Hey, Shannon! Today I helped a neighbor that gather food (mostly fresh vegetables that are "too ugly to sell" but completely perfect for consuming) from markets and farmers and distribute it to people in need.
Now I know a little how you feel when you rescue food and other stuff from being destroyed and give it to people who needs it

It's crazy the amount of stuff these stores throw away. There should be a law against these stores for being so wasteful. But on the other hand, their waste helps so many people that really needs help. So , thank you again Shannon for doing the " dang thang ." Rock On Shannon !

Hi. Just started watching your videos. I work at Walgreens and the reasons we toss stuff that seem perfectly fine are a few reasons. Expiration date pulls, customer returns (since covid toss all returns), seasonal items like bug spray and notebook (for summer and school starts) and discontinued items they are not going to carry in stores anymore. I love your channel and I'd rather people dumpster dive than having to put up with shoplifters. It's bad and the shoplifters are now privileged telling us as they run out "its just Walgreens" or "times are tough" or "I know Walgreens policy you can't do anything" I think to normalize their actions. Not realizing them stealing makes prices go up.

Shannon you an amazing job saving so much stuff from landfills. Because of you I do the same, but I work at retailer that some stuff they tell us to throw away things and I still put it in our donation boxes either for the women and children’s shelter, pet rescue or for goodwill. I try not to throw anything away that could safe for someone else to use.

Such an awesome score!! Sorry to hear about your eye. I hope it heals quickly. I got into the school dumpster last week, with help from hubby and my daughter. We got several boxes of classroom readers. Plus a large fan that works. I don't understand why they tossed them out. There are several Little Free Libraries around. And the thrift store is not far away.. I am glad to know that you care enough to save useful things to help others. Plus it save you money too. Take care and stay safe ❤❤
