We definitely dont need another god damn disgaea RPG global fk-fest again, content accelerated by what felt like double it should of been and events not properly balanced to match such a rush and having multiple overlapping banners and just headache inducers overall.
That or they could temporarily lower the banner costs on P:GR from say, 60 char, 30 weapon, 20 cub by a good 10 pulls and up the rates if they push the cycle down to 4 weeks or even 3 weeks per version to `catch things up`. I would say make character banners 40 pulls, weapons 20 pulls and cubs 10 pulls could be a good condenser for any S rank banners since... we got 7 S-rank banners (yes including Qu empress up to Ishmael) and then we have the 3 A ranks, already apparently we are at a 10 month gap though if i remember correctly, Lilith is next up, but she is gonna be a free dark amplifier just like Selena (ironically), so that means 11 month gap. At best if its typically 5 weeks per version that means 50~55 weeks or around 350 to 400 days or still in a year period by the `normal speed. If they wanna get us up to say, ishmael by 2025, the best spot would probably be the half way point so likely if they havent stated it yet, i am gonna surmise 3~4 weeks, which would likely still put us around June to August probably. Honestly im gonna say shrinking each version down to 3 weeks, drastically up the rewards and cut down the hard pity counters during that 5~6 month period would probably be the most stable decision. Because unless they wanna overhaul the EFF out of entire events/content to massively cut down the grind on them, straight up double some rewards and just hand out loads of particular rewards for free, they got alot todo if they wanna shrink the global content rush any further then 5~6 months from content that was originally 10~11 months in length.

I think the main reason they doing this is because of the dmc collab. Capcom has been known to be strict with collabs. They probably only gave kuro a certain timeframe where theyd be able to use their characters and stuff and since global is a year behind they need it to catch up for the collab. Since it their biggest collab it makes sense why theyd go this far for it since pgr and alot of their characters are heavily inspired by dmc and final fantasy characters which kuro themselves full acknowledged
Actually Solon did a presentation on the benefits of Wuwa having a simultaneous release. Basically he said feedback is way harder to gauge when you have versions so apart from each other. I think that’s why they are doing this in all fairness
Dear Kuro, In my opinion, the best and fair way to compensate players is to compute how much BC, WZ coins, vouchers, PPC skulls, Norman rewards, HT and HARMO mats, and serum packs in total, a F2P player would earn if he played every day and completed weeklies/dailies if the global schedule remained unchanged. Then deduct from this total, the earnings for the shortened patch. Compensation should be computed and released on a per patch basis. Further, a safe assumption to make is Hero WZ retainer and 1-5% Ult PPC. Full clears of all Norman and Clash Reflections. Rewards from limited time events can remain as they are, and not included in the calculation of compensation every patch. Thank you!
Then for spenders, the Monthly Pass A and C rewards can be "compressed", meaning more BC per day within a shorter amount of time. (But same total BC in the end)

