You can only tweak mechanics and graphics so much, no one cares.. there are so many other fixes that need to be made. Fix the ranked match system (make sellouts play with other sellouts or some kind of incentive to be a solid teammate and not an idiot), get rid of the silly ghost contests on open jumpers, kick inactive players from the game sooner, reward staying in front of players on defense and punish aimless reaching..
None of that matters unless the badges are completely overhauled and redone. The stranglehold that badges have on the game makes good gameplay impossible.

They need to fix the grading system for smaller positions… its hard to get A+ when you can barely rebound and being limited on defense… Meanwhile the centers get a A+ for just sneezing on the court…
fr, centers go 0/5 forcing smothered layups all game but get some boards so they get an a+, but i drop 30 on 80% shooting and get 3 steals but i get an a-,
A’s are way easier to get as a guard and center user, just pass the ball and play some defense instead of repeatedly looking to score, not saying it’s bad to be a good scorer but you can’t only do that

If your ball handling is high enough, the dribbling is probably a skill issue 😅, and btw passes usually get off if you're passing to the right person at the right time 🤷🏿♂️ lbs

I just dont get why people kept supporting 2k, its basketball, how else could it be better or improved on? Sure graphics improved over the years(debatable) but what new mechanics could a basketball game even have? 2k16 is the best change my mind.
2k25 the slower and uglier version of 2k24 wont be buying anymore 2Ks if they keep making the game more and more realistic. The shooting and dribbling is going to be even more delayed, and the dunk meter is already super delayed 😂
