inches side, just to ensure the grease catch and stay inside the aluminum foil. I saw this from other people who used this method....🙏🙏🙏🙏 Good luck.
They’re available on Amazon too.
Yup I mentioned that and even put the link in the description
@@COOKINGWITHDOUG HA ! I’m deaf as a doornail and didn’t hear it. Sorry !I get it honestly. My father cant hear squat either. *grin*
Excellent video as usual! Love the idea of 15 min meals. The thing with me is that I use the pressure cooker to make red beans and stews with tough cuts of meat. Is there a way to make them with this appliance?
Great demo Doug. Thank you.
Awesome video Doug you rock and roll!
🙌🏾
Great video. Thanks for sharing!
I knew you would do it., so glad you did. I love this machine, been using it everyday since i got it. Of course your video is awesome!!
Yeah...I think when I saw your post in my FB group I said I'm gonna have to get it now to support my peoples, but it was sold out on the Ninja site so I had to wait 🙌🏾💞
Thanks Doug Now I need it. Lol this is amazing.
Oh wowwwww!!!! I need this machine!!!
can you show how to cook frozen meat in the Ninja Speedi?
Good job, looks delicious!
Thanks K 💞
Thank you Doug - I love the ninja appliances
Thanks! Great video like usual, though I did see what I thought was a glitch in the matrix, lol
Lol sometimes I let my videos go live b4 they fully cleaned up lol
Very excited for this one. I've heard good things about it. Going to get 2 because I do a lot if meal prepping.
Nice machine. Food looks delicious as usual Doug 😋.
Thanks Tinz 💞
Thanks for sharing.
I just bought the Foodi with smart lid. I wish I had gotten this instead
Your foodie will do the same thing plus pressure cook
Have both.
Hi Doug love your videos. I just received my Ninja Speedi. I can't remove the condensation collector. They say to remove it to clean after use. Can you do a short video on removing it. Maybe it's just my 84 year old fingers. I appreciate it. I read the instructions but no can do. HELP
You’re good. I enjoy your videos. Richard in Dallas
Was there a time period from when you pressed start to when the timer started? Like how a pressure cooker needs to build up before the timer actually starts?
Yes in this mode it steams for 10minutes automatically then the countdown starts
Love your videos! Do you think I could get similar results using the foodi with a rack? Stick the rice in the bottom, chicken on the rack. You’d have to manually switch between steam and Aircrisp, but it seems in theory like it could work.
I think so too, follow me using steam and crisp
As you were scrolling through the proteins I saw one that read Boneless Skin-on Chicken Thighs. I wonder if that makes a difference in cook time vs. the Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs 🧐
I don't cook skinless, but let me know 🤷🏾♂️
Hi Doug thank you for another great video
Thanks
very nice got to get one............
I want one so badly but it isn’t available in Canada yet 😭.
I have been looking to replace our normal air fryer for something different. As soon as I seen this Ninja Speedi I knee this is what we are going to upgrade too. We are moving next week, so after we move in, we are going to have to get this. Nothing better than a quick healthy meal after work. I am very excited for this. Have you tried the sous vide out for it?
No..not gonna on this unit either
@@COOKINGWITHDOUG just curious, is there a reason? Just asking because we have a sous vide circulator that I was going to get of since this has a built in sous vide.
i would put some foil on top of the rice for the drippings
I just got mine and I love it!!!!!
Just ordered one! Can’t wait to get it!
Doug, I never heard of this product before thank you for the demonstration. Now can it do a pork chops and potatoes or a steak and potatoes or roast beef or roast pork? It would be interesting to know. And why aren't there any commercials on this Ninja? It looks to me like 👍 a winner 🏆. But I'll have to see what else it can do before I decide to buy. I have to many gadgets and not enough counter space. Keep up the good work 👏. 👏
Well crap....now I'm going to have to order one!!!
🙌🏾
any release for the European market planned?
Dunno 🤷🏾♂️
Hey Doug, thanks for the video! We eat a lot of the Rice-a-Roni pasta (boxed) with our proteins and veggies. It comes with microwave and stovetop instructions. Which would you use for this for a SpeediMeal? It's a 12 min microwave cook.
I'll do u better, next video I'll just use a boxed rice...in fact pick one for me to use in a reply and I'll pick it up 2day!
@@COOKINGWITHDOUG Rice-a-Roni Garlic and olive oil vermicelli is our favorite! We like that one because it DOESN'T require milk - just 2 tbsp butter and the powder packet. Thank you!!