Rex, tysm for emphasizing to them how important the BC compensation is to majority of players. That is literally the only issue I have with this project. Like I am not beggar, I did spend 100$ on PGR so far to buy Skin and Monthly Pass. My budget wont be able to afford those new skins/chars if they are actually compensate us in an unfair amount. Not only that I also spend on Wuwa as well. P.s: I hope they are fair and square and generous with the compensation aspect going forward❤❤❤
As long as Kuro provides the amount of BC and many other currencies worth the amount of the gap patches, then I will be fine with it. Let's say for example, the patch gaps amount is 6 patches. And on each patch, the amount of BC gained from daily grind and events are 5000 BC. The reward must be 6 x 5000, which is 30000 BC. This also includes the other currencies as well. I just pulled Uncle with full expectations that I will have enough for Hanying, Lucia, Nanami, and the new Selena. I will be super mad if Kuro only give 2500 ticket for the full synchronization.
Alot has to be factored in really: 1. Daily login BC for each day of doing dailies plus the amount for each week`s BC. 2. The Tickets one would get for daily login rewards, including operation guardians. 3. All the god damn resources from various pieces of content including norman warfare, That weapon harmonization content, the resource farming stages and moar. 4. All the skulls from paincage, all the warzone credits for warzone. 5. Guild expedition and Guild battle content, especially the stamps, DEFINITELY THE GOD DAMN STAMPS. 6. All the extra tickets and BC gains from story mode stages, limited time event content and moar. 7. All the `subscription package and Battle pass centric resources, especially the daily login bonus BC and bonus Event cards from Rainbow card purchases. 8. The massive amount of sink necessary for each respective banner when you account for back to back S rank ones that also have cubs and weapons one has to pick up. 9. All those weekly/monthly reset type currencies one would scalp up to get them memory resonators, level up resources, hyper tune resources and moar. Honestly if they wanna do TWO versions at the same time in the standard something 5 week period, they would need to just have all the event content runs together and also maybe increase the event specific rewards by a good 1.5x and have all the single version stuff like login rewards, warzone and pain cage, guild battle, norman warfare and dispatch and moar just straight up get doubled on its rewards. But also do things like drastically cut down the stamina cost of those double overlaying events to make up for it... And thar is no way in hell they can triple layer 3 versions worth of content without some MASSIVE increases in the goods then simply just tripling the non event specific stuff and having all versions worth of event specific content entact but doubled as a balancing factor... Hell, even Another eden when it decided to accelerate its content to sync its servers showed it was being massively bad at giving enough stuff to compensate... never the less, Kurogames best approach better be just shrinking each version by about 1~2 weeks (3 weeks if it was originally 4 weeks long and 4 weeks if it was 5 weeks long originally) and giving alot of bonus rewards and trimming the hard pity down on all the banners if they wanna take a minimalist approach without turning it into hyper burn out city.

I'm pessimistic about this. I don't mind the grind if Kuro want to compress the content. But again, it's not as simple as that, as they need to take into account the "time-gated resources" such as Stamina, Dailies, Weeklies, etc over said skipped time in order to synchronize the game. I'd like to see more of the detailed plans which they promised to give before any further opinions.
@@BladeSerphAgree with most of what you wrote but the point on Story and Events is kinda pointless, they would basically be running 2 to 3 event pages at once(or you finish one to access the Next) so those Events Stories included would still have the same exact rewards so nothing really changes there, Then on Reducing the Banner Pity, that would be amazing but that's for sure Never going to happen as it would confuse Newer players and create controversy when the time comes to change the Banner back due to the Goal of catching up being reached, also if Kuro did all the things you stated or even Half of them, then there would be no need for the Banner suggestion at All
This is great from a pratical perspective, but we better get like a 100K BC cause, the nicest thing about PGR is beeing able to get all characters being F2P. I really REALLY hope they take that into consideration

You can't even get all the characters in the current game as f2p, unless you want to brick your account. For someone starting today it's impossible to get all the characters and they will have to focus only on the new S ranks if they wanna start doing Ultimate PPC or Norman within a year

Finally, I have been asking Kuro in surveys about this matter for a year. I am F2P and I have no problem with this, and I trust Kuro. Now I will be able to enjoy the things that happen on the Chinese server at the same time after this plan is completed.
I played Magia Record EN ver. before (it died) and it also had an accelerated schedule. The main concern will most definitely be having less gems saved up for each banner, for whales this also means less time to save money for each banner.
With 7 S ranks and 3 A ranks to go thru, i expect them to double the rewards(increasing based on how many versions they expedite) and likely cut the hard pity down ALOT for banners temporarily because alot of resources while taking into account for daily and weekly acquired resources have to also be taken into account. Disgaea RPG global literally got fk`d over hard because of its `accelerated schedule` and they didnt bother to do much to extensively cut down its grind but instead made it so damn worst with events not balanced to match the expedited schedule and had multiple versions worth of content jammed into one.
Been saying, if Global were to accelerate, it's bad for business for them and us. However, if they thoroughly compensate us, then I'm fine with it. Exact numbers, especially if they're low spenders. Meh, I'll see how it goes. I'm not thrilled about it, but it's their game.
I'm excited, I'll trust Kuro to adjust compensation as well (BC, skulls, harmo mats, etc.) when needed so long as people leave proper feedback. DMC dropping on all servers at the same time will be so hype too
Me personally i never minded the wait i really enjoyed having Clairvoyance EX but a 9 patch leap in under a year is insane not even just for rewards but time to play and enjoy the patch idk well see how it pans out
Appreciate you stressing that compensation was gonna be a big deal for global players. I'm cautious about this because there's just too much we dont know about yet (details mostly). It's gonna be a very delicate balance to maintain. I hope Kuro can prove themselves adept at managing this as well as I hope they can.

