Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP)
Vaccine Safety Technical (VaST) Work Group
ACIP meetings are open to the public
VaST session on May 17, 2021
Included several presentations on myocarditis following mRNA vaccines
Reports from
Department of Defense (DoD)
Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS)
Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD)
Veteran’s Administration (VA)
Clinical Immunization Safety Assessment (CISA)
VaST concluded that there are relatively few reports of myocarditis
Cases seem to occur
predominantly in adolescents and young adults,
more often in males than females,
more often following dose 2 than dose 1, and
typically within 4 days after vaccination
Most cases appear to be mild
Follow-up of cases is ongoing

The politicians don't make those decisions. The medical professionals do. As it happens, with AZ in the UK,169 females and 138 males have suffered from the clots associated with low platelet counts, so Johns suggestions based on the J&J vaccine are wide of the mark for the UK.

If the ivermectin works, it will be kept quiet by msm, big pharma, too much money making involved. What is the mechanism of vaccine induced myocarditis and how many vaccinated people are walking around with mild asymptomatic heart damage?
"What is the mechanism of vaccine induced myocarditis" Unknown
My _personal theory_ would be something like loose spike glycoprotein (or some spike glycoprotein subunit) travels to the heart, binds with ACE2 receptor on cardiac cells, the resulting glycoprotein-ACE2-receptor complex is flagged by the immune system as not-self, eliciting production of antibody against this complex. Because of individual variation, some subset of individuals produce this antibody while others don't.
This proposed mechanism would also explain why Corona-chan herself induces myocarditis as well as why people who have been exposed to Corona-chan and are then vaccinated are more likely to develop myocarditis. They are being exposed multiple times to the spike glycoprotein.
"how many vaccinated people are walking around with mild asymptomatic heart damage?" Unknown and unknowable, unless large segments of the population are screened for it. Should also be specific here and note that myocarditis is not itself the same thing as heart damage. If myocarditis is severe it _can lead to_ the formation of scar tissue, which damages the heart.
The important thing would be to put the elevated risks of these vaccinations in comparision to the risks of the illness they are supposed to mitigate. As was recently said, nobody higher up wants to talk about simple treatments in early stages, God forbid even simple precautionary measures besides you know what...

because in order for the vaccines to keep being used there couldnt exist a recognised therapy, at least EMA approved them under such premises. Given that its quite obvious why, because it would stop vaccine campaign even if preliminary therapies ar much much more effective, its a scam trap.
A vaccine is a precautionary measure.....and an effective one....much better than waiting until a vulnerable person has been infected....and has infected others. Some people act like this is the first vaccine ever created....smdh.

Covid killed ~600,000 Americans over the past year, 50% more than WWII. So many died that life expectancy has fallen by one full year (three full years for black males 😬)

@@TORY-BLUE Are we just? Setting aside the criminal incompetence of the Tory Government's handling of the Pandemic, not limited to allowing the Indian variant to waltz in through 'one way' airports in the UK, we now have ever increasing and concerning deadly side effects. This, for a vaccine to treat a virus you have a 98% of surviving.
Something to consider when looking at the numbers. Prior to the adenovirus vaccines, Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia was exceedingly rare and was typically only seen in patients with Heparin exposure. Myocarditis is much more common (3.1 million cases in 2017) and it’s generally seen more often in young men. With it being a more common ailment in this particular population prior to the mRNA vaccines, it might be more difficult for the regulating agencies to determine if there is significant increased risk to young men with these vaccines.

It’s generally accepted that only 1% to 10% of adverse reactions are actually reported. What has happened to our world over the last 18 months.
Mass stupidity, that's what happened.
That doesn’t matter though, because even with 1% reported to VAERS, they can spot patterns and investigate further. That’s why try paused the J&J vaccine administrations when there were only 6 cases of blood clots, then they investigated and found 28 cases.
You need to understand what VAERS is for and how to use it properly.

