I didn't think I could like malmsteen any more than I already did but after seeing him with the Japan philharmonic orchestra (who kick butt) the Japan philharmonic orchestra are brilliant and awesome in their amazing musical abilities and sound as well , one of the best orchestras in the world in my opinion !!! I think he is one of the greatest guitarists that ever lived period !!! Yngwie j. malmsteen is absolutely amazing !!! Thanks Yngwie !!! And thank you Japan philharmonic orchestra !!!
I remember rewinding my cassette over and over again with a pen to hear this performance when I was a child... He is my ABSOLUTE Guitar Hero... I wish I can see him Live at leats once in my lifetime

Whether or not this is your kind of guitar playing is irrelevant , you cannot deny the absolute majesty and technical abilities on display here . To play that fast and then to land on the right note and then execute the most beautiful vibrato is just stunning.....

This required a lot of moving parts and careful planning for an entire orchestra who is very busy all the time. Honestly impressed by the fact that they even know who he is because he's rock/metal. And not "mainstream." Great Talent respects great talent. Hail to the KING!!! 👑

Yet, he is often forgotten by the mainstream, and people always only remember Slash, Eddie Van Halen, etc. They're great, but for god's sake... They're not Beethoven with a guitar who invented the on stage guitar swing (Yngwie f'n Malmsteen).

This performance shows he's without doubt the most accomplished guitarist of all time. To arrange music of this level takes incredible single mindedness, determination and perseverance. Unfortunately for staying true to himself he's labelled arrogant and a control freak. It's nice to see Yngwie Malmsteen gaining new fans and his genius being recognized in 2022. For the record I don't like shreader guitarists as they are normally lacking emotional in their playing and technical guitarists are boring trying to impress other musicians.
