Most likely not oil burning. The metal is melting in the cats and shooting molten chunks out, tends to happen on stock downpipe cars when they are pushing limits
Well, it will not be the same as what these guys are doing but a true anti-lag 2 step produces so much heat it cooks the exhaust (turbos, catalytic converter, surrounding areas) For the 2 step to be effective well built stage 2+ turbos and catless downpipes will produce a powerful firey launch

Mark Tonna yeah true. I had a single turbo 335 N54. It was a money pit but worth it. I ran low boost on it at all times and a piston misfired and the engine blew. I still have the car. I might do a rebuild but I’m just too busy. What I like about the 2j is that is makes good power reliably. That’s the only minor difference between those two motors
