- Former law and external affairs minister Salman Khurshid called senior lawyer, scholar, and writer Abdul Ghafoor Noorani who recently passed away “erudite” and “courageous”.
“He was a scholar extraordinary, undoubtedly erudite, courageous, and inexhaustible in his research. He would search through piles of dust and documents, even before the days of the internet,” Khurshid said during a memorial meeting held for late Noorani at the India International Centre (IIC) in New Delhi.
