California native. Been watching for a year or two. I love the culture shock of your show for Americans, like you uk vocabulary, at times I dont know what Blake or Marlon are saying, but I figure it out and I love learning your culture at the same time, sharing our love for bikes. Maybe subtitles on the really british bits but I love it hab
Blake is awesome. Blake is life. But where's Neil? Someone commented we need more stuff on XC and hardtail riders. Even though you have content on the matter it would be so nice to balance that. Don't take it the wrong way, as freeride being my favorite discipline, I'm here mostly for Blake.
One thing I've noticed in 5 years of riding BMX (racing, not freestyle), is that I can only get really huge whips on small jumps. Whenever I whip a big jump I always come off of it weird and just end up all sketchy through the air. It's not like I have any issue hitting big jumps, or doing big whips, I just can't combine the two.
Can you guys please do more extreme stuff on hardtails? Like full face helmet level extreme on hardtails? To help out the guys with trail hardtails like me here!
Hey Gmbn just a quick question i want to ride a line at whistler (next year hopefully) but I was wondering how big the starting drop is as its my biggest fear
GMBN could, but they won't. Their target demographic for advertisers is, most likely, heavily "youth focused." Most riders under 30 are all about downhill / park nonsense, sick tricks, and posting slow-mo GoPro videos to social media.
"park nonsense" What makes more fun. Riding down or up. Hmm i think it makes more fun to hustle up a mountain then to ride down having jumps be fast and style.
Dean Morris poor ventilation, etc. I prefer the versatility of a half shell helmet. To be fair though, if you’re practicing tricks or stuff and riding DH, I’d go for a full face. But for like an all day pedal or something involving uphill pedalling I’d say go for the normal style, I recently got one of the protec full cut helmets and they provide a bit more protection for your ears/head without being a full face.
Yea, maybe i gonna make a video of it tomorrow or in the Weekend. i'm now filmin on my gopro hero 3+ but i think of to buy i Hero 5 Black, ;D should i go for it?
@01:51 That entire section reminded me on how to cross the gorge in front of the Forest Castle in Nier:Automata without using the bridge leading to it. Sounded familiar: ruclips.net/video/fifc8HarMQo/видео.html

No issues with assembly for me ruclips.net/user/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L but I could see where some might benefit from using an experienced bike assembler/mechanic. I'm an older rider starting back after a 10 year break. This bike exceeds my capabilities and has been easy to get comfortable riding. I'm mostly on easy trails with almost no street riding and have not been disappointed with the performance of the bike. My fitness level is far below what I previously rode with and because of that the mileage is going on the bike slowly. While I'm losing weight slowly, the bike seems to tolerate my 220 pounds just fine. The bike has been used by several family members ranging from 5'5" - 5'9".
Blake there is a guy on RUclips called Dave Jenvey....please please please help him, before he seriously takes himself out. I am in no way connected to him, I enjoy watching his videos because it’s like a fails and bails mini series, but he will eventually end up hurt badly
Well no shit Sherlock these guys have to make a video everyday pay employees bikes camera equipment and that money doesn't come out of thin air oh and you are complaining about a little 30 second clip where he shows his bike and doesn't even talk about it
Blake shreds so hard, makes everything look so easy
Deep down inside you feel like you're missing something. Yep its your chain. Fell off about 10 feet ago
Hahaha

Nose bonks are also fun. Easy to do small as well.
Deep down inside you feel like you're missing something. Trails that aren't 2 1/2 hours away from you.
Gabriel Leute this is the same for me!! 😔
Ik it sucks! 😭
2 words, street mtb... you can do this stuff anywhere
Спасибо! К сезону пригодится. 🤘🏻
Great episode. Thanks Blake!

David leu ok, I'll get on it.
Blake Samson yes Blake! Do it! :)
I'd love to take a lesson from Blake.
GMBN, I like your videos, but they are almost are for enduro/trail. Can you make something similar for hardtail xc riders?
They do some XC videos as well, especially climbing and cadence techniques
GMBN could, but they won't. Their target demographic for advertisers is, most likely, heavily "youth focused." Most riders under 30 are all about downhill / park nonsense, sick tricks, and posting slow-mo GoPro videos to social media.