There’s actually an option for using boxed rice. It’s a great product! Thanks Doug! :-)
Really enjoyed your video. I would like to know how to make Kraft Mac N Cheese at the bottom and Instant Potatoes. My right hand is Paralyzed so I’m trying to find easier ways to cook. I’m very new to my Air Fryer. Thank you for the great information. ❤️🤗
There's actually a recipe in the book to make boxed Mac n cheese in the bottom.
As an experiment try the steam crisp setting instead of doing a 2 step process.
Your wish is my command!!
Brilliant review ordered after this well done
Hi Doug
Looks good
Doug did you clean the two Pieces that came with the Ninja before you put your food? You didn’t rinse your race🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾 so did you clean that chicken? 🤦🏾🤦🏾👀👀🤔
OMG...go sit down somewhere
@@COOKINGWITHDOUG No you go and sit down somewhere! If you going to do review on things do it correctly, with your nasty ass food🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾
@@COOKINGWITHDOUG 🤣🤣🤣🤣
He prepped the unit according to the instructions before using it. So that would include his having to wash it. The chicken looks like he cleaned it before marinating them with his seasonings.
Wow! That is amazing!
They are still not released in Canada Yet.
Doug....if you had to choose between the latest round Foodi, the XL grill-griddle, or the Speedi...which one would you get and why? I have the OG foodie that's starting to act up so I'm looking for replacement. I mainly cook leg-thigh chicken quarters in a ying- yang combination... so I really want to get the most distance between the food and the cooking element to minimize splatter. Even though the open top griddle is a cool feature...the splatter distance is only mere inches ,...so I'm leaning towards the Speedi. I never once used the (missing) pressure cook function on my Foodi. You can tell shortcuts were taken in the Speedi design with mechanical features & push button controls, but it still looks well built... and I think the steam option that one has vs the grill really comes into play with its cooking prowess.
It should be crystal clear at this point the speedi is where it's at, last years models are in the past
@@COOKINGWITHDOUG That's what I thought-- there's a reason video after video of yours is using that device. They really hit a home run with this one-- changes the meal-prep game.
When you can get the thing for $120 at Bed Bath & Beyond with their coupons...its really as no-brainer as it gets
Excellent review Doug !
Where is thermometer on my new ninja smar
Wow Dougey, just watched your new video on the Ninja Possible Cooker… now maybe I should get this? I have the new Gill and Griddle and hate it so really want an air fryer and a brazier to make stuff like short ribs… this sounds better than Impossible, right? I don’t do much combo because try to limit carbs… thoughts?
If carbs your watching, this machine is not needed(no real need to combo cook)
Fantastic!
Great video! I hope you realized that you passed by bone-in chicken thighs on the recipe builder.
FALSE only boneless skin on or off...thanks
$160 at Costco online and you can return it anytime in case it goes bad.
Do you think this would work with frozen White Castle sliders since they are steamed ? I would like to be able to steam them at home to get the same fast food taste lol.
Yup..thats ez
At first I thought it was a toy the way it looks. Lol
🤣
Doug, I would love to do combo cooking and liked your video, however, here are my questions. If I am gluten free, can I still do combo cooking when gluten free pasta can only be cooked for a few minutes? I worry about it being overcooked and mushy with combo cooking in the Speedi. Your thoughts? Thanks and I appreciate your demo.
Yes...I've made gluten free in my Instant Pot and other pressure cookers and it just fine...SO YES :) Make pretend the bottom row is a rice cooker but like 5min faster
Great video!
One quick question Doug, is that device as loud as it sounds?
It's not quite
Which would you choose between this and the foodi pressure cooker/ air fryer 14 in 1?
This is the latest and greatest from Ninja...all eyes are on this machine at the moment
You can get it at HS N for 179
Keep in mind this video was done Aug of 2022 so yeah it should be reductions at this point and hopefully this Aug Ninja will upgrade this model
$119 at Costco 3/23. 50% less.
I just got mine delivered today and I was wondering did you do a burn off before you did first cook?
Yes...follow the manual
Where is therm
Can you make litle cake?
I don't make cakes period, but I've seen people in my group make them...but honestly I wouldn't buy this for making a cake tho
@@COOKINGWITHDOUG thanks ...
Watching u for 1x enjoy it like n subscribe! Thanks for informative information 👍 I got to get one 👍
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Just another gadget to clutter up the kitchen
Too much money