Could it be that Myocarditis is discovered in young men more often because they are vastly more likely to do hard training than women and older men?
Possibly. When I go to the gym, there's almost a 7:3 ration of men:women. And guys (who are mostly between 15-45) tend to take a lot of shakes and are more likely to do demanding exercises.
50 years ago, yes. Now- no.
Or are young guys at the gym using steroids to get bigger muscles...
No, see dr Sucharit Bhachdi. Spike proteins will abound in vascular vessels and cause clotting. There was no off switch for producing spike proteins... go to the hospital if you have unusual headaches or swelling in limbs or other organs, heart, liver, Kidneys etc.
In general there is a different likelihood suffering from different deceases for women and men. It seems to be we need in general to be more aware of differences between men and women and age ect when diagnosing illness ect and how to treat it. It seems to be very important in many regards . Maybe we should strive for a more individual and differentiated way of handling illness and health
The sex difference with regards to side effects is interesting. Curious to see how they'll navigate that minefield given current sensitivity around such issues.
That’s easy. If I get a Pfizer shot I declare myself a woman and take a hot bath. If I get AS I’m a man. It also works with toilets.✊🏿✊🏿
I suspect there is reluctance (among officials) to differentiate between the sexes in the vaccine approach because they'll have to include some sort of statement about where trans people fit in. That's the real minefield.
@@davidbarry6900 I don't think they care about social minefields as much as you might think. The problem is more likely that they aren't sure if it's hormonal or not. If it's hormones you could recommend trans people taking HRT to go with their transitioned sex recommendations, and if not then to take the vaccine recommended for their birth assigned sex. The risk is small enough that letting someone choose between the two isn't unreasonable. What we don't need is a blanket statement for everyone.
Perhaps the risk is small enough that they'd rather not say one way or another, but it would be nice for some more detailed recommendations.
@@davidbarry6900, your comment is insightful. Sadly, such hesitation is borne of ignorance, perhaps due to the siloed nature of knowledge in different sectors. I suppose this is where translational research scientists such as Dr C. become an important bridge.
Indeed, gender responsive vaccination is potentially a politically explosive issue. However, the speed of adaptation to life with Covid evidenced in early 2020 suggests we have the global capacity for adaptation toward potentially life saving gender policy and practice if needed.
Should the public sector remain hesitant about making bold statements, one hopes that the emerging Covid private sector will drive change, if only to protect bottom lines. One motivation toward shared problem solving is that for minority communities worldwide, including LGBTQ, lack of clarity on gender specific safeguards may further compound preexisting factors underlying vaccine hesitancy. That is one issue government and private industry can agree needs addressing.
These are infinitesimal small numbers in the first place - Dr. C. may be jumping the gun on recommending one vaccine over another. I could picture as more data comes in new trendlines may be established.

Thank you Dr Campbell. The analysis and conclusion are very timely for humanity and for myself (personally on many levels).
What worries me is that more people appear to have had severe reactions than actual Covid itself. In my small family and friend circle we've had
3 deaths within 3 weeks of vaccine. 2 in their 30's and one who's 65. All blood related. Stroke and Heart attacks
Where I work there's been two more deaths from heart attacks. Again, one in 30's which is being investigated but recently had vaccine.
And now my dad's friend died following the vaccine who was healthy, didn't smoke or drink. Vaccinated then immediately felt sick then suffered a stroke dying the following day.
To my knowledge, NONE have been reported / yellow carded linking to vaccine. I can't confirm that for all of them but at the time, none of them were considered to be vaccine related.
And yet, with Covid, the opposite approach was adopted. My mother is pressuring my dad to have the vaccine which he doesn't want (moreso now his friend has died) and my mother still has headaches every day following her 2nd 4 weeks ago. To me, this is deeply concerning and I'm now extremely hesitant.
I'm not taking any and I'm 64. I'm happy with my supplements and I have ivermectin in case.

With all the information I've gathered over the past few months, I've decided not to have the vaccine. I've found the combination of data gathered from WHO, HART and some recent observations on UK Column very helpful. Together with John Campbell's analysis, it's pretty clear there's too much we simply don't know and considering Covid is pretty harmless for the overwhelming majority it seems logical to side with nature on this one.
It’s not the question, it’s the way you ask it.
Does the myocarditis reduce over time or is it something you would have to live with?
If it leaves severe scaring then yes it's for life.

Thanks as always John. I have a question about the numbers. The data today regarding TTS and the Jannsen vaccine referred number of doses (7.4 mil). The data from Israel and the Pfizer vaccines referred to 5.8 fully vaccinated people. Wouldn't that mean 11.6 million doses? If so, the number of cases of TTS per dose are actually quite comparable between the two studies.
I’m wondering if the timing of the second dose has an affect. The US spaced theirs at 3 weeks. Will be interesting to see the stats from the UK that spaced at 12 weeks.
The trials were designed to evaluate SAFETY! & efficacy with a 3 week spacing, yet our glorious leaders decided to make that spacing 12 weeks!
I'm scheduled for my second dose 7 weeks after my first.
I reckon spacing the doses so very close together as 3 or 4 weeks has made adverse reactions to the second dose worse.
There is already a study out that the 12 week spacing produces a stronger mid-term immunity (nobody knows about long term immunity).
I expect that in 2022 the recommendation will come out to space out the vaccine doses by 6 to 8 or 6 to 12 weeks, but officials will want more and stronger data to make that call officially.
This is just my opinion as a layperson closely watching the situation.
@@Lost-In-Blank I reckon the exact opposite: the side effects will be worse after the longer spacing because the body has had more time to build immunity. The studies show the first shot increases efficacy long after the 3-week mark, it's just getting started building immunity at that stage so it very possible if not even likely that also the side effects will increase with longer intervals up to some point where it levels out.

