new one is cool but somehow i like the "old" extreme more ... and the equipment on delivery was way better than on the new version - i like the way dacia develops .. but at the same time they disappoint me on some points .... i still like the brand .. but i hope they focus more on the "good" things ..like shark antenna on extreme ... and modular Rooft. ... and so on ... the last version of extreme was perfect ..because everything which was cool... was in it ... i like when they do things like that.
The cost cuts are normal, still a budget car but you get a lot for the price. We have had Dacia Dusters for 10 years. Never had any problems. We all had the 1.6 back in the day.
Somewhat many parts of black plastic jump out on white vehicle but overall I like the looks. I'm a happy owner of couple years old Duster so I may be biased. Led lights on for example booth are a real need. I've upgraded my interior bulbs and booth to leds. Without leds my model has way too little light in booth.
Interior looks cheaper than the leather interiors on my Dacia Duster 1.3 TCe 150 Prestige 4WD & Dacia Duster 1.5 Blue dCi 115 Prestige 4WD. Don't see any reason to change now!
I dont like you cant have manual e-brake in 4x4 versions, only electronic one. A lot of manufacturers do this, but its so stupid, if you have manual transmission, you should have manual e-brake, and if you have automatic transmission then you should have electronic e-brake. Its a bit shame from y side. Mainly in the winter, if you would like to have some snow fun, you cant do e-brake turn with electronic e-brake like you can with manual. Thats just mine opinion. What are your thoughts guys ?
@@DusterCoolTravels you are absolutely right! I thought 4x4 is only in Journey or Extreme, glad its possible to buy it with manual hand brake. Thanks for letting me know :)

I wonder why Dacia changed the tyre's size and did not keep the same of the previous model. In 215/60/18 there are NOT AT ALL options for off-road tyres, in 215/65/17 there are only a few, only in 215/70/16 there is a satisfactory variety. The previous model used 215/60/17 where there is a great variety in off-road tyres and price affordable... Why really ???
They’ve changed the tire sizes because they introduced the 18” wheels. So they can use the 215/60 on the 18” rims, not the 17” ones like the older models
car is good, but it should also have ventilated seats and sunroof , than it would be amazing , if possible than make a comparison video of this car with HYUNDAI CRETA SX(O) 2024 MODEL !!
The “neoprene” fabric diesn’t look good as is, neither do the color combinations or colors themselves. It probably is practical to clean, but I wonder how it is to sit on during the hotter months. I also don’t get why they skimp so much on the floor plate in the trunk - the material it is made of and how they fit-staple the felt over over it. It’s like the spirit of old old Dacias can’t go away. I understand moneysaving measures, but is this actually a deciding factor nowdays that those floor plates are so nasty? And then the engine … why does it have to be a three cylinder, a deliberately ‘disabled’ engine with a ‘crutch’ in the form of a technical complication - the ekectruc helper engine. For what reason? It can’t be ecology because it seems the engine has practically the same consumption as the 1.3 tce. All those complucations and workarounds - for the end result that is same or even worse. And getting rid of diesels is almost a sin too, for which all the brands are guilty of (or rather said - the regulators). Otherwise I like the evolution of the Duster very much! In the journey trim it looks superb in any other aspect than the above mentioned. I have the ‘23 4x4 diesel and am salivating when I look at thus video. It’s actually better that the new one doesn’t have better engine options because it would make me jelaous.😂
Thank you for your ideas. You’re right about the fabric of the seats. I only drove the car 10 minutes with 25 degrees outside and my back was sweating 👀. Also right about the complications on the engine only to have similar consumption as the older ones. As for the diesel engine, I would have kept a Duster 3 1.5 Blue dCi forever 😁
The engine may have the same consumption as previous 130 but it was better in testing process I assume. Few CO2 g less I guess. Same situation with Fiat 1.4 16V and 1.0 turbo in Tipo. I was considering 130 as an option. But when I learned that it is 3 cylinder, mild hybrid, new construction I am sceptical about its durability. So far this engine is new, and running in only one Renault. Also new Espace will get it, with bigger electric engine... Therefore I will be deciding for an ECO-G option. The cost calculation makes the decision.
@@Urcek If it in practice has the same consumption (because you have to burden it more) and if the lower emissions are thus only theoretical - then there’s no benefit and this is just complicating a thung that works whereas the former engines are done rationally. The regulations and euro nirms do not promote better developement and engineering, they promote workarounds and male engines more expensive but the end result is questionable. The old 1.3 150 tcw had similar consumption and acrually better efficiency per power. If a weaker 130 hp engine consumes the ~same as a more powerful it means co2 emmissions are worse if you look at the effect of that burn. More power and same emissions than weaker engines on average = less emissions per unit of power. Testers on youtbe report around 7 liters of consumption for the new engine. Rougly what they reported for the 1.3 150 tce (7.5 l).
Beautiful and modern! Haters gonna hate as usual!
Thank you for reporting so accurate the different boot spaces 👍 this is a very meticulous interior review !
Thank you very much!🙏
I love my 2018 Logan and would happily get this new Duster IF Dacia hadn't ditched the amazing 1.5 diesel engine.

Thank you! No, my car will arrive in a couple of days now🤩

very good video, each detail has ben shown clearly, but you could have added voice over , that would be pretty cool !!

Super! 👍
perfect.
Will you test the sound system when you get your duster?
Of course 💪💪
The big question for me is how good is the New Duster in off vs the old ones
We will test it out!💪💪
I gotta say the car looks much more robust, and larger, more agressive
I wonder what the next Sandero, Logan etc will look like

Good question. We will probably find out in a couple of years.
Little 48V 0.38 kWh for Suzuki mHEV around 3000 EUR :( This is reason, why I want change the car at the end of the warranty.
