35:50 I have a story similar to but different from the prank idea. It was a very good coincidence. Back when I was in Boy Scouts, I went on a three day hiking trip with my troop. This clearing had grass that was around 4 feet tall. The fog snaked through the grass and obscured the far end of the clearing. The moonlight illuminated, at the very edge of the clearing, and old windmill. It wailed as the gentle wind blew through the valley. The scene look straight out of a horror move. So like the normal people we were, we left and headed back for the correct path. It was a fun memory to look back on. It was the perfect combination of scenarios to make truly eerie sight and on I will remember for a life time. How this relates to the prank? Who the hell put a windmill in the middle of a forest!?
Ever since I watched your first CSPPI streams and you encountered the screaming shadow ghost (and later the cursed basement demon), I've been utterly hooked on this game. I'm probably more hyped about this than any other ghost hunting game, including the upcoming Custom Difficulty, progression rework and Horror 2.0 for Phasmo. There's just something about a story-driven ghost hunting game that scratches an itch I didn't know I had. I know it's completely outside of the realm of possibility for this one-man dev team at this point in time, but it would be incredibly cool if they could add a second playable investigator with a somewhat more fearful personality to contrast Conrad's absolute lack of fear. That would make it quite interesting to go back to ghosts you've already investigated to see what kind of new responses and interactions you could get with a new investigator. It would also be super cool if, as part of the pre-investigation research, you could call/visit the families/clients to learn more about their paranormal experiences directly from them, and maybe ask questions that could help you find points of interest during the investigations that you might otherwise overlook. Really, the sky's the limit with this game. Super-duper excited to see where it goes next, especially with this new open world format.
Correction, we are a 2 man dev team ;) Your multiple character choice is a great idea and something on our mondo list of design projects. Thanks for the support! Happy Ghost Hunting!
At 27:08 look at the top right corner of the screen in the light in front of the church. I think there is a shadow that quickly goes through the light. Judging from it's size and shape, its not a car. Slow the video down or go frame by frame and you'll see it.
hard to make a game scary when the character can't die in some way, but they did it. This game looks fun and spooky, would love to see how something like this would do on VR.
I’m glad you finally realized there was more to the map. I think it’s a really cool idea and I hope they do add cameras and a post-investigation system.
I don't think this approach should be taken for houses, despite my love for it on this map. Imagine walking into your house and there is just some guy in there with an EMF in there like "Oh hello! I just broke in to look for ghosts." doesn't happen. Should stick with the old approach on the houses but like maps like this for like a forest, the lighthouse seems like a prime candidate, etc, would be amazing.
An open world Ghost Hunting game would be interesting. Having like 30 homes, some are Haunted, some are not, some are safe, some are dangerous, and you have to investigate and guess which houses are haunted, and not just that, but there is a list of ghosts and you got to guess what which ghost is in which haunted houses. And the hauntings have to be subtle enough that the normal homes could be considered haunted too unless paying attention. That would be very interesting.
I absolutely adore this game ❤️❤️❤️ It’s definitely quickly becoming one of my favorite games. It has so much potential, basically endless potential. I love that I know I’m not going to die, I know the ghost won’t hurt me, and yet I’m completely on edge the entire time. I was on the fence about it at first tbh but that didn’t last long at all. It’s like, I kinda questioned its replayability when I first saw it, but each ghost has so much personality that even playing the same house and same ghost feels like a totally different ghost. I’ve never been so excited and fascinated to see what’s to come as I am with this game. My excitement for the future of Phasmo and for the release of The Hauntings and this game are all pretty much the same ( my excitement not the actual games) This genre is really blowing up and doing amazing things and I couldn’t be happier. Phasmo and the genre rekindled my love of gaming in general for sure!
12:53 weeping angel stocking the mc 33:23 this where you are wrong. it has a ghost event if you looking the camera for a long time or if it hunting it runs in to the camera (It was a team of streamer 1 of the 4 stay in the van and monitor sanity and camera's... and looking the camera the ghost start running into the camera like a jumpscare I watch a lot of phasmaphobia and was the first time seeing this)
The camera/recording system is a great idea! Real ghost hunting investigations actually do require going through a bunch of recordings. Because the ghosts can and will do stuff and show up without the ghost hunters around.