Nero Wolfe that's pretty much how I would discribe my riding 😂
Timothy Perrins i know dude
0:10 Blake lands roughly :P
(cut scene before he falls off)
#askgmbn #askblake When you whip the bike do you whip towards your back foot or the front foot??
Should I wear a full face helmet to practise this? Nice vid as always
If your going to wear a helmet anyway why not wear full face? I'm a dentist. Mid face trauma sucks.
Dean Morris poor ventilation, etc. I prefer the versatility of a half shell helmet.

Jesper Heldgaard sick!!!
Yea, maybe i gonna make a video of it tomorrow or in the Weekend.
i'm now filmin on my gopro hero 3+ but i think of to buy i Hero 5 Black, ;D should i go for it?
Jesper Heldgaard totally worth it, if you can buy it, then you can have 2 cameras and get different angles and whatnot
The Majestic Hawk you're right :) and then I can make much more awesome videos to my subscribers :D
What's happenning with those nukeproof bikes!? Where are the canyon'sand scott's?
this is for beginners?! jeeez i feel like a newborn on the trails then
Hmmm, lets say beginners in the sense that you don't know any tricks yet...but are fully aware of how to ride and jump a bike then 😁
Blake, are you riding the mega 275 or 290?
simonExplorer 275
simonExplorer 27.5 buddy
How to toboggan plss
#askgmbn what does different Internal rim width do
Whats the name of this bike
Maybe Rebecca? Just a guess 😂 Haha Jk I know you mean the make and model, it's a Nukeproof Mega.
Blake's trail bike is from the video downhill bike vs trail bike.
0:52 if you dont have the memes xDD
We need jumps like this on the trail :(
Why not stop your tyre in a tyre grab? I do it, it's fine. You can spin it back the other way for extra steez.
could we please also have a slightly more advanced list please
How do you upload everyday!!
*For beginners only*
I'm gonna learn some Indian Air and Tail Whip then
Saddle grab!
And the whip??
Ive had a video on fail of the day
I almost crashed yesterday because I took my hand off vertically and missed the bars
Local trails? What's that?
@01:51 That entire section reminded me on how to cross the gorge in front of the Forest Castle in Nier:Automata without using the bridge leading to it. Sounded familiar: ruclips.net/video/fifc8HarMQo/видео.html
Where are you?
Louis Amoroso I'm here
Haha love your sense of humour 👌. But I meant what bike park or place in England? Looks sick!
Thinks it's the Black mountains bike centre... not 100% though
I swear that if you do a tire grab properly you should pull the tire back towards you
Great video but please more xc

Instead of blake doing all the tricks why dont you teach doddy and neil
Owen Preece well Blake knows what he is doing
pretty sure neil would know how to. back in his racing days he would always be at dirt jumps
Oh Blake please sort that mess of cables..
" you dont have to the biggest one hander ever".
what if you just get high and follow birds of prey on your trail bike...do I need tricks lol
my favourite kind of riding! though a jump or two never hurt. unless you are flying higher...
Hahahaha 😂😂😂
just 1 short of making a top 6 tricks... maybe next one
#askgmbn Blake how tall are you? What size are your bikes?
eugeniokdf #answer I’m 5ft10” and I’m riding a medium Nukeproof in this video but I feel a large will be better
Blake there is a guy on RUclips called Dave Jenvey....please please please help him, before he seriously takes himself out. I am in no way connected to him, I enjoy watching his videos because it’s like a fails and bails mini series, but he will eventually end up hurt badly
got long enough cables? lol
Fi
those long cables on the bike look horrible
Its not a trail bike. Trail bike is from 120 mm to 150mm
4th comment
U forgot casing hahaha
8 dislikes probably from jealous scooter kids
First
Bro Ballers you are third not first
"begginer tricks" :/
Lately GMBN videos are made fo product placement only.
Francesco Magni really?
Yes, really. This video is a product placement for Nukeproof. e.g. the last 30 seconds.
Well no shit Sherlock these guys have to make a video everyday pay employees bikes camera equipment and that money doesn't come out of thin air oh and you are complaining about a little 30 second clip where he shows his bike and doesn't even talk about it
South african?
The only trick I'm going to learn is to be able to ride my local XC-courses fater! Not any of this jumping foolishness!
kalijamies sounds boring and pale. Have some style and class
GCN can teach you endurance and speed techniques.
kalijamies whimp
BEGINNER TRICKS??? WTF? What class is there before beginner?
