I’m simply no longer agreeing with the lies they’re believing, and defending what God says about stuff! The rejection is so difficult, especially when it comes to my adult daughters, who want to live in sin with boyfriends...husband rejected God 15 yrs ago. A pastor said that’s when the divorce started. I was growing spiritually and he wanted outta here!?!
@@lorischellenberg3219 when God exposes some truths to you and people around you want to hide beihind being in love or simply "that's just what happens in life"... It's so hard. I stopped dating (be ause I felt God had a plan bigger than dating) and then my mother started dating... My dad passed on 2019... But she now defends everything about dating... she's dating someone's husband too!!! So I know how that rejection feels like... And then she wants to give me advice when some men hit on me😭 it's just sickening.. Sin is sin, period

God I needed this. This has cost me a life of addiction and many failed relationships. Im just now trying to arrest this demon but I'm not sure how to get lasting change in this area. In the name of JESUS I bind up the spirit of insecurity (Matt 16:19); of fear that’s stopping you from living the life GOD has planned for you from long ago (Jeremiah 29:11). May you become aware of the Spirit of Love, power, and self discipline (2Tim. 1:7) GOD has blessed you with, of the authority that CHRIST Himself has blessed you with to overcome the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19-20) and demolish every stronghold that comes against GOD’s will for you (2Cor. 10:3-5). Know that you are not alone (1Peter 5:8-9) that GOD hears and sees you, that people are praying for you, and GOD will bless you with the spiritual as well as practical resources to overcome insecurity (such as this sermon). May your relationships and self esteem be healed, in JESUS name, Amen.
Do the necessary work. Pray AND do the work, God doesn’t help those who don’t help themselves. Seek help if you can’t see your own mistakes.

This was a timely word! I'm reading Relational Intelligence and then I hear Dr. Daniels speaking about insecurity in relationships in this sermon. I feel insecure in my relationships because my friends have been hurt in the past and it blocks our intimacy with each other. Everyone (including me) is defending and guarding themselves and then when I try to go out on a limb, I sometimes receive rejection or a lack reciprocity from my own friends because of their own hurts. I try to focus and be grateful on what is being given to me but often times I do feel used because I'm over giving. I'm not doing it to get something in return, God knows that's not the case. I'm doing it out of the love of my heart but when it's a pattern that I do significantly more, I feel insecure like which friend outside of God, got me?Who's there to support me when I fall? But then that sounds selfish and then I feel guilty & that cycle of thinking persists. Anyone feel me? My prayer is for friends that are more emotionally and spiritually mature and secure than I am who I can learn & glean from. That way I can pour from a full tank when with others.

I need to meet you. I feel like beyond all pastors ive heard, your sermons are extremely personal to me. You’re sermons got me out of a toxic relationship, moved me back closer to people that care for me, helped me battle social anxiety through God. Then had a major emotional breakthrough which healed me in alot of ways. And now you’re helping my blindness to the issues i feel i might still have while healing. I just need to speak with you, i feel like we are connected.. idk Im only 22 but i feel like you’re like the best versions of Gods word I can have in my life because you wear the face and embody familiarity and relatability. One day i will hopefully have the pleasure of going to your church again and speak with you.
Preach pastor. I feel this so strong. I was there for my daughter while she went to school for 4 years. Took care of her children, help pay her Bill's, cooked her family meals etc. While taking care of my husband who was on hospice. When he died and she got her degree she just abandoned me. I am crushed. Thank you for Exposing my pain so I can heal

I think I've watched Insecurity part 1 before, but I tend to rewatch your videos to stay grounded and enlightened. There are so many great points and references in this sermon - you do an awesome job breaking down scripture. You would have been an awesome lawyer because of your intentionality and delivery, but....you would have touched a select number of people. So, God directed you down a better path where you can reach the masses - people like me in Atlanta, GA and others all over the world. Thank you Pastor Dharius 💕
Struggling with my progress. Extremely depressed at this point and I feel like I have acted foolishly and dropped my faithfulness to God because I’m so focused on wanting to make more money, and find love in a man. The devil has been playing on it.