If they would compensate weekly and daily BC income, that's good, but still, knowing their previous neglect to compensate, even through it was only 10-15% per patch, it's hard to believe that it will be handled well.
We already get less BC currently from the original launch "expedited" schedule, you had no other choice but to buy the monthly pack to keep up per patch for the character. I will remain pessimistic in regards to the "compensation." Unless it's 1:1 or better yet, 1:1 with all we have lost since launch. They already tried this, and have shown they don't care in the past. We continued to get broken patches with the same bugs as the Chinese version, what confidence do we have that they will adjust patches for this? Not to mention, how are battle passes, monthly passes, packs etc. Going to work now? This will be interesting.
I've genuinely been thinking to myself about the likelihood of this happening. I expected it to happen slightly different and a bit slower, but im excited for this. And thanks for advocating for us glabal players rex
If this happen most likely we might see more S rank and A rank event mash ups. It'll be similar to Selena transcendent event where wanshi got mashed up alongside her.
yeah exactly its not just the bc, i hope they compensate for everything otherwise its gonna be really rough for us, between hanying and selena there are 7 s ranks and only 1 a rank (although wanshi and lilith are free the point still stands), it will literally be impossible to have enough time to build characters if they dont compensate us properly..
And same for the other events as well, they will combine all three events in one patch by extending the patch to 6 weeks, with all the characters launched in those 3 patches
This is big, hope they adjust rewards systems for the transition period. Thats coming from the dolphin, I'm ok with spending in PGR but would prefer to still have ability to pull all S ranks with the monthly pass
1:46 Azur Lane EN is also a good example. It was almost a year behind JP (and 2 months from CN.). I think it only caught up to JP and CN by 2019 or 2020, since then CN, JP, and EN all have the same Event time frame.
Sounds good.. and it may address my biggest problem with PGR (besides the PC Client not full screening to my 3440x1440 monitor natively), which is I never have enough BC to get any of the characters I want. Saving for months and skipping some just to not have enough to get the new character feels so bad. With this increased compensation I "hope" to be able to get a few good characters along the way. (I am re-installing PGR as I type this to get ready for the year to come). We shall see. Anyway, thanks for letting us know, good video!
Nice news as long as the overall resources income is at least 90% of what's supposed to be the full version one. Hope they take your advice to heart kekw.
The idea is really great on paper, but it’s gonna be extremely difficult and important to take into consideration all the different aspects that will be altered compared to the “normal” flow of the game. Just off the top of my head: •Limited events. There either will be so many of them if Kuro is jamming 2-3 patches into one, that you’ll literally have to spend hours every day going through them out of FOMO that it may cause a severe burnout, or, and this is the direction I assume they would attempt to take, most of the events will either be cut out completely or have reduced time frame. In this case, again, potentially missing out on collectibles and rewards completely, and severe FOMO in case of shortened duration. • Character currencies. And I mean, ALL of them, not just BC. BC, memory upgrades, weapon upgrades, resonance shards and memory sticks, skulls, vouchers, harmonization and hypertune materials, Norman ores, hell, even CUB upgrade materials and guild points. There are probably a lot more things that need addressing, can’t recall them all straight away. • RC and gacha coatings. And this one is pretty damn important. I won’t talk for the entire community, but even to me it seems obvious that with the sped up pacing, there may be severe issues with the paid shop and gacha skins acquisition.Long story short, this will cause even more FOMO for people who are not spending much on the game, and with increased schedule, they will miss out on much more things than they would with the normal flow of the patches. • Tight scheduling. Not that important to the players if everything will be addressed correctly, but can be pretty damn important if anything goes off the rails. Not to scold Kuro, but so far I feel we’ve been following the pattern of “Roll out patches on schedule, generously apologize later” type of behavior every time there’s something completely new and important they’re trying out. And I doubt there was anything as grandiose and important as the patch compression so far. The fact that they’ll have to jam several of them together and address issues of each of them ON TOP of all the issues that may be caused by the compression itself, over the span of next year or something, means those fellas would have to be working their butts off constantly. And I’m worried that it might affect the content quality. And those are just the things off the top of my head. There are much more things that need to be addressed besides those few I skimmed through already, which actually have much more depth behind them as well. TL;DR: I want to have another reason to meme about “Devs listened” when all of this is over. Just don’t work too hard the asses off your three interns assigned to patch support, Kuro, please.
Damn, 3 construct - 1 patch? I swear if they not give a full explain how this work, this wont be a drama like 1st day of the game, it will be a RIOT. Imagine i have to buy 3 BPass and 3 MPass / 1 patch in order to get all character and their signature? not to mention MAYBE, just MAYBE Hanying, Wanshi and Lucia - 3 forking meta characters appear together in 1 patch. I highly doubt that's the reason. If that was the case, wouldn't a simultaneous release of the Collab be easier than completely rushing every content? You could argue that it may result in insane powercreep but even that is much easier to deal with (just tweak the numbers and fix it once Global reaches the same version it was released in CN) than completely changing their schedule for everything, not just Global but also for KR, JP and Taiwan. Also from what I've read in another comment, there was a Monster Hunter Collab in Arknights CN that the Global version eventually got after 6 months so there's at least one case to disprove your speculations.
Very worried about this tbh. I’ve never had a game trying to rush Global be a good thing, and *this* much content for such a long period, it is hard to see this as a positive for f2p, whales or anyone in between.
for me it's a very possitive updates thos i do have some concern about saving enough BC and Tickets for my Beloved Characters!! the other games Synchronization plans that has gone wrong is Blue Archive . they went with it not as fast but without any compensation ppl just hated it. i think 2 patch into one is appropriate but 3 patches hmmmm that i'm not sure lmao.
I'm unhappy because I saved and pulled for SSS Uncle expecting him to last a whole 10 patches in void warzone, but now this investment has been abruptly cut in half. If I had known that from the start, I would have only SSed him and instead got Lucia/Nanami/Ishmael's respective SS3.
its a high risk high reward situation they placed themselves in, if the rewards compensations are mediocre alot of people will leave since theyll just be too overwhelmed and with little amounts to compensate, but damn if the rewards are juicy, yeah that will be insane for global
Straight up Compensation of all rewards is impossible. Every players f2p or not is different in playstyle. Some of them only care about weekly and some dont even bother trying for warzone and ppc good rewards. The only way to make everything works is, make the two patch combine into one with two banner running back to back , each combine patch will last 6 weeks , double all the rewards you get from everything and everywhere , problem solve.
It’s not only the BC compensation, honestly. It’s materials and currencies as well. While many of us have nearly endless progression materials, a majority don’t, and global will be far behind CN in terms or character progression.
It's not good at all lol. I always liked that corpo talk: "We are aware some skks feel bad because they don't experience new content at the same time as cn". No, ofc its not because we hate that global can plan ahead and decide who to invest in and thus spend less. Anyway, i really don't expect kuro interns to manually calculate every bc/event reward we lose and give rewards accordingly. Why would they do it for like 10% of the playerbase while potentially risking CN uproar because of "special global treatment"? What about seasonal events and sales too? I think it's probably gonna be some static compensation similar to what we got today. Do you guys remember the horrible global launch? Karen skin gacha, nana skin instead of bcs, monthly pass prices etc etc? Do you remember no compensation at all for faster overall patches and less stuff like normans? Or how they transfer all CN bugs to global version as is? Humans really forget things fast. Yea, i'll be really happy to be proven wrong, but it's Kuro, ofc there will be screwups here and there. Static compensation will hurt whales the most, and it's them who keep the servers alive in global. Well, i guess time will tell if it's gonna be enough to kill global as a whole, hopefully not.
thats great, i always felt the 1 year gap ws too big, specially since we only get 1 S rank per patch. the 6 month gap of BA is still tolerable but 1 year was too much. Waiting for Alpha CW was PAIN.

