Oh wow, that was so interesting. history was my weak subject at school, find it quite boring. Now when you grow up I find history very interesting now.
Loved it not been there for years the replica of Endeavour is docked at Whitby it's a restaurant and education center it used to be moored at Stockton but moved a couple of years ago xx
Hello Gaby & Mum 😊I love history and this was really interesting. I liked the clothes were on show 👍I always say watching history stories, when did they invent things etc like shoes, soap, toothpaste a big list ha ha. 😊😊💖💖💖
Hello gabbie and your mum and baby Casper how are you all and how is tim love your vidio of the captain james cook museum the ship endover is at Whitby best wishes take care stay safe ❤😅
Something educational for this one, even the gruesome bits about burial at sea and the final stitch. Whether your mother would appreciate the comment about her gatepost, probably not😂.
I'm really interested in seeing the Captain Cook Museum! Inspector Morse's first name 'Endeavour' came about because fictionally his Father was obsessed by Captain Cook, & Endeavour was his ship. Morse's Mum was a Quaker & Quakers give their Kids names like Hope or Patience. Hence the name Endeavour. I'm an Inspector Morse Freak as if you couldn't guess😂
@@GabyStarbuckx John Thaw (Inspectior Morse)had a lady friend in one of his last episodes & as he never mentioned his first name to anyone. She kept asking him what it was so he took her for a drink in a pub with Sargent Lewis & told her his name was Endeavour Morse. And Lewis said to him "you poor sod!"🤣
@@michaelknight2721 I've always loved Inspector Morse, tho I never really got into Lewis made after John Thaw had passed away. And I couldn't get into Endeavour. I think it was John Thaw's interpretation of Morse I loved..
I went to Whitby in the summer holidays and the museum there has some captain cook items you should try that museum too. Lots there for thumps ❤ you can go on a boat ride into the sea too 😊 xx
Very interesting. I must admit that I was not aware of there being a museum for Capt. Cook. Should I ever get to be in that part of the country (well, you never know, after all, I did get to Yarmouth for the first time last month!) I will definitely visit.