Conrad is actually realizing the dream I had when I was younger: Developing a fully realized and detailed ghost hunting game that's all about immersion and subtle horror rather than constant, loud, jarring scares. I 100% support this guy's efforts.
Like Insym, you imagine an open world based on a real city, and that you have to go to the places, talk to the owners of the places, work in place, then earn money and reputation that allow you to take more daring cases. This is how you will see scenarios for all types of mission: - Different types of houses and ranches, - Markets, - Bus, train and metro stations. - Cemeteries with their church, - Small towns (abandoned and not), - Airports with their runways, their planes and the surrounding forest. - Schools and universities, - Theaters, cinemas, places of exhibition. - Camps and their houses. - Hotels, hospitals. - Subway tunnels. - Waste tunnels and rivers. - etc etc. It would be nice if A&D Studios could gradually do this. Greetings Insym.
It would be neat if instead of just the conventional style of earning currency to buy equipment they could add a kind of managment aspect to the game. You're trying to build a business. If you get busy with investigation maybe you could hire researchers at your office? They find locations as perspective haunted sites for you to work your way into investigating. Maybe those locations would be more like small local mueseums. Just interesting public places? All the while you're also taking on private cases that get phoned in by home owners etc. That would add an interesting aspect to the game I think. Buying equipment seems like an old idea. While I think it would still be a good addition, I just think the idea of building your ghost investigation business is also kind of neat.
So with the camera system im just thinking out loud. what if they had a "missed highlights" or something similar. For example a camera facing the down the center of the church, you see Conrad search around the room and from the upstairs you see a shadowy figure walking about. Conrad oblivious to this trying to figure out where the EMF spike came from doesn't notice. The figure walks out of view never to be seen or noticed again. Until you the player reviews footage, confirming that feeling of "being watched" during your investigation that night. edit : you can have the actual in game footage be recorded have a fast forward feature you can use for those long games and then when you think you see something pause and rewind. Maybe even give the option to save the VHS tape of the spookiest encounters you find!
i have to say this game has the best ambient noises i have ever heard in any video game and has quickly become my favorite ghost game ever ... there is clearly so much love and the charm is off the charts i can not wait to see more and when we do it is of equal or better quality ... for real this game is like sitting down late at night reading an old creepy book with ambient creepy music on in the background next to a fireplace ... i absolutely love this game!! 💜💜
11:40 I really like the idea of houses with no ghosts in it and the cause of all the noises being smith else. Reminds me of an anime I saw long ago "Ghost Hunt" where there first mission turned out to be a fluke cos all the strange activity was a combination of peoples imagination and noises caused by the house standing on uneven ground thus screeching all over before it finally collapsed
I love the direction that the game is headed. I think it would be awesome to be like a "novice" ghost hunter who is trying to build a name for themselves. They could start out by doing research and trying to find places to investigate. And as the game continues it could open new areas. As you build a reputation from good evidence and solving cases, then people could specifically request you to come to their homes and investigate those.... Endless options, especially since they make each ghost unique and they already have the "categories" done, like intelligent, demon, etc. Id love to see some peaceful/nice ghosts and more equipment added as you level up, gain more knowledge, and learn better ways to interact with the ghosts. Maybe even being followed home by the demons/darker entities. I bet they could get lots of fans to record/send in voice acting lines for them too so they had plenty of variety; having 100s of lines done in different voices would be so cool.
i loved the way he played in this video. He showed us the game, and told us about his ideas, but those ideas are for the developers, and hopefully, they will use one or two out of those........ ideas. what a Good gamer he is , very clever.
I dont know if anyone else got the same conclusion as I did but my theory of the cemetery ghost is put simply "graverobbers" would explain both the "be quick" and "all clear" lines and as for the "You're not supposed to be here" it could be that the person who wasnt supposed to be there was who made them into past tense.