They better give us an adequate amount of BC too. The shorter patches compare to CN counterparts really limit some time-gated materials (ie ppc skull, weap harmo material and ofc BC). It is just my wishful thinking but hey it might be possible for us to get more free gacha from Kuro.
this can be either very good or bad depending on how kuro handles compensation. I know they're giving out compensation, the real question is if its 1 to 1. there's gonna be backlash if people can't save up the usual amount of pulls from regular version updates and/or enough ppc skulls as well as mats for harmonization, resonance and hypertune, etc. due to the accelerated updates. tl;dr: as long as we still get the same amount of stuff, there should be little to no issue(maybe besides skin collectors).
This is going to be pretty crucial for Global players. It will make or break the game entirely based on whether we can catch up and pull characters with F2P or if it's going to become whale exclusive.
It's not just the compensation that has me worried, it's also how much story they're going to be releasing that I'll have to stay on top of. A full year of cramming and really having to stay on top of things seems like a lot. Also I don't see us catching up as purely a good thing, right now we can plan our pulls better since we have more information. I would rather have that than get the story the same day as CN. No clue if I'm in the minority with that or not though.
Hopefully they don't just release s ranks every patch. Only way properly compensate players if they do that is to double the amount of BC we get each patch
Speeding it up wouldn't mean S rank every update since that means they'd have to do two updates worth in a single update (as characters are tied to events/story updates). It would mean reducing the gap between the updates. Edit: My mistake. It is multiple. Leaving comment for clarity.

