My husband made a craft room for me to surprise me. It’s amazing!!!!
Wow! He's a keeper! 🥰 That is so great! Happy crafting to you for sure!
I am not in my forever home yet so I have spare rooms I could use but don’t want to get dug in here. I’m trying to send a message to the Universe that I want to move so it will flow, if that makes sense. But once I am in my forever home (I’m retired and a recent empty-nester)I have plans to have a full-blown craft room!
Does your husband have a twin?
@@sonyiawinfield3020no but he will have regrets lol
You are a very nice lady! I like the way you explain everything, great ideas! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for the great tips, I need all the help I can get in my craft room 😂
Me too!
you really have some great and inexpensive ideas! Thank you.
Great video. Thanks for sharing your craft room.
So many great ideas. I need to take everything out of my room and start over!!!
One of the more useful craft room tours I have watched.
Those are some great ideas! My craft room is always a work in progress trying to find what works best with the space and cabinetry that have! Thanks!
Love the over the door and nail polish shelf
Hello, this video was very helpful. I am in my dining room at the moment and cannot wait to move in my son's old room and use some of these ideas.
I love your craft room!! Mine is a mess!! I need to get busy!😊
Nicely done!. I especially like the canvas storage idea, the hat hooks for wreaths, gluing the cart cups together. My "studio" also a small bedroom is used for my music practice (3 saxophones and lots of music papers) and my crafting. So it is also packed.
Thank you so much for this video! I have a craft room the same size as yours but everything is just jammed in wherever I can find a hole. Your video gives me ideas for my own space and what I can do within it.
Happy New Year Mam!
I started following you about 2 weeks ago. In your little round photograph I thought you were older than you are. Tonight is the first time I have seen you. I like how you state where you bought your accessories so you know hopefully I and orders can still buy them.
I moved out of my Mom's a year after she passed away. I was hoping to buy out my siblings but I was not able to. I had the funds to do so but the house as is without upgrades but higher powers wanted a larger pay out. I had to move out fast given a month to vacate and do I am in a tiny tiny apartment. 2 small closets , not a big linen closet to speak of and no bathroom vanity so I found clear sterlite boxes with holes in them I zip ties together and made shelves that fit snug in-between the commode and the sink. I bought navy canvas boxes from Dollar Tree to put craft supplies in, in the linen closet but find myself pulling everyone out to find what I need. So then I typed out the supply list and with sewing clips I have the list on the outside. They do not always keep there shape and now I want to get the clear boxes like you have.
I greatly need storage for decorations made from crafting friends but most are seasonal so all the Christmas can go together and Valentine's etc.
My dad as a housewarming gift years ago gave me a double long dry sink. On the top are plants with kicknacks but no shelves just an open area. My Dad was going to build me shelves but he is having health issues but, I love your shoe rack holder idea with the boards in between. Great idea they may work.
I make a lot of note cards and have the big books of Christmas craft paper, Valentine's and I haven't an idea how to store them. I like your idea with those secretary type of slots but I just do not have room for cabinets and other furniture. I would love to squeeze in a white bookcase for paper, my rubber stamps, other supplies plus FABRIC. I am a seamstress and I see a lot for others and craft sales and make my own winter lined slacks, etc. I am literally overwhelmed and got all my jewerly making and card making I stand in my kitchen. No counter space to speak of. I have a lououn board over the large stainless steel sink and that's my desk. I have a disabled leg so I can only stand for so long.
Your video is super and you haven given me some great ideas.
Blessings, Rebekah in VA
Great ideas! I discovered through many re-organizations (LoL) that I really like making kits of tools and their supplies to make crafts. For example, those dollar tree container with the hinged lids (shown in the video with the grey split lid) are perfect to store my small detail glue gun, silicone mat to catch drips and a bag of glue sticks. I use another one for rub & buff paints, brushes and clear disposable gloves, small paper plates, a small sprayer with rubbing alcohol and microfiber cloths. Another one holds my heat gun. Another one holds a rotary box cutter and extension cord. They stack right next to my desk so everything I need with the main item is altogether. Thank you for sharing your space and storage ideas. You've inspired me to better organize my card making stamp collection and inks.