Seriously bro keep up the Paranormal PI videos this game is insanely fun to watch. Chat is kind of annoying but I can live with it. Thanks for the great content!
When Insym is excited about a game or update he spends 10 mins yelling cool info to chat before he settles downn lol , SO excited about games I love it.
Hi Insym! I’m not sure how I’m just seeing this now, but I’m a writer and editor that’s been supporting the developer with some exciting changes! I can’t wait for you to see what we’ve been cooking up.
I am absolutely in love with this game. My only complaint is the high frequency noise that comes from turning on the thermometer. It's a little painful. Outside of that, it's incredible. Very impressive development.
for those ghost that require a follow up visit it be interesting to see the ghost evolve in some way, like maybe that more active or less active in some way. or even require different equipment to detect and gather evidence on
Not being able to see everything first run makes the missions replayable and makes them unique everytime. I think setting up cameras would kinda take away from that 🤷♀️ I do love the direction this game is going. And it's fun to watch ya play everytime.
i think it’d be a really neat idea if you were able to explore a haunted town, you’re given various locations within a town and you have to connect the dots as to what happened in the town.
This game has grown into being my favourite to watch out of all the ghost hunting games you play and it seems it will keep getting better. Big props to the developer! :)
Note that the title says 'Supernatural PI', every other ghost hunting game had ghost in the title and supernatural doesn't just mean ghosts so it's plausible in the future you might encounter bigfoot or ufos and that sounds pretty cool
Hey, have you checked out “Masks of Deception” yet? It’s a 6 player social deduction game made by Reflect (creators of Welcome to the Game and Scrutinized). I’ve been having a ton of fun with it over the past week
The way this game keeps serving more horror vibes, so haunting and spooky like real life haunted experiences, with no silly ghost models and stupid interactions or stupid haunted artifacts, i love it.
Tried to get into this once and motion sickness (thanks motion blur and low fov) put a very quick halt to that. Will definitely jump back in if they give us the display settings to fix it.
The problem is you said you liked that the ghost encounters ramp up very slowly. But if the game went more open world, that part would have to be changed I guess otherwise you would miss out on a lot of ghosts. Right now you know there’s a ghost in the area, so they can afford to be slow. Not saying it can’t be done, just perhaps they need to be careful not to ruin the unique aspect they have created.
It will sound strange, but I'd be the happiest to get a ghost hunting game somewhat similar to XCOM or Darkest Dungeon. It would kinda work like if you were a team leader who could even always stay in the van while the others investigate and just make them find all the ghosts for you on like a map screen, or just use them sparingly to help you while you yourself lead the investigations. - You'd hire investigators and combine them into teams based on their attributes. - Level them up and get perks so they'd be more successful in finding evidences or less likely to get scared away. - Pay for their vacation or treatments to restore their sanity. - Equip them with cursed objects or high-tech gear so they can be more useful. - Investigate outside the haunted locations to piece together the stories from the evidence you found. - Record hours worth of audio or video and make one of your employees look through them. - If a hunter dies, they'd have a slight chance to come back as a ghost later in the game and you could even resurrect them somehow. - Let too many people die and the police will lock you up and put a game over on your campaign. - A new game+ would be to sell your ghost hunting corporation and leave to a new town, maybe even use a random generator that creates somewhat randomized towns from templates to always give you somewhat new challenges. Edit: Formatting
I MADE A CONNECTION. I totally recall the house with the "little Boy Blue" or something- the kid with the striped shirt? The intro ALSO said that you should check out the two different spots?? MAYBE its like the graveyard thing?? Maybe the developer had another ghost waiting for you n the basement, since we did hear 2 diff voices in that house! I REALLY hope you check that one out again- -AS well as the 'GI-Ghost'. There's definitely more story to that from what I could tell when a friend played. I would love to see you figure it out.
