    You have the most healthy relaxed hair on you tube. I subbed you because I recently relaxed my hair after being natural and I am getting so many good tips from you. 💖💖

    Just came across your video and I love it. This is the first relaxed hair video I have watched where someone actually has thick hair like me. Most videos feature people with thin hair so the styling is a lot easier or very different. Your hair is gorgeous and you are proof that you can have healthy relaxed hair. Keep up the good work!!!

      +Follow the Findlay's How did you get it so thick or is it naturally thick?

    • @findlayco4338
      @findlayco4338  8 лет назад +2

      +Anita Thompson constant cutting every 3 months . I've only just begun growing my hair as it was very short for 13 years. I believe it's the cuts and trims that have helped with the thickness .

    • @anitathompson7023
      @anitathompson7023 8 лет назад

      +Follow the Findlay's I agree! I too wore my hair very short for years! It has grown to your length ,which I love. I want it just a little thicker. I use the whole Keracare line and I know it will eventually get there. Thanks for replying darling. ☺

    I've been thinking about relaxing my edges midway between relaxer touch ups. Some people say that you can burn your edges off by over processing,but you are living proof that is not so. I currently stretch my relaxers for 16 weeks,and of course my edges get fuzzy long before then. Thanks for sharing.🌻

    • @findlayco4338
      @findlayco4338  8 лет назад

      +Yvonne Ibrahim I think when it comes to mid relaxer touch ups it's all about practicality, for me my hair has no issue with this method and my edges have remained strong and intact . I do not leave the relaxer on for too long and I wouldn't do it if I had any form or breakage or damage to that area .... With my full relaxer I leave those parts until last as not to over process . It's all dependent on hair type and it's current condition 😊

    • @goodlife533
      @goodlife533 8 лет назад +2

      I totally agree with you! I leave my edges and nape for last. What's weird though is that the edges on my left side are fuller and a little healthier than the edges on my right side. I'm sure the reason being I sleep on my right side! I'm still going to try it because over all I think that my hair is pretty healthy!😊

    • @findlayco4338
      @findlayco4338  8 лет назад

      +Yvonne Ibrahim it's interesting that you say that because my hair is the same! Both sides of my edges are thick but my right side isn't as full as the left. I totally put it down to the side I sleep on as there is no other logical explanation 😊

      +CharityVanthuggin Yes I love bob length hair, so although I'm on a growth/healthy hair journey I tend to always go back to bob length .

    • @Unloctheswag
      @Unloctheswag 7 лет назад

      Findlay & Co well there's always weave!

    • @findlayco4338
      @findlayco4338  7 лет назад +2

      +CharityVanthuggin I don't really desire length and weave doesn't agree with my hair so bob length is what works for my hair visually and on a practical level .

    wicked...but if u just relaxed bits then ur hair must be thick and nice to start with...mines think so when I relax mine and put products in no matter how lil an amount it ends up flattish no volume.

    • @findlayco4338
      @findlayco4338  8 лет назад

      +Melissa H yes your correct my hair is naturally thick and I just maintain it. But products do not flatten my hair as I ensure whatever I use is light to avoid that issue .

    • @melissaa4168
      @melissaa4168 8 лет назад

      Well only just came across ur vids and was looking cos mines cut and styled pretty much like urs when I wear it down...at present I'm looking at products everyone uses but girllll your results are lovely..good on u.

    • @findlayco4338
      @findlayco4338  8 лет назад

      +Melissa H as you said your hair is thick why don't you try the Mizani line of products . When my hair is wet I use the miracle milk and then the thermastrength spradiance. Once dry I use some Mizani supreme oil. My hair is moist but without being weighed down.

    you are so experienced in relaxers but have you ever tried the keratin hair treatment? if so tell us the diffrence plz
    thnx :)

    • @findlayco4338
      @findlayco4338  7 лет назад

      +Seham Elgendy Yes I do have experience with Brazilian blow dry ( keratin treatments) do I preference that over relaxer ? To some extent yes . The difference is the chemicals and that your hair can be worn both curly and straight ( which is great for versatility) as this treatment simply loosens the curl pattern as opposed to permanently altering the hairs structure. The only brand I have used is " Keraspa " and I only have positives in terms of results . Although for coarser hair types you may struggle to achieve that relaxed look, because as i said before it loosens your curl pattern it doesn't totally straighten your hair .
      I feel like if you are relaxed hair and want to migrate over to a keratin treatment you need to have a decent amount of regrowth 3/4 inches minimum and even then, it's something you need to research and discuss with your stylist .
