What a great location for bus spotting and a great variety of buses. The gas buses are prominent with a Port Botany gas bus in the lay-up area at the start and also on route 389 which was my favourite route to drive along. I noticed a former Metrobus with the red roof still visible. I remember this interchange before it was enclosed fully and it has a meal room for the drivers on its northern wall (if it is still there) and also staff toilet facilities. I remember one occasion during a very hot summer and I was driving a 389 shuttle bus/short shunting from the interchange to North Bondi. The inspector loaded my bus with passengers who thought they were getting on a route 380 even though I clearly displayed 389. The destination boards were manually changed in those days (no electronic desto) and had to be changed on the front, side and rear. The inspector changed the desto side and rear but he put up 380 and the front showed the correct 389. When I continued on route 389 all hell broke out because half the passengers wanted Bondi Road. I had to continue from the 389 at Nth Bondi to 380 and return to the interchange via Bondi Rd. Everyone was unhappy and the inspector who was responsible copped an earful when he wanted to report me for being late back to the interchange. The good old days were certainly not boring.
@@MsetFox The route 333 leaves at approx #3.40 and looks like red above the roof line. I am using my phone to watch at the moment and my eyes are not the best so I could be wrong. Please let me know if I am wrong.
Nice Vlog 😀😁