You should suggest the video on top right(the pop off link I mean) when you talk about a video you posted early… so we don’t take 5min to find the video, because you are insane Insym, you posts many video’s lol 🤘🏻
Imagine when this is an open world research game, there’s a ghost in the graveyard that you encounter early on- yet to do research you can visit the graveyard to look for names or something and it just turns to “hi Bob I’m backkkk” and Bob tries to scare you while you look around for information lol
Imagine a ghost town or haunted town map, where you investigate a bunch of different houses and find out about a crazy backstory, that would be so cool
I'd love some sort of microphone or sound sensor system that would capture the recordings that you could then replay and form a catalogue of at the office as a means of researching who our spooky friend is and why they're a-spookin' everyone
The going to a house and finding it's not haunting is totally doable. Since they want to add a research step to the game, they can just give the location a creepy history and then give the player some tool separate to emf to find emp, was it? In ghost hunting TV series they sell you that story of having high emp or whatever on your house gives u paranoia or something like that? Since it's a game they can totally implement that. :)
It would Be so cool if some ghost had a live talk response where they respond to what you yourself say into your microphone. But the journal does nat tell you which one do this.
They should make the game where you pick a location to hunt. Decent sized map with several locations. Every ghost type is in each location. You then need to banish each ghost, then cleanse the location. Each ghost banished increases activity and threats.
This is the SMALL cemetery. You should go further into the woods & out or follow the road all the way to the end... you missed the cabins, barn, and other out buildings as well as other areas. Explore further! 😄
i hope they add some slight EMF readings for the gravestones, that would be pretty cool detail for just a bit more realism. (also if nobody understands what this is about, i can explain it.) (EDIT: the part with the "No ghost in a contract, just an empty house" would also be cool for even MORE realism. Funnily enough it would also tie in with EMF.)
Insym walking virtually, touching virtual grass and twitch nonstop gifting subs is such a mood. Having to see chat is actually good cos I see how chaotic and funny it is
I think, to make the game more terrifying, while keeping the ghost do whatever shit they want to do regardless of the player, a more intelligent ghost should focus on teasing the player when player has annoyed them. So basically, random ghost event is the bait for player to investigate the area (which not always a bait). And once the player taken the bait, the ghost activity slowly ramping up and focusing on the player the longer the player spend time on a place. Altho, with residue, to get in line with their characteristic, they are the one who isn't going to be triggered by the player.
Be great if in the future, a shadow person can warn you if there is a malevolent spirit, and possibly if it becomes open world, the ability to also debunk a client's haunting.
yooooo continuing on the open world ghost hunting idea. What if you did find some houses through research, but it turns out that they actually are just creepy AF but there is no ghost. Maybe there is also a house that just has someone squating in it and you run into this homeless dude who just begs you not to tell. Another one where the ghost was just raccoons all along. And of course finding nonviolent ghosts, but occassionally a hostile ghost that maybe it can't hurt you, but it is sure as hella trying to get you to leave.
39:00 to elaborate on the camp in the woods idea, maybe there could be a situation of a missing body in the woods, and the ghost is trying to show you were it is
It would be nice if a new kind of ghost or apparition would be more focus on scaring and harassing people whom are in their area, as if it was playing with their guests and/or doesn't like unwelcome guests. More like the poltergeist, it would actually throw things across the character's peripheral or at them. The ghost will follow you around, whispering in your ear that'll make you be worry about your surroundings. Having your camera active, the ghost or apparition will actually run across your view or around corners and disappear as it chuckles. It will knock your equipment out of your hand and you have to pick it back up. The ghost will be more camera and audio focus. The temperature reading will come to you, as the ghost is coming after you. And EMF will be on the items thrown. The ghost will not leave it surrounding area, for it is bound to that particular area, whether it be big or small based on its story of departure.

Holy shit I just saw it!
hard to make a game scary when the character can't die in some way, but they did it. This game looks fun and spooky, would love to see how something like this would do on VR.
I’m glad you finally realized there was more to the map. I think it’s a really cool idea and I hope they do add cameras and a post-investigation system.
