I am not in my forever home yet so I have spare rooms I could use but don’t want to get dug in here. I’m trying to send a message to the Universe that I want to move so it will flow, if that makes sense. But once I am in my forever home (I’m retired and a recent empty-nester)I have plans to have a full-blown craft room!
I have a nice craft room too. I used the cube boxes like you used for your desk on the shelf in my closet. They fit perfectly. Love the narrow nail polish shelves
I bought storage cubes with and without doors plus some sterilite drawer units which holds most of my craft supplies. I have a cart just for cricut. I also have a few carts. Bookshelves and pegboards are handy for storage too.
Happy New Year Mam! I started following you about 2 weeks ago. In your little round photograph I thought you were older than you are. Tonight is the first time I have seen you. I like how you state where you bought your accessories so you know hopefully I and orders can still buy them. I moved out of my Mom's a year after she passed away. I was hoping to buy out my siblings but I was not able to. I had the funds to do so but the house as is without upgrades but higher powers wanted a larger pay out. I had to move out fast given a month to vacate and do I am in a tiny tiny apartment. 2 small closets , not a big linen closet to speak of and no bathroom vanity so I found clear sterlite boxes with holes in them I zip ties together and made shelves that fit snug in-between the commode and the sink. I bought navy canvas boxes from Dollar Tree to put craft supplies in, in the linen closet but find myself pulling everyone out to find what I need. So then I typed out the supply list and with sewing clips I have the list on the outside. They do not always keep there shape and now I want to get the clear boxes like you have. I greatly need storage for decorations made from crafting friends but most are seasonal so all the Christmas can go together and Valentine's etc. My dad as a housewarming gift years ago gave me a double long dry sink. On the top are plants with kicknacks but no shelves just an open area. My Dad was going to build me shelves but he is having health issues but, I love your shoe rack holder idea with the boards in between. Great idea they may work. I make a lot of note cards and have the big books of Christmas craft paper, Valentine's and I haven't an idea how to store them. I like your idea with those secretary type of slots but I just do not have room for cabinets and other furniture. I would love to squeeze in a white bookcase for paper, my rubber stamps, other supplies plus FABRIC. I am a seamstress and I see a lot for others and craft sales and make my own winter lined slacks, etc. I am literally overwhelmed and got all my jewerly making and card making I stand in my kitchen. No counter space to speak of. I have a lououn board over the large stainless steel sink and that's my desk. I have a disabled leg so I can only stand for so long. Your video is super and you haven given me some great ideas. Blessings, Rebekah in VA
Thank you sooooo much for sharing your space with us! I have taken over the dining room in my apartment and I have been having major problems with the whole storage solutions! I hope you don’t mind, but I’ve copied your DIY desk and I absolutely LOVE it!!! It has helped me add some space, but at the same time I’ve lost some space lol 🤷🏼♀️. So after watching, I’m going to keep an eye out for that sale at Michael’s and hopefully I can find some of those storage solutions that will help me! Thank you again!!! Happy New Year! 🎊
Thank you so much for this video! I have a craft room the same size as yours but everything is just jammed in wherever I can find a hole. Your video gives me ideas for my own space and what I can do within it.
This inspires me and depresses me all at the same time! 😂 I have SO MUCH STUFF!!! I've tried all sorts of organizing techniques. I really love how you designed your desk. I too have dreamt of getting a Dream Box, but just can't see paying that much. I will start planning on making my own after seeing yours. Thank you for the inspiration! Happy crafting!❤
Hi there, please let me tell you that I have also made the same desk for my craft space (I don’t have a room, I’m in my dining room) and I absolutely LOVE it!
Hi, this is my first time watching your channel. When you showed the canvases i got an idea for myself and im sharing it with you and everyone else. To avoid canvases or any othe roll to roll up i thought of purchasing magnetic circles, tapes whatever works to hold them down and will be easier to work with later on. The magnetic circles will be one on front and one on the back. Or you can just use one and a metal piece to weight it down. I hope i explained myself and not confuse anyone.
I subscribed to your channel after watching this video!! I like to watch craft room organization videos. I too follow Clutterbug. I binge watched your organization playlist. Anyway looking forward to watching more of your content. You have given me some great inspiration because I really need it. Unfortunately it will take me longer than two days cause I’ve got chronic health issues but I’m determined to declutter and organize it the way I want it. Tfs.
The first part you show see through bins in what looks like cube storage cabinets: 1) is that what it is ? Cube storage sectional ? Where to find square bins ? I find most are rectangular?
I go thru my craft supplies at the beginning of each year. If I haven't used something in that 1 year period, it goes in my donate/sell box. I am always updating my supplies and keeping things I haven't or won't use just becomes clutter
I have done a lot with clear containers, but I don't like seeing a mess of colors and stuff inside. I bought white cubes and now realize I prefer bookshelves. 😢 I bought a couple bookshelf units and extra shelves for each. I got white photo boxes that are labeled well. I still have a cluttered look, but I'm still setting up my craft room. I got bed risers to lift my kitchen table so plastic 3-drawer units will now fit underneath. It is expensive to set up a craft room, so I have added furniture little by little over many years.
My husband made a craft room for me to surprise me. It’s amazing!!!!
Wow! He's a keeper! 🥰 That is so great! Happy crafting to you for sure!

I just cleaned out my craft room and been looking for ways to utilize my walls such as peg boards but you gave me all sorts of ideas! Thank you!
A lot of GREAT ideas, Thank you.
I love the way you use the laundry basket 🧺 for florals

I use the $ tree juice serving pitchers to hold tall items. especially up on higher shelves. ( sans the lids)
Such great ideas for my craft room after I get it cleaned up!! Thank you so very much!!
This was an an awesome video. Thank you so much. Happy New Year 🎈🩵🎈🩵🎈🩵
Your craft room looks great! I'm working on getting my craft room organized, it's just taking longer than I had hoped. Thanks for sharing.
I would love a craft room like this! Great job

Great idea! Its best to declutter first then organize
I’ve been doing the same for well over a month
Thank you. New subscriber.

I prefer not to see all the stuff inside containers either. So I label all of my containers so I know what’s in them.
Great ideas ty❤
You could save the money in 3 months waiting for it!!😊
Probably have to pay up-front 😢
What type of heat press is that? Mine recently broke and I bought a mini to tide me over but I need a larger one also
I prefer colored bins that are labeled. Not fond of clear bins.
