Brilliant man! We will always remember him as Siegfried Farnon. Our entire family was sad to hear of his passing.

We, too, were all saddened. Happily, Sigfried lives on through the miracle of television.

One of the top 3 greatest UK actors ever, yet highly underrated (compared with the Oliviers of the world).

What a speaking voice he has. He could be the narrator of many a documentary.

Robert Hardy looks gorgeous - better than when he was younger, a more handsome and chiseled looking face - he aged v. v. well. God bless him, lovely man, good actor and left quite a legacy in more than 1 field. This was literally 1 yr before his death AT THE AGE OF 90! Wow.

I've asked this on another video but the question applies here as well... Do any of you physically lose your breath, hyperventilate, when you realize we have lost and will never again hear from the people of this, the absolute greatest generation!?! And Robert Hardy as well?!? I could listen to this man talk for hours on end. And now will never have the honor of doing so again. It saddens me to the point of a physical response. If you have not watched Winston Churchill The Wilderness Years hesitate no longer. He, along with in my opinion, Albert Finney in The Gathering Storm, becomes Churchill.
And how much more amazing is it that this wonderful actor is not something liberal maggot!?! These two appearances from Hillsdale College are gems. Thank you Hillsdale!!

You were doing very well with your florid hyperbole - until you brought unnecessary and vulgar rhetoric into it.

When I think like that, how we have lost entertainers, I change it to being grateful, and I thank God for sharing them with all of us. I hope that helps.

I suppose the reason we Americans behave so graciously and warmly to British Citizens could be because we think they are rather droll. Sorry. 😜 RIP, Robert Hardy. You have been my Crush since 1983. ❤