This inspires me and depresses me all at the same time! 😂 I have SO MUCH STUFF!!! I've tried all sorts of organizing techniques. I really love how you designed your desk. I too have dreamt of getting a Dream Box, but just can't see paying that much. I will start planning on making my own after seeing yours. Thank you for the inspiration! Happy crafting!❤
Hi there, please let me tell you that I have also made the same desk for my craft space (I don’t have a room, I’m in my dining room) and I absolutely LOVE it!
Wow! 🤩 the florals organization
I love love love your wall of paint!
I like a lot of your ideas. I do find that labeling everything with a label maker makes things easier to find also.
Thank you sooooo much for sharing your space with us! I have taken over the dining room in my apartment and I have been having major problems with the whole storage solutions! I hope you don’t mind, but I’ve copied your DIY desk and I absolutely LOVE it!!! It has helped me add some space, but at the same time I’ve lost some space lol 🤷🏼♀️. So after watching, I’m going to keep an eye out for that sale at Michael’s and hopefully I can find some of those storage solutions that will help me! Thank you again!!! Happy New Year! 🎊
I just wanted to let you know that I also ordered the nail polish holders for my paints as well and I can’t wait to get them up and my paint visible! Thanks Lisa!!
Such great ideas for my craft room after I get it cleaned up!! Thank you so very much!!
A lot of GREAT ideas, Thank you.
Great video thanks for sharing
Your craft room looks great! I'm working on getting my craft room organized, it's just taking longer than I had hoped. Thanks for sharing.
I just cleaned out my craft room and been looking for ways to utilize my walls such as peg boards but you gave me all sorts of ideas! Thank you!
I love the way you use the laundry basket 🧺 for florals
Hi, this is my first time watching your channel. When you showed the canvases i got an idea for myself and im sharing it with you and everyone else. To avoid canvases or any othe roll to roll up i thought of purchasing magnetic circles, tapes whatever works to hold them down and will be easier to work with later on. The magnetic circles will be one on front and one on the back. Or you can just use one and a metal piece to weight it down. I hope i explained myself and not confuse anyone.
I have a nice craft room too. I used the cube boxes like you used for your desk on the shelf in my closet. They fit perfectly. Love the narrow nail polish shelves
I’m like you. I have t see what I have. Out of sight out of mind.
And I’m just the opposite!
I want my stuff put away, behind doors!
Seeing it makes me feel like it’s not “put away”!😂
Thank you for making this video. So many great ideas ❤
Love your craft room.
I would love a craft room like this! Great job
Very good ideas! Thank you!
Getting my craft room organized. I need a good desk. You gave me great ideas. Thank you
❤ Great ideas!
Great ideas! Thanks for sharing!
I love your Craft room and I thought deeply about buying a Dreambox too a couple of years ago but I decided on buying the white traditional style build your own cabinets from the big box stores. I’m not gonna sugercoat it… it takes patience to put them together but I love my craft room to be calming to my eye so I can focus on my project at hand. (Just me and my ocd) 😂 .. I love it and I can do my projects in my spare bedroom Crafting space with a calming pace. I have upper cabinet’s and my lower cabinet’s with a large piece of plywood painted to look like quartz with resin coat across the top as a desk.. I do a lot of DIY projects for my Home and working on them in my spare time. I am planning on starting a small business too. My Husband just built me a cute Garden shed which I plan to add dried flowers to my projects as well. We love to Garden.
That's such a great idea using plywood as your desk top - I'm going to have to try that!
These are all great suggestions. Thank you.
I bought storage cubes with and without doors plus some sterilite drawer units which holds most of my craft supplies. I have a cart just for cricut. I also have a few carts. Bookshelves and pegboards are handy for storage too.
Great ideas. TFS!
Hi Lisa, thanks for so many great organizing ideas. I enjoyed watching your video!!!
❤
This was an an awesome video. Thank you so much. Happy New Year 🎈🩵🎈🩵🎈🩵
I subscribed to your channel after watching this video!! I like to watch craft room organization videos. I too follow Clutterbug. I binge watched your organization playlist. Anyway looking forward to watching more of your content. You have given me some great inspiration because I really need it. Unfortunately it will take me longer than two days cause I’ve got chronic health issues but I’m determined to declutter and organize it the way I want it. Tfs.
