I remember going to my local boot shop that sold Red Wings & Weinbrenner in the late 1970s & asking if they sold White’s… owner said to me “never heard of them!”
We've been building American-made boots since 1843, we're proud to share our story. In our early days, the primary focus was on loggers, miners, and mill workers. Once mastering the logger boot with two different patents, Otto White, third generation bootmaker, went after every other kind of work boot. After spending more than 20 years studying the anatomy of the foot, Otto found his way to a ‘scientifically built’ boot. It was in 1926 the Arch-Ease comfort was trademarked. The boots built in the Great Depression are the boots we still wear today. The finest boots we make at White’s are built as true hand-sewn stitchdown boots. Since our founding in 1853, we have been perfecting and protecting the practice of one of boot-making’s oldest and most technically demanding skills: hand-welting. Buying a White’s hand-sewn stitchdown boot is stepping into a long history of craft, dedication, and old-world quality that is increasingly rare, and enduringly valuable. We are proud to say that our boots are still hand-lasted, hand-welted, and hand-bottomed by an American worker in our Spokane, WA factory 170 years later If interested, you can read more about our legacy here: whitesboots.com/our-legacy/ And our construction styles here: whitesboots.com/construction/
Leather laces are dumb and y’all’s nylon are garbage. I have the semi dress and the eyelets just tear up the leather laces. Hate that I buy a 600-800$ pair of boots and have to spend another like 150$ on kilties, laces, and leather care products to have the shoe in proper working condition.
They are the best boots I’ve ever worn. I’ve had four pairs and would buy them again no matter what the hell the price is.
That means a lot to us, Mark. Thank you for your continued support.

Looks simply great
i definitely need a pair of thoose !
*What line of work do people use tall boots for? Just curious.*
Quite a few! Wildland firefighters, loggers, and lineman are a few examples. The tall upper helps provide protection.
Cuts right at the important step
Alright I'll bite. Why pick these over a pair of Red Wings?

Very cool
I just use paracord. Handy, strong and comes in dozens of colours
@@MoonbeameSmithI use paracord but remove the inner filament strings so they become flat laces.
@@johnnyhorizon8368 My boots have those speed hooks so round is easier/better.. Plus I can use the inner filaments as tinder should the need arise
Leather laces are 10 dollars
it's faster if you use two hands.
