Hi there! Bushels are volume measures, so one bushel is equal to about 35 Liters. At an average of 80 bushels per acre, this would be about 2.8 kl. Weight per bushel varies because of moisture levels, but with an average moisture level of 13% a bushel of soybeans would be around 27kg, making an average yield per acre weigh about 2160kg.
@@ilsoybean was it possible to get 2160 kg "soyabean" in 1 acre, if yes then how? I saw all soyabean related videos of this channel was it really possible!
@@vrundanfarm2142 Absolutely possible! Illinois farmers average 1674 per acre, so many can be higher or lower than that depending on weather conditions, soil quality, seed variety, and a number of other factors. The highest yield on record is actually over 5000kg, and that happened in the state of Iowa a couple of years ago. For some more growing tips, look up our video "Webinar: What Six Secrets Research Has Taught Us About High Yield Soybeans." ruclips.net/video/0UtkuPn3GE4/видео.html
@@vrundanfarm2142 There could be many reasons. Rain quantity, soil quality, soil fertility, soil acidity, soybean variety quality, weed control, insect control, fungal control. I will say, 80 bushels per acre is a very high yield, even for the USA. I live in Minnesota, and 40 to 60 bushels per acre is much more common.
