Something weird is going on here. I commented on your video yesterday and it's not here, same with the Chapel in the woods. Great video Anthony, I am really big on roadtrips, something I get from my dad. The views looking over Castleton are incredible, and I thought the room you had at Hathersage was great for 85 pounds plus breakfast that's a deal. Badgers Bottom Cabin was really nice, I could see spending two or three nights there just unwinding and getting some great sleep at night. Your dog Maggie(?) was cute checking out the bathroom and bathtub, it looked like she was giving the tour. I think you should fit in a couple of more of these tour vlogs in between the other videos.

I must say what quaint places those were and the scenery very stunning indeed. I love your little dog, she's so cute, French bulldogs are so intelligent. I must say not too expensive to sleep over in those places and very neat and tidy as well. It's good to go to places that are animal friendly and accept your little dog as well. Hey Ant, Winnats pass is one of my most favorite journeys, it is beautiful, Hathersage I visited nearly at the same time as you, and looking for LJ's grave (family in Yorkshire), feel very at home in Yorkshire. 👍👍 you must do Pontefract Castle and dungeon, amazing
Loved Castleton as a kid...another world from Chorlton-on-Medlock. Puffing a bit going up that hill mate. How many have stood looking at that view from the castle over the years. or run up and down those spiral stairs? Love the old English pubs, nothing like 'em here in Aus. I don't go abroad since Stan passed....but there are some beautiful places here in UK so why spend money to go abroad, have been to Torquay, Paignton, Blackpool, and Llandudno so far and off to Newquay,St Ives, Parr Market, the Eden Project, and Falmouth with Shearings in March.

If you get chance head back to Castleton in the summer for the ancient Apple Oak Festival often known as Castleton garland where a male and female ride on horse back to the church in the centre with a full garland of oak and flowers covering there bodies. The garlands get hoisted to the top of the church spire to rest. It's an ancient pegan tradition said the bring in the harvest and bless the land for next years crop (abit like wassaling) good to see you back on youtube.
Nice jaunt that Ant..Not been to Castleton for a long time. George looks a top pub to stay with nice breaky. Socks & Crocs all the range in the IOM...you'll fit in well. Good stuff Ant, know to watch your Dads latest vid😂
@@SlurpyDave254 I think there’s about 6-7 within a 2 minute walk of one another. If you stayed then night you wouldn’t be disappointed. Very cozy mate and friendly pubs. The missus and the lads would love it mate.

I've been looking at a few of those lodge/cabins for a break. They are pricey, but God will it be worth it.
