EN RACHACHANT (Straub-Huillet, 1982)

Esse é um curta da dupla Straub & Huillet que eu gosto muito. É um filme um tanop esquisito e interpretar suas mensagens é uma atividade difícil. Afinal, a educação é ou não essencial? Certamente um debate datado e localizado: na França dos anos 80. Para o Brasil não sei se chegamos nesse ponto. Enfim, vejam aí, comentem o que lhes parece.

The opening scene reminds me of my parents only my mother was in the kitchen peeling potatoes and my father in the living room his head buried in a newspaper. Both wanted to be somewhere else and so did I. I liked the metaphor when the kid took out a stick of gum and began chewing. As if he were chewing on the enlightened thoughts of M. le professeur. Ca ne vaut rien: in-evi- table-ment!
