- Isshin has become one of my favourite bosses in all the Soulsborne/Sekiro games. He gave me alot of trouble most likely 50+ deaths i even died to Genichiro a couple of times.
But overall Sekiro is a great game it goes in my top 3 Fromsoftware games with Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 but i love them all so it dont matter.

This fight is beautifully epic,the sounds of the swords clashing with the momentum building choir in the background is simply dazzling!
Posture breaking every phase with no spirit emblems left, what a god
I think that's the best way to beat him, Isshin is way too aggressive, fast, and has too many ranged options that close the game or punish passive play otherwise. If you're trying to kill him by health, you're probably making it a lot harder on yourself. I guess the final phase would be an exception, you could play around the lightning counters (I never got it to work, myself, and beat him without using that) as it takes 20% of his health, which is amazing. In my eyes the main reason he has a health bar is just so his posture recovery will slow down!
I personally loved Ichimonji in this, you can use it when he does the move (which IMO is awesome, it's like an "i can do it too, but I'll do it better"), or any time you get a mikiri counter on him (though some phases, the second ichimonji hit isn't safe from this setup). As such I didn't use spirit emblems in this fight either (I ended the game with like... 900 fucking spirit emblems lmao, you get so many!)

Thanks, I started to hesitate his posture bar was taking a long time to fill so I lost the rhythm but got it back there at the end :)

Great fight, I could really feel the struggle! Why do you hold the controller like that, btw? Got some custom remaps to make it more comfortable?
I've remaped most of the action buttons to the face buttons I can't actually move my fingers so I can't hold the controller and have to rest it on my lap so all the movement is mainly flexing my wrist and moving my arms to press buttons
@@Limitlessquad Oh, I didn't know that. It's great that there are so many options for people to play games! Great job defeating Isshin, he's my favourite boss of the game. Low posture, high defence. You have to always be in his face and be as aggressive as you can to finish it quickly. It's what Sekiro is all about, and it feels great. Hesitation is defeat!
Genichiro and Isshin felt very fair and natural, kind of like a dance.
An excellent final boss combo, despite the four bars you have to cut your way through.

Trying the Shura ending next?
That's what I'm doing.
I have done the Shura ending already and when I finished I went to ng+ by accident and didn't get to finish some stuff so I started again. I think I'll have to do it for the combat art you get for the all skill trophy
Which one are you planning to do next then? Was your Sword Saint beatdown on the 'true'/Return ending?
I skipped O'Rin on accident and still need to Shura it up, so I'm missing two for the skillz trophy.

Great job.a question why wherent you jump atacking his charged sweep on fase 2-3, it doesnt have the warning but it is the best way to dodge and you damage his posture a bit.
