@@blackmamba...814 no. It's not a friend to our faith. Jesus has never said to anyone that frustration is our friend. Jesus uses EVENTS in our lives for relationship building with him, and to handle frustration for His purpose with His strength, not ours. It has nothing to do with us.
Find me a Proverb or Psalm that specifically states that frustration is our friend.

Don't come with where verses of Peter being imprisoned or chased out of town. That's not frustration, that's abiding in Christ. All throughout the Bible, I haven't found the word frustration yet. Nor Jesus stating it's our friend. Jesus clearly states He is our friend. Anything Jesus uses to grow us is Jesus'.
