Ive only watched 2 min in and he keeps calling a mill a drill and he didn't even know what a crankshaft was wow idk if im going to be able to listen to this idiot till the end, this is pathetic "you need a good drill to make holes" (referring to the mill) lmfao
“There’s a coat hook and a tiny spanner” “the key part is the drill” “if you don’t have a drill you can’t make holes” “Hole in hole action” I’m dying 😂
These engines you make are incredible, some really impressive engineering. I’m mostly impressed that you spent over a year working on one project every day, no wonder they are so complex.
Austin Wolfe I know, my point is that he spent 2013-2015 on one motor, working every day, and now that motor is part of a project still going on in 2020. Impressive dedication in my opinion.
The amount of time that this had to have taken is mind boggling!!!!!!! AWESOME work and this is from a professional machinist that can't wait to retire and have fun at home instead of trying to do impossible stuff under pressure...............
Hand machined EVERYTHING and even moulded your own HT boots 😳 ... And then gave it the most epic annotations ever, for good measure. No lie, most impressive craftsmanship I've seen in my life.
Am completely blown away by your fabrication ability, that engine is a work of art a truly master piece .I my self do engineering work so I can appreciate and understand the amount of precision it is required to put together that engine .Just amazing well done who ever are you that goes with the name of Keith .
I was really concerned at first when he called a flat end mill a drill, and at the same time i was wondering “why does his voice sound a bit more higher and energetic?” hahaha
This is absolutely incredible. I cant even begin to wrap my head around the amount of time this gentleman must have into this. Hats off!! Unbelievable!
Yeah, the amount of time this guy must have and yet he seems to have learned absolutely nothing about which he was talking: valve cover, crankshaft, screwdriver, etc. Has he ever seen parts that make up an engine? He’s done his Dad no favors with this narration. The engine and manufacturing are incredible though! His Dad did an absolutely amazing job!
Absolutely amazing.... Thank you for taking the time to put this together, so many questions have been answered, as per, how you did some of the features, and "Hole in Hole action"... You will be remembered for this as a documentation in history, to inspire and educate generations to come... Absolutely fantastic craftsmanship, well done!!!!
Your coat hook and number 12 spanners are con rods and that thing you don't know what that is , that a crank shift and wow this is an absolute amazing build. Thank you for sharing it with us all
This is hilarious lol, I feel like your dad went on vacation and you stole his camera without him knowing lol. He is probably wondering how his RUclips channel just had an upload.
Holy shit, great added value, the narration!! :) Loving your work and assumed you were a very dry but technical guy. This is gold. Wish i could give you 2 likes. Keep it up, the amazing build, the videos AND the narrating!!
I loved seeing that thing a few times! Looks well made. I'm sure the spanners work nicely on it! I dont know why but the roots blower from scratch really got me. The setup to machine a helix was awesome!
Amazing engineering been watching from the start can not wait for the finished product although you will never be done with a project there is always improvements. Great stuff Keith
Absolutely brilliant! The narration, as others have mentioned, really threw me at first but I got in line quick enough. I bow to you sir. While I am a tool and die maker by trade and could probably build each part, they would each be somewhat of a challenge. You tackled each one and then the next and the next. You are relentless and will be revered for all time. My hat's off to you.
I would pay up to 5-7k for that engine alone. The entire car i'd pay 10k at the most. I would only use the car as a model. RC world is too advance to use it in any race application but is an absolute masterpiece of a showpiece for display alone. This is amazing. You deserve automotive recognitional awards for this. On the market it'll probably go for more but i'm cheap. lol
Really enjoyed the part about the Drill. The closeup of the thing was wonderful also. But the colors. The colors were very colorful. It was like they were different colors. Essential.
You are a spectacular builder! The components themselves are great. And the finishes you placed on many of them are super. And what a great sense of humor!!! Loved it!
A serious amount of code goes into milling a super charger. Where can I get my hands on "that" program? My buddy and I have access to mills and lathes on a daily basis but we don't have that amount of knowledge to write that kind of code
i'vebeen following this engine since you first started building it , and it's an absolutely amazing piece of engineering ,and of the many engine videos i have watched it's probably the most detailed and complex i have yet seen
Je viens de tomber par hasard sur vos vidéos!!!!! Tout simplement incroyable 😉 Toutes mes félicitations monsieur pour ce travail remarquable. Je ne connais pas vôtre métier mais si cela est une passion, bien bravo 🙌
The pipes and holes look like they’ll work perfectly with that drill and broken ‘spanner’ . Unlike the narration the engine itself and its components represent a technical masterpiece :-)
Wow. Just wow! This video made me speechless. I have built a tiny 5-cylinder radial engine but you sir play in a completely different league. The fact that you have not used any cnc machine makes it even more amazing. Congratulations to the succsess of this absolutely outstanding project.
Man, I really admire your work and I was waiting for a video with more detailed info about the engine. The speech you made on this video was fun and creative, but as an engineer, I would love to see another one that brings more technical information. Don't be afraid of sounding nerdy 🤓! As nerds, we understand you and love you the way you are! 😉
"Lost a couple of fingers on that part" "I don't know what that is, or that" "A key part is the the the drill, If you haven't got a good drill you can't make those holes" Classic narration that just gets better upon repeat, thank you such an accurate and professional representation.
It's all of the saw dust that cracked me up 🤣 and then the spanners 😅 but you tipped me over the edge with the hole in hole action, that was it I had to reach for the tissues and head for the mens room.🤫 By the way, Rolls Royce, BMW, Mercedes, Ford etc etc blah blah blah all make products but your Dad makes magic, he is an engineering genius and you should be extremely proud. I hope that you are all well and safe. Absolutely awesome work Keith 😉👍
That's exactly what this build needed you to narrate and simplify the whole process to holes and drills! Lmfao! Only you could make one of the most complex pieces of mechanical artistry to something simple as drilling a hole! Epic! Thank you for sharing and letting us all feel like yeah he did it I can too! 😆 So awesome! You're a great guy and a masterful engineer! 💯👍 Just beautiful!
@@mikesrcgarage not yet. I’ve got the prop shaft connected but I’ve had some trouble with the crank sensor so I’ve had to rethink the ecu triggering mechanism.

Good to see your dad’s engineering skills have rubbed off on you, your extensive knowledge of holes and drills is impressive 😂

I am astounded! Amazing work & results ! do you ever sell an Engine?
The mind boggles how one man could build this by himself, and acquire the knowledge to do so. Id tip my hat but I’m not worthy.
That thing is amazing. Thanks Keith for sharing how the engine was made.
The amount of time that this had to have taken is mind boggling!!!!!!!
AWESOME work and this is from a professional machinist that can't wait to retire and have fun at home instead

Yes, I really enjoy machining, but I’d hate to do it for a job.
As a hobby machinist this project just hurts my head. I can't even imagine the time and effort involved. Fantastic.
0:53 "let me put this hammer down" lays down screwdriver. Lmao!
