to make it a little more clear, it works with all software like external mixer & audio card, it doesn't work like DVS with any other software except the algorithm for now. very very value for money mixer, and very underrated. the truth is that I scoffed at reloop mixers until I worked with a Rmx 90 for nearly 4 years at a beach club that was literally in the sea. the equipment ate a lot of strain due to the saltiness of the sea so the equipment washow economical for that reason. to my pleasant surprise, it had amazing sound and great build quality, in the 4 years it worked in the shop we never had any problems. I worked it with traktor and a pair of old CDJs if I remember correctly they were 850 all in Midi mode.
@@spirosbulk Cheers man. I've learned that even the SL boxes don't work with later Serato DJ versions, but as long as I keep with earlier versions or Scratch Live, my SL2 will live on. This is a cool mixer; a nice alternative to Pioneer, which is out of my range now
Hi Phol, Can you load tracks directly from the mixer into left and right channel, or do you still need hands on the laptop/ipad/iphone? Does not seem to have dedicated buttons/encoder for that
Interested to see more videos with DJay pro utilizing DVS and iPad Pro, im currently rocking a DJM 750mk2 with reloop turntable in Rekordbox but enjoy the UI of DJay pro a little more.
I've been contemplating using Recordbox DVS (with 2 Tech 1200s) because I already use Recordbox with my controllers. I like the RB library features too. I hear a Ton about Serato !! I like the Serato flip, and the ability to make mashups, and remixes. In your opinion what's your experience with Recordbox & it's capabilities? I'm not sure if you can make live mashups as easily like in Serato - but I think you can make edits with Recordbox? I've been thinking about Getting a DJMK2 450, DJMK2 750, or a DJMK2 850 with a DDJ XP2 - So I can kind of sort of have a 3rd or 4th channel here and there. What would you suggest Thanks!
How does the midi mode work? When turning it on and assigning controls to various knobs/buttons does that override the hardware function of that knob/button? Can you have a hybrid of some controls being midi mapped and others being the dedicated hardware controls or does everything need to be mapped in order to make use of it?
This looks very interesting. Will this mixer work with traktor pro 3? I have 2 Xone K2s and want to add an external mixer that can work with traktor and ableton. How does it compare to the Denon 1850?
The previous mixer was Serato compatible, and this (its replacement) isn't. Not working with Serato doesn't mean it is bad, but as practically all club-style mixers do work with Serato, it is a disadvantage for installing in places whee the DJs that use the gear may include Serato users.
I have the RMX 90 and the sound quality is unbelievable. Like surprisingly good. This new version looks practically identical to the RMX 90 so I would expect the same. Watch the DJCity review of the RMX 90 and he reviews in great depth. Very good mixer. Id even go as far to say I'd recommend looking for a second hand RMX 90 over buying on of these, purely for the Serato support.
"their version of stems" chronology doesn't work with dis once Serato has it, even if it was released way after, they refer to it like Serato had the feature first
What usb devices can be connected? Traktor kontrol F1 for looping, hot cue, sampling, stems for any or all decks? Other remix decksm, akai/maschine? Sense there are no hot cue pads on the mixer, is that what those usb connectors are for? Does this mixer work with traktor pro?
Any USB devices, it is simply a hub to save you having to plug them all directly into your computer, including pad controllers if you wish. Yes, the audio interface will work with Traktor.

OK I'm even more confused now😅 could you please explain it like I'm a 5 year old, what's the difference in this case then?
Will work fine with DVS too (Virtual DJ, Traktor etc).
Still not clear enough to answer my concerns. I have an SL2 box, can I use this mixer with Serato that way?
@@digitaldjtips yes it works with DVS my mistake

$1100 is not bad. Only if it worked with Serato.

Nice!
Hace 10 minutos acabo de recibir la mia, saludos!
Que tal es?
With the backorder with pioneer d750 looking to buy this for my reloop 7000k m2 vinyl decks
A good match
is it class compliant dual USB host? For example, can I plug in two Akai Force or MPC over USB and mix between them?
I’m guessing it will be class compliant, but we haven’t checked that
Would like to see proper Sweep FX (not just Filter) at that price point, even the DJM 750MK2 has them + parameter knob. Otherwise solid job by Reloop.
Thanks Solaris.

I can't see why it wouldn't - there's no specific hardware requirements for Traktor (unlike Serato)
Yes, should be fine! Traktor is not choosy about audio interfaces so you ought to be good to go with this.
Is it possible to use this mixer with rekordbox and pioneer decks or would you be forced to change to algoriddim?
No, it doesn't work with Rekordbox natively.
Wow, when did all these serato users become so sour, just because something isn’t for you doesn’t mean it’s bad.
True. But it does mean wont be of interest to those many many serato users

Yes, any mixer would.
Yup no serato means no interest. Great vid as ever
Glad to inform.
Does the rotary caps on this unit support aftermarket ones?
We'd guess so.
Does it work with traktor pro?
Is there actually a 4 channel mixer that works with serato around a 1000 € ? I only know the Allen and heath 43c but is discontinued
Denon X1850?
@@mixministermike 1500 right ? well let's say under a 1000
@@djstuc didn't know that one , thx for the tip
Or the RMX90 (the one that came before this one).

So this for £800 or Pioneer DJM-A9 - £2500. Hmmmmm... easy choice.
👍👍👍👍
Will take a year to hit that shelves like the MIXON 8 is 😂
We asked again about the Mixon 8 today, it seems like they are out there now.
@@digitaldjtips that’s great. Would have thought they’d have let some of you reviewers have a look prior to release.
The price is good , but No serato. Thats no good.
no Serato?Then no thanks
Well... without Serato it's kind of a skip for me personally 🫤
