You ever notice that quite a few of these supernatural happenings tend to happen around the vicinity of the Peel Godred Branch? The same branch that leads to Killdane? The same line with the standing stones on it?
I've had an idea for a ghost engine story: In the days of the Tidmouth Knapford and Elsbridge railway there were three coffeepots that worked the line. There was Glynn of course and the others were Glenda and Gregory. Gregory was the largest and strongest of the three and bosted about it. One night a large stone shipment needed to go to Knapford Harbor to be transported to Canada. Gregory to show off his strength took the whole lot by himself despite Glynn and Glenda telling him not to. On approaching the harbor, Gregory tried to set his breaks but the train was too heavy and Gregory wound up rolling into the sea. The weight and momentum of the train pushed Gregory far out into the ocean to the point it was impossible to rescue him and the stone shipment was lost. On the anniversary of the accident Gregory's ghost returns to reenact his last run
What’s interesting about Rusty’s ghost engine, is that in the story scenes it’s Scharloy’s basis but when Duncan sees the lights it’s Rehenas’ basis. Duncan Gets Spooked has always been my favorite of the ghost train episodes in Thomas, because, unlike most of the other stories, we never get told that its made up or not, its left to the viewer to decide, not to mention the music used when the story of the engine is told and how the music for it ends with what sounds like an engine's whistle going by at speed, or maybe in this case, falling into the ravine
Having grown up with the early seasons of Thomas & Friends (Seasons 1-5), I remember "Percy's Ghostly Trick/Ghost Train" scaring me so bad that it gave me nightmares and caused me to not watch the VHS it was on for months and months. What's sort of ironic, though, is that I now write ghost stories for children, and had an idea to write the rest of the story that Percy finishes with, "...And every year on the date of the accident, it runs again as a warning to others, plunging into the gap, shrieking like a lost soul...."
I was always fine with this episode, but there were 2 that gave me nightmares; "Duncan Gets Spooked" (still today I get paranoid after watching it), and the scariest episode of all, "Haunted Henry". To this day I refuse to watch it, due to how badly it scared me as a child (The music alone still creeps me out). And there were questions from that episode that were never answered. What was the noise Henry and his crew heard just after they saw the amber lamp that made the Driver ask "Who's there?"? Why was there a fogman's coat in a tree? Why was there a light inside the abandoned station? Why/how did those crossing gates "mysteriously close by themselves", as stated in the episode, same with that signal turning red on its own? Who was that "mysterious figure" who watched Henry go by? Remember, the episode never actually confirmed that it was Old Bailey

Here is the TRUE story of Timothy! It all happened in the year 1915, on October 31st, at mid-night. Timothy was pulling a late-night passenger train. Timothy was waiting at the station when his driver and fireman went into the station to use the loo. Timothy waited and waited when all of a sudden, a strange thin man with a thin black hat and a twirly mustache climbed aboard timothy's cab. Timothy: Oh driver, there you are. Are we ready to go? Stranger: ...Sure thing. When Timothy's crew came out from the station, they saw timothy and the coaches left the station! Timothy can see the station. Timothy: Driver, we're coming up to the station. Timothy was about to stop, but he couldn't! Timothy was out of control! Timothy: DRIVER, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! APPLY THE BREAKS NOW! But the strange man didn't apply the brakes, he made Timothy go faster and faster! Timothy was heading to the unfinished viaduct! Stranger: NYAHAHAHAHAHA! YOU'RE PASSENGERS ARE GOING TO END UP IN THE GRAVE, ALONG WITH YOU! NYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! TIMOTHY: WHAT?! They were getting closer and closer! Stranger: THIS IS IT! PREPARE TO MEET YOU'RE DOOM! Timothy: I don't think so. Stranger: what? Then Timothy shook the coaches so hard that they were all uncoupled from him. The coaches stopped! Stranger: NO! timothy: YES! STRANGER: I think this where you get off. Then the stranger jumped out of timothy's cab. Timothy plunged into the ravine. Timothy: AAAAAAAAAAHHH! (:CRASH!:) THE PASSENGERS WE'RE ALL SAVED! Stranger: CURSES! The next day: Timothy was hauled out of the ravine, unfortunately, Timothy was beyond repaired. The workmen tried to fix him up, but they couldn't. before Timothy was sold for scrap, the passengers who he saved came to say their goodbye's and thank you's to him. As for the stranger who tried to harm Timothy and the passengers, was arrested. And that is the TRUE story of timothy!
Well if I may say so myself I think some of these ghost engines are something, 1, the great western Avonside tank engine from the ghost engine of the gap, 2, this engine was Stella the engine that worked at the smelter’s yard until she was killed in the burning furnace, 3, these engines in act of the better word are known as the Killdane experiment that took place in 1966, 4, the engine on the old iron bridge looked like Skarloey or Taylylln, but it was a very old engine and was owned by the slate quarry company, So there you might have it, I have found out on some of the stories that told the truth about them

(:CRASH!:)
THE PASSENGERS WE'RE ALL SAVED!
(I like this better than Timothy being evil) Rest In Peace, Timothy
Although, I didn't know engines were capable of shaking their couplings loose 🤔
@@whyiamafse2s are horrible for passenger trains for their wobbling so it makes sense
@@spe-notapopularytbersus1237 I honestly haven't thought about that. Wow!
Interesting you included a magazine only character
Eh TBH, not many ghost engines are ever told in the Thomas lore

Shout out flatbeds of fears fr
It’s the Spooky Month!
0:38 Ah yes the one story that was later used as inspiration for a shitty creepypasta named: Timothy The Ghost Engine.
IS SPOOKE MOHNT
Spocy ooooooo
Does proteus counts as a ghost?
Wait a minute why is Percy blue? 4:06
Oooooo
AAAAAHHHHHH 😱😱😱😱😱😱
Give me that intro link
Well if I may say so myself I think some of these ghost engines are something,
1, the great western Avonside tank engine from the ghost engine of the gap,
2, this engine was Stella the engine that worked at the smelter’s yard until she was killed in the burning furnace,
3, these engines in act of the better word are known as the Killdane experiment that took place in 1966,
4, the engine on the old iron bridge looked like Skarloey or Taylylln, but it was a very old engine and was owned by the slate quarry company,
So there you might have it, I have found out on some of the stories that told the truth about them
U forgot one… #1020
Has anyone ever noticed the fireflies Duncan sees look kind of like Lady?
Nah they look more of Rheneas
Hell Yeah 😊 👻 👽 😱 🧙♀️ 🪄 🧛♀️ 🦇 🧛♂️ 🧟♂️ 🧟♀️ 🎃 💀 ☠️
I'd love to see you do something like this for some of the community's ghosts. Stuff like "The Half Engine" or Afton from the Wandering Coach
Will any of these Ghost Trains get names? The world may never know
LOL what names would you give them?
Maybe Harumi or Morro (Maybe a reference to something… hint hint)
@@IsleofPigsStudios i get it
1 of the ghost trains does actually have a name
Rusty's ghost train is called Octavia
Spooky month special????
