Dorito is massive. I love his head structure and how chill he is. My two cresties don't do well with large enclosures either, unfortunately. A lot of breeders raise them in small plastic tubs and I think if they're kept that way too long, too much space really intimidates them.
it took one of my geckos 3 and a half months to adjust to his upgrade from a 12x12x18 to an upright 29 gallon, the wait is worth it. he used to be flighty and bit me too but after a few months he calmed down.
Hi I think I might get a crested gecko this year do you think you could possibly make a video about what I need such as tank sizes and stuff because I have been looking but can't find a perfect tank
@@alicia-or4sp thankyou so much I have looked alot at that one and overall it looks pretty good but my only worry is that in the reviews some people say that since it only has one door that their cresties escape through the top corner of the door
@@stefaniejanusz5859 That's very interesting. I use the 18 x 18 x 24 Thrive and haven't had that issue. My gecko doesn't have interest in the door unless it's feeding time, then it climbs to the plant next to the door and waits for me. But I would say the Exoterra seems to be a better quality tank and would recommend just getting the nicer tank. I plan to upgrade when I move and have space to keep this tank for a back up.
My sister just gave my daughter a 4 year old crested gecko for Christmas and I’m so lost lol. I’m getting conflicting information about what temperature to keep it and what humidity. I also don’t know what light to get and put in it cause it doesn’t have 1 and is in a 12x12x18 that she provided. All she said to do was spray the walls and door a couple times a day and feed it this powder but I want this little guy to thrive not just survive. Could I get some tips and ideas on good food, insects, light, and temperature to keep it?

the thrive 18x18x24 from pet smart or exoterra 18x18x24 is good if you use a lot of plants and stuff, cresties like to have a LOT of hiding place

@@laniewisniewski1812 Thank you
Please do reasearch
Are you going to the Cincinnati expo tomorrow?!?!
The Canadian border is still closed
Does it hurt when they bite?
Hey, is it normal for crested geckos to attack their food stick and food bowl? I can’t find anything about it online
Yes, sometimes they get excited and attack their food bowl like it’s living prey lol
💚💚
any gecko you don't have that you'd like to have / gecko you don't have you definitely don't want to own
How do you keep so many animals without freaking out one day and wishing u never bought all them because its too much
Probably just by pushing through your own psychosis and doing it anyways.
Hello 😍😻💕💗🥰