Im 45 and for the last 10 years of monitoring my HR during hiking and cycling, my HR never went higher than 176, even during extreme exercise. for a few months after covid, it would be at 190 with moderate exercise - and just walking upstairs would make it go to 140.
It took 3 months of slowly doing gentle exercise and building up to get my HR back to where it would normally be.
I had my jab a few days ago. It was Moderna - and sure enough, my HR is way higher than it should be.
It did this after just 2 days.
So what does this suggest to you?
Thanks for your info. I am male and 47 so similar age, I got the virus about a year ago and although I haven't monitored things like you it's really knocked me about, I still get puffed way easier than before and have started exercise fairly recently to try to return to a better level of fitness.
@@gems3604 What does it suggest to you? (not actually sure if you're being flippant here or not)
To me it suggests that my bodies reaction to covid and therefore the also the vaccine causes heart complications.
My resting heart rate is about 55bpm and my heart tends to react pretty quickly to increases and decreases in rate. I cycle 200km and climb up and down mountains with relative ease - so I wouldn't describe myself as unhealthy.
Given that this issue seems to be cropping up mostly in younger males this tends to tally. (NFL and the US army have reported cases of this with both the virus and vaccine)
Obviously it's possible that there's an underlying issue... Just as there may also be an underlying issue with those who experience clotting issues with AZ/Covid.

I was wondering if there are any other reasons why people are getting side affects. For example immediately after being vaccinated people will do extreme things like take illegal drugs, get drunk, take a big dose of vitamins or antibiotics , fast for 24 hours, do some sort of endurance exercise etc etc etc. There are so many variables for example does smoking make side affects worse. With all of the different behaviours going on post vaccination it seems the vaccines themselves are well and truly safe enough. For me I experienced vivid anxious dreams for the first 2 nights post vaccination. This is what always happens before I get a cold or influenza. It is always a sign of my body reacting to an infection however there was no illness and no other side effect.
What the authorities should tell anyone under 40, without any underlying conditions, is if they are more likely to be hospitalised with the corona virus, or from side effects of the vaccine.

Any way fair play Christine, sounds like you've found a real medical Dr listen to.
@@andrewfox4789 Definitely a thought provoking book, well worth a listen/ read.
Does she lie as much as she does in her videos? If so I'll get a copy, I enjoy fiction.
I got Moderna… I was having chest pain BEFORE I had the 2nd dose but I was assuming it was just some kind of lung thing cos I had a slight cold on the day. The day after I got it when I woke up, I had a pain my my shoulder blade in the same spot as in the front, like a through and through bullet so to speak. Should I be worried?
Well Yes! Doctor Campbell just said chest pain needs to be taken seriously. No harm if you get a check up!
@@gulliblegeets well like I said when I was having chest pain it was only on the day before I had the 2nd dose. And it felt more like a muscle soreness, only felt it when I moved certain ways or bent over, so idk what it is really
@@zacharyantle7940 For heaven’s sake, use your own judgement! Call your physician’s office. Who on a RUclips comment board are you going to trust to advise you on what to do about some nebulous personal health issue?