We will have to see how much they're going to give since the website states that they are going to take into account version resources and paid content, and it would be relatively easy to see if they give us enough or not for the amount of patches we're missing. Since they said 2-3 updates within a single patch, that does mean we will have updates with 2-3 S ranks within a single update next year though, as the only A ranks we don't have in Global are Teddy, Yata, and Bridget.

I don't really mind it but they mustn't miss any compensations because that's a whole year worth of rewards and BC, at least they can do is shortening the duration of a patch (to 4 or 3 weeks) and raising its rewards, we know that nobody wants to get the least amount of rewards just because they miscalculated the compensation. Rex, tysm for emphasizing to them how important the BC compensation is to majority of players. That is literally the only issue I have with this project. Like I am not beggar, I did spend 100$ on PGR so far to buy Skin and Monthly Pass. My budget wont be able to afford those new skins/chars if they are actually compensate us in an unfair amount. Not only that I also spend on Wuwa as well.
P.s: I hope they are fair and square and generous with the compensation aspect going forward❤❤❤

As long as Kuro provides the amount of BC and many other currencies worth the amount of the gap patches, then I will be fine with it.
Let's say for example, the patch gaps amount is 6 patches. And on each patch, the amount of BC gained from daily grind and events are 5000 BC. The reward must be 6 x 5000, which is 30000 BC. This also includes the other currencies as well.
I just pulled Uncle with full expectations that I will have enough for Hanying, Lucia, Nanami, and the new Selena. I will be super mad if Kuro only give 2500 ticket for the full synchronization.

