Thank you for the tip. Been trying to train our 6 month old puppy & she didn’t like us lifting her paw to the button. Will put treat under now 😊 so helpful!
Hi Justyn, thanks for your comment. We’ve most commonly seen these called talking buttons, talk buttons, or sound buttons, though different companies have their own names for them. You can try searching these terms and will likely find options to order from Amazon or other online companies. Yes, you can teach a puppy to use them with the same technique the trainer is using in the video, and the buttons usually come with more training tips, too. Have fun!
@@burrowgroves try showing them a treat &put it under the button & hold the button either in your hand or kind of on the ground (if you do it on carpet you can put a small treat under it &put the button flat)
Hi there! Start the same way the video teaches, then move towards the walk button immediately followed by a walk. They'll start to understand what that word and button mean. Hope this helps!
And also, I need to say just how freaking cute those paver stepping stones are! 😍🐾

Great, let us know how it goes!
I've seen dogs that speak with buttons and I've always wondered how you train them to do that.
This is one way to train that!
What are these buttons called? What’s the best place to buy? And is it a good way to train a dog as a puppy?

@@BestFriendsVideos thanks so much!
Any ideas on how to prevent a puppy from biting a button? Lol i try this with my puppy and she just goes straight to mouthing and biting 🤪
What's her breed? She looks like a shorthaired version of my dog!
What kind of dog is CB??? She’s so cute!!
She's a cattle dog mix of sorts! You can learn more about her or apply to adopt here: bestfriends.org/adopt/adopt-our-sanctuary/9385130/cb
Where did you get the button?
Hi there! We can't find the source, but you should be able to find one by searching "dog push training button" on the web!
Wow!
So cool right? We love creative training ways for smart and energetic pups!
Normal dogs press the button.. Mine scratches the side & not hard enough to trigger it =(
She finally got it lol & then I got different buttons that are easier to press & less likely to be re-recorded =)
Way to go!! 🎉🎉
I haven’t been able to get my dog to press a button with a paw - help!

@@PrincessLuna131 Yes, I've been doing that, but my small chiweenie just keeps nosing the treat out.
why are you wearing a mask outside with the dog?
Hello, thank you for your comment. This video was filmed during the pandemic when the CDC guidelines included wearing a mask at all times.
how would u teach the dog to walk for a walk butten

Clicker works too.
Totally! There’s several different versions of training with push buttons, whatever works for your pup is great!
why are you wearing a mask outside? It makes it hard to hear you
Can we please remake this without the mask! It is so distracting!
No its not you crybaby. Grow up its 2024