28:38 "Hes just standing there...menacingly"
11:08 I love the reference :) "Hugh Munges What!? What did you just say to me?!"
That would be very interesting.
mega phasmophobia
@@theorangeheadedfella Not everything ghost related is Phas. It's better than that.
12:53 weeping angel stocking the mc
33:23 this where you are wrong. it has a ghost event if you looking the camera for a long time or if it hunting it runs in to the camera
(It was a team of streamer 1 of the 4 stay in the van and monitor sanity and camera's... and looking the camera the ghost start running into the camera like a jumpscare I watch a lot of phasmaphobia and was the first time seeing this)
Insym chat is weird i see links from other sreamers
And some are parrots repeating that Insym says (known bot behavior)
pay attention to the middle right of the camera at 15:35 you see something walk into frame just after he says "whole graveyard"
The camera/recording system is a great idea! Real ghost hunting investigations actually do require going through a bunch of recordings. Because the ghosts can and will do stuff and show up without the ghost hunters around.
at 15:37 you can see someone walking on the left side of the camera, between the stick and gravestone... terrefiying
This is how you will see scenarios for all types of mission:
- Different types of houses and ranches,
- Markets,
- Bus, train and metro stations.
- Cemeteries with their church,
- Small towns (abandoned and not),
- Airports with their runways, their planes and the surrounding forest.
- Schools and universities,
- Theaters, cinemas, places of exhibition.
- Camps and their houses.
- Hotels, hospitals.
- Subway tunnels.
- Waste tunnels and rivers.
- etc etc.
It would be nice if A&D Studios could gradually do this. Greetings Insym.
This guy never fails to disappoint us. Keep up the good work Insym.
20:51 This could be a reference to GTA where you can reach an easteregg location with a sign that says a similar message 😂
27:40 I literally jumped bcus I thought someone was literally whispering behind me 😭😭 that scared me so much!
i have to say this game has the best ambient noises i have ever heard in any video game and has quickly become my favorite ghost game ever ... there is clearly so much love and the charm is off the charts i can not wait to see more and when we do it is of equal or better quality ... for real this game is like sitting down late at night reading an old creepy book with ambient creepy music on in the background next to a fireplace ... i absolutely love this game!!
That was really fun! Thank you for playing, Insym!
You can see the ghost walking in the background when you got the audio at 27:22
I dont know if anyone else got the same conclusion as I did but my theory of the cemetery ghost is put simply "graverobbers" would explain both the "be quick" and "all clear" lines and as for the "You're not supposed to be here" it could be that the person who wasnt supposed to be there was who made them into past tense.
Objective: investigate the church
Insym: imma head to the graveyard
The Ghost: You are not suppose be here!
Man... Conrad sure has a chill, bright future. Looking forward to every update!
This game has so much potential I am very impressed
we can all agree when i say that insym is the best streamer when he plays phasmo, etc.
Oooooh, you touch my EMF / Aaaahh, my thermogun!
24:29 I heard "Be quick"
I am absolutely in love with this game. My only complaint is the high frequency noise that comes from turning on the thermometer. It's a little painful. Outside of that, it's incredible. Very impressive development.
for those ghost that require a follow up visit it be interesting to see the ghost evolve in some way, like maybe that more active or less active in some way. or even require different equipment to detect and gather evidence on
Not being able to see everything first run makes the missions replayable and makes them unique everytime. I think setting up cameras would kinda take away from that 🤷♀️
I do love the direction this game is going.
Insym: *literally losing his mind and screaming his soul off*
Conrad (calm, almost bored tone): Oh look. I've got a photo of the ghost.
Note that the title says 'Supernatural PI', every other ghost hunting game had ghost in the title and supernatural doesn't just mean ghosts so it's plausible in the future you might encounter bigfoot or ufos and that sounds pretty cool
13:36
If anyone died in there...
It be suicide... Or bad air.
Hey, have you checked out “Masks of Deception” yet? It’s a 6 player social deduction game made by Reflect (creators of Welcome to the Game and Scrutinized). I’ve been having a ton of fun with it over the past week
33:50, did we miss the ghost walking?