Dr John! Me again!
Was going to get my 16 yr old vaccinated BUT JUST READ about this!! “predominantly male, adolescents and young adults - developed myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle.”
What now?! Our family is known for heart problems. Scared of the Astra one.
There's an old saying that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. Unfortunately watching vids like this can sometimes put us into that position. I'd speak to your GP.
@@essanjay8604 I wouldn't trust a gp as far as I can throw them. The information here is better than you'll ever get from a GP because it's collated.
I wouldn't trust Zeneca either since the horror stories my dad told from working with them from the time they started...
Usually I'd say get the vaccine - in this case I'd say trust your instincts. You're already at risk genetically and myocarditis can be anything from slight to "we have 3 months to find a donor" - it's *not* a trivial thing.
That's assuming the doctors identify it and treat him properly if he does get it and it doesn't cause permanent harm.
Why on earth would you want to risk this for a 16 year old?
@@LoisPallisterCIY it’s my son!
I and my daughter are high risk. (Hearts)
Obviously I wouldn’t want to ‘risk’ it or I wouldn’t be asking questions and reading up on it first! Do you know what our Gov in Canada in Ontario is doing to us right now?! We’ve been stuck in lockdown almost the whole time! Now they’re saying that he won’t take us OUT of lock down UNLESS 70% of us agree to get vaccinated and do it!
He’s holding us ‘hostage’ until then!
Thanks Dr Campbell much appreciated 👍
A couple things from the CDC’s COVID-19 VaST Work Group Technical Report;
“Within CDC safety monitoring systems, rates of myocarditis reports in the window following COVID-19 vaccination have not differed from expected baseline rates.”
“Information about this potential adverse event should be provided to clinicians to enhance early recognition and appropriate management of persons who develop myocarditis symptoms following vaccination.”
So while the rates of myocarditis that they are currently seeing is NOT any higher than would be expected in the general population background rates, the VAST Work Group decided to note it in the meeting minutes so that clinicians would be on the look out for a POTENTIAL problem. Basically they’re giving clinicians a “heads up” and probably having them ask myocarditis patient’s about their vaccine history, just in case the numbers begin to increase above the typical background rates.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I (31 M, USA) am getting my second pfizer dose today. I'm worried about this in particular because I did get some mild chest pains, and increased heart rate after the first shot.
8:43 hear what he says! Chest pain. You should see a doc and wait and not take the jab before consulting with a doc!
Don't risk a heart attack you already rolled the dice with one shot
Mild chest pain and increased heart rate can also be symptoms of some anxiety.
I also experienced an increased heart rate. I had my second Pfizer shot a week ago. It would come on randomly. I was not stressed -- until I went back to work and found another coworker went to the hospital for similar symptoms!
Update: Ended up postponing. Advice from others and the nurse that was going to give me number two was to go to a cardiologist and get the green light from them after some testing.
? With the figures that they release as I understand it, they gave us the relative risk reduction but haven't made public the actual risk reduction figures that they are duty-bound to give us and the relative figure being for research purposes.
Many Thanks.
John.
Pfzier 95.1 relative risk is 0.7 absolute risk, Moderna 94.1 is 1.1. SEE:

Outcome Reporting Bias in COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine Clinical Trials By Dr Ron Brown
www.mdpi.com/1648-9144/57/3/199
"Abstract :
Relative risk reduction and absolute risk reduction measures in the evaluation of clinical trial data are poorly understood by health professionals and the public. The absence of reported absolute risk reduction in COVID-19 vaccine clinical trials can lead to outcome reporting bias that affects the interpretation of vaccine efficacy. The present article uses clinical epidemiologic tools to critically appraise reports of efficacy in Pfzier/BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 mRNA vaccine clinical trials. Based on data reported by the manufacturer for Pfzier/BioNTech vaccine BNT162b2, this critical appraisal shows: relative risk reduction, 95.1%; 95% CI, 90.0% to 97.6%; p = 0.016; absolute risk reduction, 0.7%; 95% CI, 0.59% to 0.83%; p < 0.000. For the Moderna vaccine mRNA-1273, the appraisal shows: relative risk reduction, 94.1%; 95% CI, 89.1% to 96.8%; p = 0.004; absolute risk reduction, 1.1%; 95% CI, 0.97% to 1.32%; p < 0.000. Unreported absolute risk reduction measures of 0.7% and 1.1% for the Pfzier/BioNTech and Moderna vaccines, respectively, are very much lower than the reported relative risk reduction measures. Reporting absolute risk reduction measures is essential to prevent outcome reporting bias in evaluation of COVID-19 vaccine efficacy. "

John, came across this today, see:
Peter Doshi: Pfizer and Moderna’s “95% effective” vaccines-we need more details and the raw data
January 4, 2021
blogs.bmj.com/bmj/2021/01/04/peter-doshi-pfizer-and-modernas-95-effective-vaccines-we-need-more-details-and-the-raw-data/
My interpretation is Pfizer cooked the figures by setting the endpoint by specifying PCR confirmed disease and thereby can ignore the additional 3,410 symptom disease cases split 1594 / 1816 vaccine/ placebo, resulting in relative risk reduction of 19% instead of the published and promoted 95%. Very disturbing!
The Pfizer efficacy percentage is calculated as:
162/170 x 100 = 95.29%
In other words, 170 people instead of 3,580.
Thank you for all the work you do.
Doctor you are just wonderful.
Thank you for all these information since the begining of the pandemic.