Alot has to be factored in really:
1. Daily login BC for each day of doing dailies plus the amount for each week`s BC.
2. The Tickets one would get for daily login rewards, including operation guardians.
3. All the god damn resources from various pieces of content including norman warfare, That weapon harmonization content, the resource farming stages and moar.
4. All the skulls from paincage, all the warzone credits for warzone.
5. Guild expedition and Guild battle content, especially the stamps, DEFINITELY THE GOD DAMN STAMPS.
6. All the extra tickets and BC gains from story mode stages, limited time event content and moar.
7. All the `subscription package and Battle pass centric resources, especially the daily login bonus BC and bonus Event cards from Rainbow card purchases.
8. The massive amount of sink necessary for each respective banner when you account for back to back S rank ones that also have cubs and weapons one has to pick up.
9. All those weekly/monthly reset type currencies one would scalp up to get them memory resonators, level up resources, hyper tune resources and moar.
Honestly if they wanna do TWO versions at the same time in the standard something 5 week period, they would need to just have all the event content runs together and also maybe increase the event specific rewards by a good 1.5x and have all the single version stuff like login rewards, warzone and pain cage, guild battle, norman warfare and dispatch and moar just straight up get doubled on its rewards.
But also do things like drastically cut down the stamina cost of those double overlaying events to make up for it...
And thar is no way in hell they can triple layer 3 versions worth of content without some MASSIVE increases in the goods then simply just tripling the non event specific stuff and having all versions worth of event specific content entact but doubled as a balancing factor...
Hell, even Another eden when it decided to accelerate its content to sync its servers showed it was being massively bad at giving enough stuff to compensate...
never the less, Kurogames best approach better be just shrinking each version by about 1~2 weeks (3 weeks if it was originally 4 weeks long and 4 weeks if it was 5 weeks long originally) and giving alot of bonus rewards and trimming the hard pity down on all the banners if they wanna take a minimalist approach without turning it into hyper burn out city.

But yes, what you said are the main points. I'm pessimistic about this. I don't mind the grind if Kuro want to compress the content. But again, it's not as simple as that, as they need to take into account the "time-gated resources" such as Stamina, Dailies, Weeklies, etc over said skipped time in order to synchronize the game.
I'd like to see more of the detailed plans which they promised to give before any further opinions.
@@BladeSerphAgree with most of what you wrote but the point on Story and Events is kinda pointless, they would basically be running 2 to 3 event pages at once(or you finish one to access the Next) so those Events Stories included would still have the same exact rewards so nothing really changes there, Then on Reducing the Banner Pity, that would be amazing but that's for sure Never going to happen as it would confuse Newer players and create controversy when the time comes to change the Banner back due to the Goal of catching up being reached, also if Kuro did all the things you stated or even Half of them, then there would be no need for the Banner suggestion at All

This is great from a pratical perspective, but we better get like a 100K BC cause, the nicest thing about PGR is beeing able to get all characters being F2P. I really REALLY hope they take that into consideration

You can't even get all the characters in the current game as f2p, unless you want to brick your account. For someone starting today it's impossible to get all the characters and they will have to focus only on the new S ranks if they wanna start doing Ultimate PPC or Norman within a year

Finally, I have been asking Kuro in surveys about this matter for a year. I am F2P and I have no problem with this, and I trust Kuro. Now I will be able to enjoy the things that happen on the Chinese server at the same time after this plan is completed.
I played Magia Record EN ver. before (it died) and it also had an accelerated schedule. The main concern will most definitely be having less gems saved up for each banner, for whales this also means less time to save money for each banner.
With 7 S ranks and 3 A ranks to go thru, i expect them to double the rewards(increasing based on how many versions they expedite) and likely cut the hard pity down ALOT for banners temporarily because alot of resources while taking into account for daily and weekly acquired resources have to also be taken into account.
Disgaea RPG global literally got fk`d over hard because of its `accelerated schedule` and they didnt bother to do much to extensively cut down its grind but instead made it so damn worst with events not balanced to match the expedited schedule and had multiple versions worth of content jammed into one.
Been saying, if Global were to accelerate, it's bad for business for them and us. However, if they thoroughly compensate us, then I'm fine with it. Exact numbers, especially if they're low spenders.
Meh, I'll see how it goes. I'm not thrilled about it, but it's their game.

If they would compensate weekly and daily BC income, that's good, but still, knowing their previous neglect to compensate, even through it was only 10-15% per patch, it's hard to believe that it will be handled well.

We already get less BC currently from the original launch "expedited" schedule, you had no other choice but to buy the monthly pack to keep up per patch for the character. I will remain pessimistic in regards to the "compensation." Unless it's 1:1 or better yet, 1:1 with all we have lost since launch. They already tried this, and have shown they don't care in the past. We continued to get broken patches with the same bugs as the Chinese version, what confidence do we have that they will adjust patches for this?
Not to mention, how are battle passes, monthly passes, packs etc. Going to work now? This will be interesting.

yeah exactly its not just the bc, i hope they compensate for everything otherwise its gonna be really rough for us, between hanying and selena there are 7 s ranks and only 1 a rank (although wanshi and lilith are free the point still stands), it will literally be impossible to have enough time to build characters if they dont compensate us properly..
They are probably gonna double or triple the amount for each week. You know if they add 3 patch in one, they will triple the amount of weekly events!!

