Terzo Protagonista: Brian Williams e Steve Cudd - sono una coppia di amici, il primo Sudafricano 77enne, il secondo Inglese quasi 70enne. Vivono entrambi a Ginevra dove hanno lavorato per quasi 20 anni. Hanno già corso alcune maratone assieme ma Roma è la prima volta per entrambi.
Corrono per concludere la maratona sotto le 6 ore e qualificarsi alla Comrades Ultra Marathon, gara che si corre in Sudafrica, paese dal quale Brian era dovuto scappare durante il periodo di apartheid in quanto nemico dello Stato.

Third Protagonist: Brian Williams and Steve Cudd - are a couple of friends, the first South African 77 years old, the second English almost 70 years old. They both live in Geneva where they have worked for almost 20 years. They have already run some marathons together but Rome is the first time for both.
They race to finish the sub 6 hour marathon and qualify for the Comrades Ultra Marathon, a race held in South Africa, a country from which Brian had to flee during the apartheid period as an enemy of the state.