Hi there, I just wanted to let you know that I also suffer from illness and extreme pain and fatigue from my fibromyalgia and lower back pain and I was able to get my craft space organized by doing exactly what you are doing (watching videos)! I just want to encourage you to do it and I’ll keep encouraging you! You can do it! *gentle hugs* and a high five! 😊
@@Theresa-WhimsicalGreetingsI have the exact same health problems, fibromyalgia and degenerative disc disease. I need to organize my craft room, but can only do a little bit at a time. This takes so long and then I give up because it seems like I’m not making any progress. It would be so nice if I had help, but I live alone and have to do everything myself, as much as I can anyway. I just need to make myself finish so that my craft space would feel welcoming. Right now not so much.
I love the rolling bin I got one from beside the road
Great craft room!
Thanks for sharing . Love your tips!
I love your craft room and storage solutions -- thanks for sharing!
Awesome job!! It looks great!
Loads of great ideas!! I just subscribed…. I love it!
Great ideas ty❤
Thanks, great ideas. I subscribed!
Thank you so much!!!!
I love your craft room and I saw some new ideas that will help. I love Dollar Tree storage containers, I have many of them and they work great and the price is right. I’m a new subscriber from California.
What do you do with the orange hot wheel tracks? Yes,, I noticed them on the side of your signs. I love the video. I want to try to make one myself to show how I store my crafts buy not sure how to go about it.
i made my diy dreambox out of those bookcases. the bookcases need hinges attached and rollers on the feet. This will allow you to fold and close into a box.Total project costed less than $200.
❤🎉 thank you
I would LOVE a DreamBox, but that price will never happen for us. 🤷♀️
I have to not see my stuff when I’m not using it.
We downsized into a considerable smaller home recently, and I lost my craft room.
I’m now sharing my space in the [small] guest room, and there is no closet.
Talk about that DreamBox being the ideal! 🤩
My Dreambox came in less than three weeks🎉
Thank you. New subscriber.
I use the $ tree juice serving pitchers to hold tall items. especially up on higher shelves. ( sans the lids)
I would take the backs off the bookcases and pull them out from the walls so all your containers could sit flush with the shelves.
❤❤❤
You could save the money in 3 months waiting for it!!😊
Probably have to pay up-front 😢
I’ve been doing the same for well over a month
💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
The first part you show see through bins in what looks like cube storage cabinets: 1) is that what it is ? Cube storage sectional ? Where to find square bins ? I find most are rectangular?
I go thru my craft supplies at the beginning of each year. If I haven't used something in that 1 year period, it goes in my donate/sell box. I am always updating my supplies and keeping things I haven't or won't use just becomes clutter
Great idea! Its best to declutter first then organize
Michaels has their organization items for sale right now.
I have done a lot with clear containers, but I don't like seeing a mess of colors and stuff inside. I bought white cubes and now realize I prefer bookshelves. 😢 I bought a couple bookshelf units and extra shelves for each. I got white photo boxes that are labeled well. I still have a cluttered look, but I'm still setting up my craft room. I got bed risers to lift my kitchen table so plastic 3-drawer units will now fit underneath. It is expensive to set up a craft room, so I have added furniture little by little over many years.
I prefer not to see all the stuff inside containers either. So I label all of my containers so I know what’s in them.
It is very nice but I myself would feel like I'm walking into Michaels instead lol
What type of heat press is that? Mine recently broke and I bought a mini to tide me over but I need a larger one also
I would love to see something for renters? Please?
I have never been in a dollar tree that had the pegboards. They sometimes have a couple peg accessories for them but never the actual board. It drives me insane.
The desk ain’t holder is a great idea
I prefer colored bins that are labeled. Not fond of clear bins.
Same
Sorry, but I had a lot of Michael’s storage cubbies and I got rid of them. They are cheaply made . I’m not saying that you’re cheap, so please don’t get offended. If using Michael’s stuff work for you, that’s fantastic!
The dream boxes are way to expensive & from what I've seen of it I just won't work for me the way it's designed won't work
It must be nice to have money. That’s all this is, showing off how much money you have. It has nothing to do with organizing. I hate when people do this and shove it in our faces that they’re better than you.
3 months?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?