This is big, hope they adjust rewards systems for the transition period. Thats coming from the dolphin, I'm ok with spending in PGR but would prefer to still have ability to pull all S ranks with the monthly pass
1:46 Azur Lane EN is also a good example. It was almost a year behind JP (and 2 months from CN.). I think it only caught up to JP and CN by 2019 or 2020, since then CN, JP, and EN all have the same Event time frame.

Sounds good.. and it may address my biggest problem with PGR (besides the PC Client not full screening to my 3440x1440 monitor natively), which is I never have enough BC to get any of the characters I want. Saving for months and skipping some just to not have enough to get the new character feels so bad.
With this increased compensation I "hope" to be able to get a few good characters along the way. (I am re-installing PGR as I type this to get ready for the year to come). We shall see.

The idea is really great on paper, but it’s gonna be extremely difficult and important to take into consideration all the different aspects that will be altered compared to the “normal” flow of the game. Just off the top of my head:
•Limited events. There either will be so many of them if Kuro is jamming 2-3 patches into one, that you’ll literally have to spend hours every day going through them out of FOMO that it may cause a severe burnout, or, and this is the direction I assume they would attempt to take, most of the events will either be cut out completely or have reduced time frame. In this case, again, potentially missing out on collectibles and rewards completely, and severe FOMO in case of shortened duration.
• Character currencies. And I mean, ALL of them, not just BC. BC, memory upgrades, weapon upgrades, resonance shards and memory sticks, skulls, vouchers, harmonization and hypertune materials, Norman ores, hell, even CUB upgrade materials and guild points. There are probably a lot more things that need addressing, can’t recall them all straight away.
• RC and gacha coatings. And this one is pretty damn important. I won’t talk for the entire community, but even to me it seems obvious that with the sped up pacing, there may be severe issues with the paid shop and gacha skins acquisition.Long story short, this will cause even more FOMO for people who are not spending much on the game, and with increased schedule, they will miss out on much more things than they would with the normal flow of the patches.
• Tight scheduling. Not that important to the players if everything will be addressed correctly, but can be pretty damn important if anything goes off the rails. Not to scold Kuro, but so far I feel we’ve been following the pattern of “Roll out patches on schedule, generously apologize later” type of behavior every time there’s something completely new and important they’re trying out. And I doubt there was anything as grandiose and important as the patch compression so far. The fact that they’ll have to jam several of them together and address issues of each of them ON TOP of all the issues that may be caused by the compression itself, over the span of next year or something, means those fellas would have to be working their butts off constantly. And I’m worried that it might affect the content quality.
And those are just the things off the top of my head. There are much more things that need to be addressed besides those few I skimmed through already, which actually have much more depth behind them as well.
TL;DR: I want to have another reason to meme about “Devs listened” when all of this is over. Just don’t work too hard the asses off your three interns assigned to patch support, Kuro, please.

E: 3:00 There's not gonna be any proof obviously, but Capcom is always really infamous about their collabs so it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest that the DMC5 collab is *why* a fire got lit under kuro to actually catch everyone up. I could easily see Capcom going "you get *one* window for our collab, make it work."
I highly doubt that's the reason. If that was the case, wouldn't a simultaneous release of the Collab be easier than completely rushing every content? You could argue that it may result in insane powercreep but even that is much easier to deal with (just tweak the numbers and fix it once Global reaches the same version it was released in CN) than completely changing their schedule for everything, not just Global but also for KR, JP and Taiwan.
Also from what I've read in another comment, there was a Monster Hunter Collab in Arknights CN that the Global version eventually got after 6 months so there's at least one case to disprove your speculations.

the other games Synchronization plans that has gone wrong is Blue Archive . they went with it not as fast but without any compensation ppl just hated it.

