To me that intro sounded as an hommage to Blackened with the reversed guitar audio and such, absolutely digging it, can't wait for my record to arrive already!

Unlike Blackened which was just *"let's play the riff backwards because it sounds cool"* the intro riff in Post Truth Era is actually the final riff played in Don't Do It, the final track on the album, making the album a Perfect loop! It also shows up in Panpsychism too!

The vocals are definitely Chuck Schuldiner influenced. I like it.

Havok was a part of the mid 2000s Thrash Revival. There was a bunch of new Thrash bands that popped up from 2005 onwards... Warbringer, Evile, Havok, Bonded by Blood, Suicidal Angels, Revocation, Hatchet, Hexen, Hyades, Rumplestiltskin Grinder, and Trivium, just to name of few that I collect. Then in 2012, there was a second wave of these thrash bands...like Dust Bolt and Game Over. Game Over sounds a bit like Nuclear Assault. Suicidal Angels sounds like Slayer with more fitting vocals. Evile sounds like old school Metallica.

Nothing wrong with some straight forward metal. This was well played. Nice and agressive. For at least fourteen years Megadeth was my absolute favourite, so I listened to thrash for a long time. My metalworld evolved and nowadays I'm more a fan of technical melo death. Try 'Freedom of Fear-the Abstract Venom' or 'Purgatorium'. Keep the good content coming.

The intro and first riff remind me of Metallica - Dyers Eve. When the vocals come in, it feels more like Kreator.

The lyrics are so true! Your reaction is exactly what I think about this song! Thank you for your reaction. By the way, Spiritbox is my actual favourite band too 😉

Yeah !! Love that modern thrash band. It’s a new song. Try others like « hang em high » or « from the cradle to the grave « enjoy 🤘🏽

Awesome video!! If you get a chance... Please check out some warbringer. Couple great suggestions are Heart of Darkness, glorious end, and remain violent. All their stuff is good, just a couple starters
