  • Haven't managed to get the engine running yet. exhaust is nearly finished, cooling system is working. ECU and coil packs are wired in, but no oil or fuel system yet. Can't even get the VESC6 speed controllers to connect to the PC. Electric motors are 4500w each. Not going to comment on the motor/esc supplier until it actually works.

*To anyone complaining about how long it's taking* you have never been around old blokes who build stuff. My grandfather was a woodworker and very clever one, he would make complex gadgets from the ground up with his own designs includes a mechanism that had a bike chain maid completely from wood. These projects would take ages because of all the detail, precision and designing that would go into it. My step granddad made miniature steam trains which he engineered and built from the ground up and they would almost take a decade to make!! I think relatively, for the engineering feat this is, it has gone together quite quickly! Amazing stuff for one guy with his own money lets remember! Rome wasn't built in a day, isn't that what they say?

well bloody said good man👍🏼👍🏼 some people have no idea what it takes to make your own concept from the thought then to design to redesign to parts source to build to tear down redesign etc..some people just do not have a clue

Thats just bloody brilliant .. never ever thought that rc cars could get that highly technical and be at prober race car at its level of build. I can see this as slight it got out of hand project. But damn its sexy and well engineered. Specially for something home build. As i could see this scale building by f1 and other major race teams to prove their concepts, but as hobby level… ah just brilliant.