I'm unhappy because I saved and pulled for SSS Uncle expecting him to last a whole 10 patches in void warzone, but now this investment has been abruptly cut in half. If I had known that from the start, I would have only SSed him and instead got Lucia/Nanami/Ishmael's respective SS3.
its a high risk high reward situation they placed themselves in, if the rewards compensations are mediocre alot of people will leave since theyll just be too overwhelmed and with little amounts to compensate, but damn if the rewards are juicy, yeah that will be insane for global

Straight up Compensation of all rewards is impossible. Every players f2p or not is different in playstyle. Some of them only care about weekly and some dont even bother trying for warzone and ppc good rewards.
The only way to make everything works is, make the two patch combine into one with two banner running back to back , each combine patch will last 6 weeks , double all the rewards you get from everything and everywhere , problem solve.
It’s not only the BC compensation, honestly. It’s materials and currencies as well. While many of us have nearly endless progression materials, a majority don’t, and global will be far behind CN in terms or character progression.
It's not good at all lol. I always liked that corpo talk: "We are aware some skks feel bad because they don't experience new content at the same time as cn". No, ofc its not because we hate that global can plan ahead and decide who to invest in and thus spend less.
Anyway, i really don't expect kuro interns to manually calculate every bc/event reward we lose and give rewards accordingly. Why would they do it for like 10% of the playerbase while potentially risking CN uproar because of "special global treatment"? What about seasonal events and sales too? I think it's probably gonna be some static compensation similar to what we got today. Do you guys remember the horrible global launch? Karen skin gacha, nana skin instead of bcs, monthly pass prices etc etc? Do you remember no compensation at all for faster overall patches and less stuff like normans? Or how they transfer all CN bugs to global version as is? Humans really forget things fast.
Yea, i'll be really happy to be proven wrong, but it's Kuro, ofc there will be screwups here and there. Static compensation will hurt whales the most, and it's them who keep the servers alive in global. Well, i guess time will tell if it's gonna be enough to kill global as a whole, hopefully not.

This is very very good for me because I quit PGR 4 times now because of how long the wait is between patches.
thats great, i always felt the 1 year gap ws too big, specially since we only get 1 S rank per patch. the 6 month gap of BA is still tolerable but 1 year was too much. Waiting for Alpha CW was PAIN.
my main concern is the dailies/weeklies total
shortening the content delivery without having the weeks to stock up would be a problem even with sped up rewards
They better give us an adequate amount of BC too. The shorter patches compare to CN counterparts really limit some time-gated materials (ie ppc skull, weap harmo material and ofc BC). It is just my wishful thinking but hey it might be possible for us to get more free gacha from Kuro.

Them doing this is pretty surprising. Having synchronized versions are better for the game's future so this is good news.

I know they're giving out compensation, the real question is if its 1 to 1. there's gonna be backlash if people can't save up the usual amount of pulls from regular version updates and/or enough ppc skulls as well as mats for harmonization, resonance and hypertune, etc. due to the accelerated updates.
tl;dr: as long as we still get the same amount of stuff, there should be little to no issue(maybe besides skin collectors).
This is going to be pretty crucial for Global players. It will make or break the game entirely based on whether we can catch up and pull characters with F2P or if it's going to become whale exclusive.
It's not just the compensation that has me worried, it's also how much story they're going to be releasing that I'll have to stay on top of. A full year of cramming and really having to stay on top of things seems like a lot.
Also I don't see us catching up as purely a good thing, right now we can plan our pulls better since we have more information. I would rather have that than get the story the same day as CN. No clue if I'm in the minority with that or not though.
Hopefully they don't just release s ranks every patch. Only way properly compensate players if they do that is to double the amount of BC we get each patch
Speeding it up wouldn't mean S rank every update since that means they'd have to do two updates worth in a single update (as characters are tied to events/story updates).
It would mean reducing the gap between the updates.

We will have to see how much they're going to give since the website states that they are going to take into account version resources and paid content, and it would be relatively easy to see if they give us enough or not for the amount of patches we're missing.
Since they said 2-3 updates within a single patch, that does mean we will have updates with 2-3 S ranks within a single update next year though, as the only A ranks we don't have in Global are Teddy, Yata, and Bridget.
