What a fantastic band! Great song! Not hugely different from lots of hardcore, but I dig this sound a lot! From the city that, long ago, brought us Fearless Iranians From Hell, Marching Plague, Gloomy Gus, Crippled By Society, X-Men, Barbie's Revenge! Yeah, I'm showing my age but these 1980s San Antonio bands were incredible, just like Bitter End. It's just good to see excellent music still coming out of San Antonio, the city I grew up in. Well, considering I still go to shows & get in the pit at 52, maybe I haven't grown up!
I've heard this all before...from Madball, Suicidal, Pantera, TUI, Terror, hatebreed...But hardcore is about disillusions and extreme hard times... BIG UPS TO THESE guys and many others...
***** hmmmmmmmmmm, well these guys diserve as much as Pantera...(Which I've seen 3x).... But do you recall the Pantera look before Cowboys From hell.... This being said pantera are probably one of the 90's most influentual metalcore bands.
hanyang wu atleastit isnt a shitty band plus those guys came from nyhc scene back in a day when peter was in i think rampage? idr the name. they were more on the thrash side though.
Overcoming a conflict and finding closure strengthens bonds. Love and conflict are both existent, deal with it and see if you can find that love or find your hate.
as you can clearly see at 0:09 the singer is breaking up the fight and preventing it from stop going and therefore obviously NOT condoning it... I guess it just happened at the show and they felt like it was good footage to fit the violent music I dont think theyre trying to condone it tho come on man
See, fights have been happening at hardcore shows since god knows when, people need to get over it. I go to shows to have fun and enjoy myself. If a fight breaks out, as long as me or any of my friends are involved, then who the fuck cares? If it's all 'peace & love' in hardcore, then it wouldn't BE hardcore in the first place. I'm not saying it should be violent 24/7, but shit happens guys, go to hardcore shows to have a good time instead of worrying the scene idiots' bullshit. Word.
so you like mostly 80s old school hardcore. thats cool. i'd just call this new school new york style 90s hardcore. i wouldn't really call it "gym" hardcore.
There will always be pit beef/fights, they are not every show, and to be fair people usually step in and calm shit down. One scene unity always. But seeing muscled up guys in cut down tap-out shirts? Hmmmm.

Was looking for NIN's song and ended up here by mistake but I have no regrets. Quality stuff 😏
the vocals in this band remind me a lot of 80's thrash metal which is sick. this band does a pretty good job having a more metallic sound.
I've heard this all before...from Madball, Suicidal, Pantera, TUI, Terror, hatebreed...But hardcore is about disillusions and extreme hard times... BIG UPS TO THESE guys and many others...
Please don't group this band in with the legendary Pantera.
***** hmmmmmmmmmm, well these guys diserve as much as Pantera...(Which I've seen 3x).... But do you recall the Pantera look before Cowboys From hell.... This being said pantera are probably one of the 90's most influentual metalcore bands.
mark arpino Definitely better than racist crap like Pantera.
The guitar player of bitter end was wearing type o negative merch before it was cool
Too many scene kids kissing TON ass now lol
hanyang wu atleastit isnt a shitty band plus those guys came from nyhc scene back in a day when peter was in i think rampage? idr the name. they were more on the thrash side though.
Zachary Gauthier saw TON back in 97 knowing it wasnt « cool » but i didnt care like i still do now. I choose whatever its cool. Hahahah
Grif!
I didn't know wearing Type O merch was ever "cool".. fuckin deuche

I just noticed Walter Delgado from Rotting Out.
I wouldn't expect a guy who quotes Haddaway to understand hardcore.

Holy shit the black guy in the beginning is buff!
