I just wanted to say thank you! I watched all of your tutorials and learned so much. My daughter got married on September 10th. I made her a white Akita rose bouquet, with Italian ruscus, a few white spray roses and surrounded underneath with dusty Miller! Oh my word. It was so beautiful. I even put the ivory beads from my bridal veil 30 years old around the top edge of stems where the ribbon began. I think it was the prettiest thing I ever did. I was really afraid at first because I didn't want to disappoint her. She loved it. And this made me very happy. So again thank you !!!
you probably dont care at all but does someone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot my password. I appreciate any help you can give me
@Isaiah Jesse I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
I made my own rose bridal bouquet. I used pink and cream roses - 10 of each colour - and also some gypsophilia to add a bit of interest. It came out lovely. So proud I made it myself.
Hi Robin, Just wanted to say thank you soooo much for your awesome videos! I'm getting married in January and we are doing our own flowers and your tips are immensely helpful. We are doing a test run of course, but I already feel so confident that we will be able to create beautiful arrangements and I also love the flower petal tip! Will definitely make sure to have enough ziplock bags on hand :)
Thank you! So helpful!! Wondering how early you can prep your flowers, removing thorns, guard petals, and leaves? Right before making bouquet? Or a day before?
Hi! I'm doing my own bridal bouquets and I have a few questions! How early before a wedding do you recommend making the bouquets and where/how should they be stored until the day of???
Thanks for your tutorial ! It encourages me to make my first diy bridal bouquet for my best fd! Although the result is not that perfect as you did, she is so touched! Carry on :)
My niece is getting having a beach wedding in Panama City, Florida in June. She wants me to make her flowers for her ceremony including her bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres. Her colors are light pink, light purple, and white. What flowers do you recommend to use at the beach?
This is soo beautifull and soo amazing!!! I'm getting married July 18th, when should I order the flowers and make them? How long will they last in the vase? Sorrry if thats a silly question...I know nothing about flowers but got an estimate and it was close to 7grand and I thought I was asking for simple things! I love the rose bouquet look and this video makes it less scary to try and do!! Thank youuu!!
After you make a bouquet or boutonnière how long before they start to turn brown. I want to do my own floral bouquets for my wedding so if I do them the day before the wedding and then put them in the fridge do you think that they would last? Any other tips
Hi, i learned so much from your videos. You do a good job with details and specifics. I have a question regarding wiring the flowers. Is that necessary??
If 23 roses are for bridesmaid, how many roses do you recommend for a bridal bouquet? Also, if someone wanted a bouquet of this size and shape but made of all carnations instead, how many carnations would you recommend for bridesmaids and bride?
I live in LA...and go to the famous Flower Mart. I first did this as a kid...when my sister had her wedding and did DIY flowers. And now I go back every month or so and pick up flowers for my wife and my best female friend. I'm a pretty ace arranger but only do what I saw the women prepping the wedding do. So, it's pretty much Ecuadorian roses arranged in the perfect dome of a bridal bouquet. I don't tie them up. I love doing it that way...because the bouquet gives you that wedding feeling but you're not sure exactly how.
you should never ever use kitchen or house scissors for cutting flowers. Always use pruners or floral scissors. You will damage the stems with normal scissors and you won't get the life span out of your flowers
Great video! but I don't agree with removing the guard petals! they are NOT ugly. they are natural beauty of the rose. It's like rose castration. people are just too crazy about "perfection" some times
