I think the earth day products are great. They do all they advertise.
I recently bought a years supply of laundry detergent, fabric softener, bleach type sheets for color and sheets for whites. And a stain treatment bar and a brush to use with it.
I use detergent sheets now too, not earth breeze but I love the ones I use and they come in a little brown box that I can just throw in the recycling when I’m done. Everyone should switch!
Used them for over 2 years!!! Amazeballs!!!
My husband and I have a nonprofit organization called Faith, Hope, Love Disaster Recovery. Our organization helps with feeding after a disaster, mucking out home after flooding, cleaning of lots and homes after tornadoes and hurricanes, and rebuilding. I stopped at our local Dollar General and they donated all of the Easter items that didn't sell. You do a wonderful thing and it fills my heart to know how much help you do. Oh by the way you are out by Pittsburgh and I'm out by Philadelphia .

Honey, as someone who spent a gratefully short time homeless and jobless (COVID sucked) I am so very GRATEFUL for what you do. There were people bringing lots of such things to the contact point near us, and we lived off of ditched, and frequently past date, food. NEVER got one single item that was actually spoiled. Not the best diet, but it's certainly better than going without food. I bought a tiny single propane burner to cook on. What I see people rescue from dumpsters makes me CRY. I saw one video of a dumpster full of blankets that had been intentionally spray-painted and shredded. WTF??? Whoever did that has obviously never tried to sleep outside when it was below 40 degrees. This is one of the biggest horrific ironies in a first world country....the discarding of food, clothing, blankets, and other perfectly sound consumer goods. People jump up and down about the landfills. START HERE. Bless you and what you do!

Im sooo proud of all the work you do for so many people. Just remember "What goes around, comes around" God will bless you for your good deeds. I'll be 81 tomorrow and ive seen some very bad things in my life and im so thankful to get to see some very goods things being done by people like you, Tara, Beth and the rest of the people you work with. I finally got to see a new dive. Way to go girl. Shannon that was amazeballs. I would love to do this, but I’m 66 way to old to be doing this with my health issues. I told my son about you, he’s 45 and he told me no he wasn’t going to do this.

My husband was 6’ 4” and am 5’ 3”, like you two a little bit of height difference. LOL. He passed away 16 years ago, so he sits on my mantle now… in a ammo box. He was a Marine for 26 years and broke his neck.

Do not say you are not an amazing person because you are an amazing person and your family is amazing as well. There are not many people that would not take the time out of their day to go and look for things in the dumpster for things that are thrown away and then donate to many organizations. To be honest some people do go out and look for things but then keep everything, there is nothing wrong with that of course, they are keeping things out of the landfill. To be real, you and every one in your crew (friends and family) including everyone that donates so that kids have food during the weekend or so kids can have their own backpack are all AMAZING. We are on your channel and follow you because you are so generous, kind and you make us laugh. Thank you for what you do and do not ever stop. 😃

Shannon I understand exactly what you were saying about finding things because you are able to give it to others in need. It is God almighty that directs our steps , He is using you to help others because you have a giving HEART. Joann's Fabric has been trashing Christmas dec., since 7-1-23 I felt like I needed to check their dumpster today and it was full of Christmas dec again. I loaded my car up again, this is 4 times for C.items. It gets overwhelming but it's so hard not to take all you can get into your car when you know it's going to the land fill. I can barely get my car into my garage. LOL AND it is hard work ( 103 deg. today)

You do all the work, you pay all the money for gas, that you work hard to earn, and the wear and tear on your car and give up time you could spend with your family to do all this dumpster diving. (3/3) ESPECIALLY especially those boxes of Nutri-Grain and mixed snack pouches and fruit snacks, too. Anything from Wal-Mart where the box can hold a small pony. But, as we have SO MANY lovely community members that make it an ongoing point to send that same choice of nutrition, a simple card or e-mail to you about it saves you ALL time and energy.

I know how you feel about the waste going to landfills. I had worked for a private trash company & saw lots of things go to the landfills. Made me sick to see the waste and see what could have been donated. 😢 Now I try not to waste at home plus as soon as I can, will try to dumpster dive again.

It's SERIOUSLY scary to think about all of the items that would end up in the landfill if there weren't so many people diving and saving so many items! Now, if we could just find a way to get stores to stop destroying items, so that those items can also be saved instead of intentionally destroyed and trashed! 😢 Dumpster diving can be really addictive! 😂😂. Ya know...I know how much fun it is to find a dumpster full of goodies, but, at the same time, I consider it a good thing when the dumpsters aren't full of unnecessary waste. So, when the dumpster is empty, or only has garbage, consider it to be a plus as well. 😊. God bless and love & light always! 🙏❤️👼🌟💫🥰