I just told myself that I should take a break from watching Insym but here you are uploading again. You make it so hard to stay away lol.
Watch at 16:15 and look at the top right window above the door light on the left. Is it just me or did something actually move. Seriously no joke.
Branches on tree blowing in the wind
The Forest part was amazing!! I was hoping for a ghost to appear.

16:26 there was a car on the road
I MADE A CONNECTION. I totally recall the house with the "little Boy Blue" or something- the kid with the striped shirt? The intro ALSO said that you should check out the two different spots?? MAYBE its like the graveyard thing?? Maybe the developer had another ghost waiting for you n the basement, since we did hear 2 diff voices in that house! I REALLY hope you check that one out again-
-AS well as the 'GI-Ghost'. There's definitely more story to that from what I could tell when a friend played. I would love to see you figure it out.
Insym should visit haunted buildings and do ghost hunting videos.. REAL LIFE GHOST HUNTING WOULD BE SO GOOD
Just imagine having a demon in the graveyard and it starts to chase you around the tombs... now that would be TERRIFYING!
You should suggest the video on top right(the pop off link I mean) when you talk about a video you posted early… so we don’t take 5min to find the video, because you are insane Insym, you posts many video’s lol 🤘🏻
DLC for this game could be recreations of famous hauntings, like the myrtles plantation, the Stanley Hotel, and Gettysburg.
The line “you shouldn’t be here” makes a lot more sense if the ghost in the graveyard is the Reaper
Oh wow! I love the huge potential of this research system. This game will be even more awesome.
i hope they add some slight EMF readings for the gravestones, that would be pretty cool detail for just a bit more realism.
(also if nobody understands what this is about, i can explain it.)
(EDIT: the part with the "No ghost in a contract, just an empty house" would also be cool for even MORE realism. Funnily enough it would also tie in with EMF.)
Haven't watched this one yet so I gotta watch a bit of it before I hit the hay. Love the videos Insym
Insym walking virtually, touching virtual grass and twitch nonstop gifting subs is such a mood. Having to see chat is actually good cos I see how chaotic and funny it is
Keep the Conrad Stevenson content coming.
That would explain why the first map has two buildings and a garage you can enter.
I genuinely can't wait for the lighthouse location to become available down the line.
Could also be fun, if there was a few animals, like a bird or a cat walking around making noices, that could show up in the cemetery
my volume was way too loud and I got jumpscared by insym saying hi youtube LMAO
Insym: "Look at this, this place is HUGGEEE"
Me: "all i see is darkness" xD
you going through the forest was big spooky
Be great if in the future, a shadow person can warn you if there is a malevolent spirit, and possibly if it becomes open world, the ability to also debunk a client's haunting.
Walks into any house in Skyrim after hours* “You’re not supposed to be in here.”
Wow, so I found that ghost in the small graveyard but I thought it was just the same ghost as inside the church so I didn't investigate it closer. :O
YAY! More paranormal P.I.!
yooooo continuing on the open world ghost hunting idea.
Maybe following up, but one of the animal ones, is actually a possessed animal, and if you stick around, you realize that it is actually a demon.
"Paranormal P. I." in 2032:
- Wake up as Conrad at 9 PM, finish that bottle of Jack, get dressed, start the car, go to office
- Arrive at the office, listen to some voicemail, take a smoke break, suit up, go to the old church
- Driving by the convenience store, buy some chips and another bottle of Jack
- Come to the old church, smoke break, get out of the car, lock your keys in
- Visit the church, the cemetery, the pastor's residence, the basement, the crematorium, etc.
- Obtain evidence of five freaking ghosts at the same time, Jack break
- Hitch a ride back come in the morning, give the driver half the bottle
- Pass by the office to drop your stuff, call a one night friend around noon
- Visit het, get laid, smoke some more, chill playing Phasmophobia on her PC
- Get back home around 1 PM, go to sleep
GOLDEN TROPHY!
You should have gone into the mausoleum. It's pretty cool.
