Thank you for sharing your opinion, I agree with you in a lot of things. The thing which frustrates me the most is that, Miraculous now being a children´s Show is NO excuse for having such bad and lazy writing. Yes, look at Cardcaptor Sakura, look at Avatar - the last airbender! A good Show may of course have a target group. But, you know, I am 22 years old and I still love to watch Avatar, I believe I love it even more comparing to when I was still a child, because I now have a much deeper understanding of how well that Show was put together; not just regarding plot and character development but because of all those little details and important topics like child abuse for example, which are adressed so naturally, so thoughtful and responsible. Miraculous had the potential to be a great Show and it makes me so sad how all that it really only seems to get worse at this point. So yeah, if you feel comfortable and have the time for flashing out your Image of "the miraculous tales of the miraculous", I would love to see that. :)

First of all, your animatics and videos are such a hallmark of the MLB fandom, I still rewatch them to this day!

Jeremy Zag has a comic coming out, I don't remember exactly when, but it covers more of Gabriel's background and what happened. Like what happened to Emily, and why it happened, etc. Just throwing that out there in case you didn't know.
Thomas should get on his hands and knees thanking the fanfiction writers and animatic makers who keep this thing alive but no he mocks them instead.
When I say I love Miraculous Ladybug... well, I guess what I'm saying is that I love the world in the show?
I like the Miraculous themselves, I like the lore, I like the potential.
With the inclusion of the comics and the New York special, I love the other heroes we get introduced to; I want to know more about them, about how heroes function worldwide.
My biggest problem probably would be the general lack of character progression. I LOVE Chloe, but every time she's had a small bit of actual development, it gets ripped away, and that is FRUSTRATING. I WANT to see her grow and learn, I WANT to see that people can change. There is so much POTENTIAL there. Chloe REJECTED an AKUMA, something NO ONE ELSE has done! Then Astruc just comes up and says her entire character arc is refusing to change?! She HAS changed, but the show keeps forcing her back for NO reason! Why give her redeeming moments at all if that's what you were going for?!

Honestly, I don't really care about the changing of seasons, or about the colors, or the changing of clothing. Yeah it's a nice touch, but honestly that's all superficial things. A lot of good shows don't show the progression of seasons, or have the main characters change clothing (or rarely have them changed). The clipping and things from the models are annoying but if they aren't super bad then those I can live with as well. I can pass over all of those nitpicky things. (The constant variations between the studios however was horrible, and the drop in quality was even worse.)
I will admit, I had not seen the animated thing for Ladybug until after I had seen the 3D animation. I could go one way of the other with the animation itself. I like the 3D, but I could have also gotten into the animated style, though imo I think the 3D styling is better. After I watched the animated trailer though, I am glad that they changed things around with the characters. I get really tired of the 'hot guy treats average girl like crap but loves her alter ego' troupe REALLY fast. It is one that shows lean far too much on, and frankly? For me it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. You can get away treating them like that because you are rich, good looking, popular? No. Just, no.
I can do without knowing back story on how everything fell into place with Hawkmoth getting his miraculous, I would love to get bits and pieces of it, but I don't need them to spell it out for me. I like that some things in the show are unanswered, It keeps me wanting to come back to see if I can puzzle it out. The lack of things being carried over is super annoying, but at the same time, I get things not happening over night. If Chloe has an arch for her redemption, I think it should be something she works on and struggles with for awhile. Having a character change how they acted previously from one episode isn't realistic. They would still fall back into those same patterns of what they were used to, even if they were trying at it, because it's what they were used to. They could break it yes, but it would take time and effort.
The biggest problem, and the problem I see a lot of shows like this fall into, is that when they focus on making it "for kids" they dumb it down, move the characters into a narrow hole of what they were supposed to be, and leave it at that, because 'kids would never understand anything more in depth'. We also have to, as the upper age bracket of what they had been aiming for, understand that shows like this are meant to attract the attention of people younger than us, who don't look in depth at a show. It by no means should be dumbed down like they did, but it is going to hit a point of reputation that will get us annoyed.
MLB has a lot of good points, and a lot of low points (like giving away everything that is going to happen in a season) as well, in the end though there isn't much that we can change if the studio itself decides to go in a different direction. It's sad seeing a show loose good protentional, but at the same time I have seen so many shows fall into this that, at this point, I just go find fan works I like better, or find fellow like minded fans to have fun mixing up the show with.
I do love your animatics, and I agree with you that the potential of this show is limitless. I think part of it is because the show in cannon did not really go into detail of the rules as well as the lore as much as I think it should have.
As for your current rewrite - I would like to throw in a suggestion of someone in the order - either Fu or someone new that might have a connection to Gabriel directly - to be the teacher of Marinette and Adrien and teach them the full potential of their power as right now, the show has Ladybug doing most of the work; and in contrast, Chat Noir barely does nothing else except for his one move and being a bodyguard for ladybug. So maybe really focusing on the duality of Creation and Destruction more.
Either way, I do love your work, and I can't wait to see what else you have! Hope you are doing well otherwise as well. :)

Season 4 has been looking good and I would recommend watching it. But they still release the episodes out of order
